Server Timeout mid ranked game and unable to reconnect to receive points

Was playing a ranked match when the game kicked myself and my entire squad out, and did not allow us to reconnect. it wasn't my local internet as my connection to discord was not interfered with, however, we lost all of the 250+ points that we had accrued during the match. Is there any way of getting these points back? did anybody else experience this random kick from the game?
