If I wanted to play COD, I'd buy and play COD. I've grown to the point that I don't like the twitchy, superspeed slides and jump shots. Quite honestly, I want something that's between COD and Squad. That has always been BF in the past. I'm hoping that the fact that the Beta was small and mid-sized maps that it felt more COD-like than it really is. Truth be told, I enjoyed the mid-sized maps more than the smaller ones as it gave me a second to regroup my thoughts without having to sprint 100 mph after every respawn.
This is just my pathetic attempt at persuading EA/Dice to make a better game. They've never listened to me in the past....I highly doubt they will start now.....
You're spot on. Battlefield struck the perfect balance between arcade and simulation. I miss that Battlefield. It occupied a unique place in gaming that hasn't been filled by another game yet.
