How is it possible that it takes your colleagues over a week to 1)realize that there is an issue and 2)acknowledge that there is an issue and letting your customers know that it is being worked on? I work for a mid-sized SaaS company - if it would take our customer support teams this long, their would be consequences. One would expect a company such as EA to be run by professionals. My impression is that it is run by amateurs.
Is there any ETA on this fix? It's been over a week since the patch. Marked as solution, but there isn't even a fix insight.

What makes it worse is that we have no idea what's truly causing it especially when this season has caused alot of people to get heavy lag, high cpu usage on pc, and starvation. Like please tell us what's going on if you know.
I still have the same problem...freeze after some seconds in lobby...

@deadlyKuba It doesn't fix anything tho. It's just a bandage. And a lot of people won't have a clue what any of that is.
If people need their settings to be as low as possible, then this isn't a fix. Perhaps take 5 mins to think before posting nonsense.
your right it's just a bandage and yes it messes my fps up aswell but at least its something and yes this should have been already fixed since everyone was talking about it and yes some wont know what this means but I have spend a whole week trying to find something countless hours that led to me still crashing so sorry that maybe after a whole week of trying to find a solution im not so keen on explaining every detail to everyone

FIX CONFIRMED
Changed config file within windows user apex folder to these settings and it checked out.
Will the season be extended or the quads event given the fact a lot of us have now been unable to play for over two weeks for what should of been an easy fix ?

Its a shame that we are still on this game better leave this and play other games that gives value to our Time
I cannot begin to even think how tf you guys release something this bugged, seriously.
And the audacity to mark something as a solution just for visibility is not helping at all, its been two weeks since you realeased your last buggy update and nothing has been done to fix this annoying bug.
Now i clearly understand how this game is full of cheaters, i mean, it is not like EA or Respawn give any damn bout this game community.
This issue still occurring then APEX had the audacity to post about the incoming "improved" battlepass. Time to move on from this game I guess

the game is near to impossible to play (for me... but i know i'm not the only one) since Quad game update.
I fixed the "freezing lobby" problem with the CFG lines that many players gave here... but it don't help for the terrible fps that we are many to have since the same update.In every play i got 15-20 fps in fights... and i loose most of them because of that.
The game was working fine before this terrible update. Plz give us back the game as it was
Same problem after update. I have fully factory reset my computer, updated drives, clear chache, used ge force to optimze my in game settings, repaired and verified game files and literally 10 other things and nothing works. It's been almost 3 weeks now that I cannot play apex and its so stupid that there is nobody solving this after 3 weeks! It makes me never want to play this game again. No update after a week already?

im getting the same..tht last update and apex its pretty unplayable? it freezes,sometimes after a couple of games and then sometimes straight away in lobby...i even noticed my cpu heating up and it goes to 100%,to which ive seen others have had this too....ppl sayin its the servers?? i have to play on * xbox1 now :-) and its ALL UR FAULT :-)
So I didn't even try playing for the last 2 weeks, but gave it a shot today. Still no dice, freeze still happening. Haven't seen any "new" solutions in here or on reddit, already tried all of them. Unbelievable that nobody seems to care @Respawn/EA.

Apex be like we found the fix but we won't fix it cz we are dumb greedy for money.there gonna fix there game if you pay them.apex mod and dev are same shameless inhuman

I hardly believe it... but I still got :
- terrible fps in game (15-20 fps in fights)
- freezes of the game from time to time in the lobby, that i only can leave shutting down the game in Task Manager.I got these problems since your "Quad teams" update (The game was working perfectly before this update.)...
When was that ? 3 weeks ? one month ?... and still no fix at all.- @Mootos i have the same problem ! i think i fixed the freezing thing but the huge fps drop remains .. its been 3 weeks now and we have no fix ! Do you think its gonna be better after the next update ?

16 gb RAMapex is on ssd with 50 gb spare on that ssd
