Why is the ping so high on FC24?

Why is the ping so high on FC24 at the moment? I live on a small island near South Africa thus we play on the South African server which is good but now i’m forced to play on 80 to 200 ping!! When the latency is good i usually get 40ms but now it’s unplayable!! Hoping to get a reply as soon as possible and also because i want to enjoy the last few days of FC24 before moving to FC25!!
