Same thing. Apparently it's there on consoles but it appears to be absent on PC.

If you use the 'borderless window' instead of fullscreen it'll use your desktop brightness settings, at least with Windows 10. It's not a perfect solution but it helped for me. Also something to note with borderless window, it appears to potentially make vsync stop working, at least adaptive vsyncs.
