Severe input lag of over 3 seconds occurs within APEX maps

I'm experiencing severe input lag of over 3 seconds on the APEX map.
There's no lag when I use only the keyboard to input WASD commands or when I move only the mouse, but when I use both the keyboard and mouse simultaneously, the screen stutters and there's severe input lag.
My PC specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K
RAM: 16GB 2133MHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX1080Ti 11GB
I'm using an older computer, and Battlefield and other games run fine without any issues. I've reinstalled the game and updated the GPU driver, but only APEX still experiences the issue.
