Issue with launching the APEX after the recent update.

After the most recent APEX update, I can no longer launch the game. The same symptoms occur in both the Steam and EA app versions.

Previously, when I updated the GeForce Game Ready driver to version 552.22 or later, APEX would crash every time I launched the game, and I could not start the game anymore.

When I launch APEX, it crashes when the center circle spins before the "Next" button appears. Sometimes, I get a blue screen, and the PC is forced to shut down.

This is also used with the latest version, 555.99.

Until now, I was able to launch the game without any problems by downgrading to version 552.12. However, after this update, I can no longer launch the game with any driver version. I've tried various solutions but still can't launch the game. Is there any solution?

Here's what I've tried:
・Launching with full-screen mode turned off
・Clean install of drivers
・Reinstalling Steam, EA app, and APEX
・Launching with DirectX12
・Running r5apex.exe and r5apex_dx12.exe in the - Steam\steamapps\common\Apex Legends folder as administrator and in compatibility mode
・Disabling clean boot and startup on the PC
・Disabling XMP in BIOS settings
Even though I tried all the solution above, I still could not start the game.

By the way, even though I was able to start the game before this update, I couldn't start it with DirectX12. Is this also a problem?

・Windows 11 HOME 64bit
・DirectX12

With EA's support I tried these 3 troubleshooting above, but did not work at all.

  • @x96sz i actually cant believe it worked, but i somehow got it fixed just when i lost hope.
    and its dumbest thing you can imagine, log in different account. Seriously i just logged on second acc and the game turned on as normal
