Forum Discussion
Dear EA Sports,
I have been going through the posts one by one — I am now close to reading 1,000 — and I have not found a single one that describes the game positively, even in the smallest detail. What I am seeing instead is genuine passion for real football turning into frustration and anger, driven by the same issues being raised year after year.
I do believe you are trying, and I acknowledge that. However, the results are becoming increasingly clear with each passing day. No one here has bad intentions — but when people care this much, the emotional response becomes inevitable. What you are seeing is not random negativity — it is a direct reaction to a consistently poor experience.
At its core, players are asking for a game that is fun, fair, and challenging — but above all, playable. No one is asking for easy wins. We want a challenge that is earned, not manufactured through broken mechanics, inconsistent gameplay, lagging servers, or AI that feels either absent or unrealistically dominant. At some point, effort is no longer enough — results matter, and right now, they are not there.
The feedback around server performance and AI behavior has been consistent for years. These are not new issues, not edge cases, and not isolated complaints. This is a long-standing, widely shared experience across your player base — and the lack of meaningful resolution is now impossible to ignore.
This is not a rant. This is a consensus. Loyal players are asking for the game to deliver what was promised around September, October, and November last year. Yes, some feedback may come across as harsh — but that is what happens when passion meets repeated disappointment.
There is also a serious point that cannot be ignored: this experience is rage-inducing. That should never be the outcome of a game. With younger players involved, this goes beyond entertainment — it touches on wellbeing. The emotional reactions you are seeing are evidence, not noise. Silencing or removing those voices does not solve the problem — it highlights it.
To summarise: passion has now turned into frustration — and frustration is turning into anger. I am confident this is not your intention, but it is the current outcome. The community is losing patience because it has been saying the same things for too long without change.
So here is the reality, clearly stated:
Listen to what is being said — not just the words, but the weight behind them. Fix the fundamentals. Address the servers. Correct the AI. Restore fairness. Bring the game back to what it was meant to be!
Because right now, the gap between expectation and reality is no longer small — it is obvious, it is growing, and it is Ugly!
