Sound goes silent, then game freezes (Hard Shutdown of PC required)

I have had this sound problem on and off I believe since Season 5 started. The frequency is random, last night I played a long session with 0 crashes. Today 2 back to back crashes requiring the hard...

@Pure_Funk_Nugget Could you please verify you have the latest Windows 7 updates that was released and updated drivers?
Even if its audio related it's not necessary connected to your onboard sound or drivers but it could be something else that messing.

    @EzyHawk First fix I am trying is switching to the microsoft hd audio driver instead of the realtekm I've read about problems with them already just didn't know I could change to a microsoft hd audio that was already there. No crashes yet, will update after a longer time period.
