Re: Apex is running a smooth 60 fps, or if vsync is off 80-100 fps, but still lags??

Your FPS has literally nothing to do with lag, it is a visual problem only, and only if it gets too low.

The 3 squares symbolise packetloss. Do a ping trace if you know how to see how your connection to the Apex data centers are, if the ping trace comes back ok I would consider your connection at home.

How old is your router/modem?

How old is your cable(s) if you use one?
Have you reset your system recently? Turning EVERYTHING off and power back up in the order of Router > Modem > PC

Go to your ISP's website and see if they are experiencing issues in your area.

Last line of defence - Contact them directly and tell them you have an issue, have you had trouble in other online games?

Repair/reinstall the game.

  • I'll try this, but I do not get any server or connection issues on any other games, and when i check the packet-loss on the Apex legends home-screen, almost every single server has 2% packet-loss.

to recieve packet loss it does not have to be the fault of Respawns servers or you.

Imagine your road, and you are driving to your friends house. Packet loss is a car accident half way there, everybody that knows about it can go a different way, but the packets that dont get stuck, and "lost".

To connect to Respawn servers you might have to pass through 1,000,000 router junctions to get there. it takes 1 junction to be slow or to have an error to make your whole connection faulty.

If it is as you say and you ahve 2% packetloss for EVERY data centre then whether or not you have problems with other connections to other places, the problem is probably yours. Even if it is a piece of software that needs re-installing or updating and not hardware.
