Whenever this issue manifests, are there any specific abilities/grenades being used around you? (e.c Gibraltar Ult, Smokes, Thermites)
I think it's possibly related to one of these things, though if that's not the case we can try some other solutions.
These are some basic steps to take:
- Run an Admin CMD and use this command: sfc /scannow
- Return any overclocked hardware back to base clock
- Disable any special XMP profiles
- Make sure your drivers are updated to the latest version (If this issue started happening right after the driver update, then you should try to downgrade your drivers)
This is a possible fix for low performance in some cases:
- Press Windows Key + R
- Put in %USERPROFILE% and select OK
- Go to the Saved Games Folder
- Navigate to the Respawn Folder
- Navigate to the Apex Folder
- Delete the assets folder
(The assets folder causes a lot of instability in some cases, deleting it can help quite a lot)
If that doesn't resolve the issue:
- Have you recently installed new software/hardware?
- Do other games also have this issue?
- Are your computer temperatures fine whenever you are playing the game?
It's also recommended to attach a DxDiag to your post, with this we can get a better idea of your system and figure out what could be causing it.
