I have been experiencing sound bugs and various sound problems in Apex. And then after a while this message started to show up, whenever i started to play the game.
Anyone have any solutions?

@ar7projrThis is a large scale problem affecting many users. Some have had success changing their launch options to remove any reference to "miles_channels"; as per here -https://www.gosunoob.com/guides/apex-legends-crashes-couldnt-initialize-sound-fix/
There's also this page here - https://www.triveditech.com/couldnt-initialize-sound-error-in-apex-legends/ with a number of potential fixes. I suspect this will be repaired by the devs more quickly, since it seems to be a very well documented issue affecting a broad section of the playerbase.Been playing Apex since S15 launch.
Yesterday I tried launching my game, it keep crashing after the EA video with an error message “Couldn’t initialize sound”.
Nothing on my computer has changed since the night before this started happening. I can no longer play the game.
Same here. Game worked for a few days after launch. Now I can’t get in
Same problem,Was fine for 3 days in seazon 15 and then bang not working.Tried all solution,reinstaled games ,change language etc. .I Am using asus xonar sound card.
Name of the topic speaks for the issue. I started playing s15 on friday, all as usual and boom it's messed up on saturday. I have not changed anything on my pc yet this comes up.
- And yes, steam version, made error search first with no success as it continued to crash, complete reinstall of the game afterwards and no success. Intro plays with sound (the ugly pink one) and the crash comes right after it.
