Re: Apex Legends Flickering Pink Lights Glitch

@Mrdotcomunist

Thank you for following up!

I wonder if this could actually be a driver issue of some kind. When you have a chance can you try rolling back to an earlier driver to see if that makes any difference at all?

    Hi all,

I saw a few reports from people running AMD Radeon video cards who said that disabling Radeon Boost in the AMD Radeon Software has helped with this. If you're on an AMD GPU please give that a shot and let me know if it helps.

If you're using an NVIDIA card, what happens if you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot before launching Apex Legends? Do you still see the same artifacting in-game? For more details on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website

Let me know how that goes once you're able to give it a shot.

    Thank you!

  • Thanks for the response Kent, looks to be an issue with AMD Radeon Boost. Once I disabled this feature the texture flashing stopped. Thanks for the help!

    Hi!

So I had the same problem and tried a bunch of things like rolling back to an older version of the driver or disabling the boost feature (because I use AMD)..

(Of course I tried those things like repairing, reinstalling etc..)

Still, there is no solution for me and the texture is still flashing pink.. help would be appreciated so much!

    Thank you

    Hey @xStrLrdx

Are you running Apex Legends through Origin, or do you use Steam?

    /Kent

  • Hi Kent! I actually could solve it for me by checking the "Radeon Boost" specifically for Apex Legends. First I checked the general settings and disabled the boost.. as I said, it didn't fix my problem. After rolling back my driver (didn't work aswell) I accidentally clicked on Apex Legends as a Game in the AMD Radeon Software and saw that the Boost feature was enabled for Apex Legends individually!! Conclusion: Always check the game settings for each game aswell (besides the general settings)

I'm sorry for causing troubles, but I'm so happy I can finally play the new season!

Kind Regards and much love for the support here <3

    fixed it on amd card

i disabled radeon boost and it literally got rid of all my artifacts and other glitches. i was worried that i would have to upgrade the gpu during this shortage.
