Simply start it without DS4 Windows. Apparently does the PS4 controller now work with Steam, so you don't need something else

Nice that you managed to solve the problem but I never used DS4. Just like any controller in general. So this doesn't help in my case.☹️
Then there is probably some other app that interferes with the game. Apparently it's the anti-cheat that doesn't allow you to use some apps that are considered as "illegal"
It most certainly can be true but I deleted every possible banned apps that were listed on unofficial sources. The only thing that may help is if EA announces official list of banned apps. Until then it's pretty much a blind shooting.
I think expecting something from EA isn't the smartest thing to do XD. I'm sorry that I couldn't help
