    Hi @LatteGrandeBTW

    I really appreciate that.

Looking at the diagnostics section in the DxDiag it appears there have been some blue screen crashes in Windows. This can sometimes point to video driver issues. When you have a chance can you try doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of your NVIDIA drivers to see if that helps? An easy way to remove the drivers is by using a program called Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU is a third party program, so keep in mind that you'll be using it at your own risk). You can then re-download the newest drivers from the NVIDIA website

If that's something you're comfortable with trying please let me know if that helps at all with the issues you've been seeing with Apex Legends. Thanks again!

    /Kent

  • Unfortunately that did not help. I followed all the steps and even tried that with my audio drivers and nothing happened. I'm thoroughly stumped.

With further testing, things like: new ram; deleting old programs; updating all drivers (Deleting in Safe Mode, then reinstalling in normal mode), I still am having the issue where it will not close. This problem has also been consistent across 2 versions of windows, Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Hello, I think I've got a fix. Do you, by any chance, happen to be in the voice channel at Discord, when trying to close the game? Because, whenever I leave the voice channel, game will quit itself completely, but if I still in the voice chat, then it just hangs in processes and I cant kill it, unless I restart my PC. So, the conclusion here, is to leave the voice channel or close Discord completely, and Apex will shut itself off w/o any issues.
