Matchmaking taking too long PC

The waiting times for matchmaking takes wayyyy too long. I switched from PS4 to PC but I never had an issue finding games in my PS4. Its kinda annoying to wait 15 mins to play 5 mins if i get killed. I just had a match after 10 mins but with the constant lag I got killed immediately after landing. I swear I picked up a gun but when the connection was back I was dead. Apex its not enjoyable in pc.
