Hi @MiracleousPotter Thanks for going through those steps, do you have anything else running when you try to play?
If not can you try default Origin and Apex to run as admin in Compatibility settings, and letting them through any security you have to see if this continues?
discord, steam, msi afterburner and logitech hub were running in the background. i play on steam version.
i manage to find a fix by setting setting.stream_memory to 0. the game looks bad, but it do the job. still dont understand tho why apex eat so much vram.- EA_Illium4 years ago

@MiracleousPotter Glad to hear you found a workaround, althought to help Apex look better back if you want can you try shutting down other programs that are running to see if we can also achieve better image quality while playing. i've tried that with only afterburner running to monitor vram usage. still high usage ☹️
i'm fine tho with the bad texture, it also give me 2-5 fps. so its all good. thanks for the help btw :D- EA_Illium4 years ago

@MiracleousPotter glad I could offer assistance! Update:
Apparently setting the texture to medium fix my vram problem. The highest vram usage i got after playing for 4 hours straight is 3.2 gb with avg usage around 2,2gb - 2,8gb. Really weird when i set to very low i got 4gb vram usage. Maybe its a bug, devs should check it. thanks 🙂
