Game stuck loading the "play" button on title screen

I'm on PC-Steam trying to play Apex. After the August patch I load in and its just sitting on the title screen loading the "play" button. This is very frustrating. I've already verified, and reinstalled. I'm trying now to install on an internal drive rather then an external because lots of people said they fixed it by removing flash drives and USB.

Any help would be appreciated!

    I swear, this is the most annoying issue. I've reinstalled on an internal drive and it DOESN'T work. I'm fed up with all these bugs and problems. Can SOMEONE please help me?

    I tried playing on a different computer using origin. It worked, somewhat, but it was quite broken. Very laggy, unably to check the news, 4 attempts to try and join. It's very odd. Please can EA help?
