Terrible game

Gameplay is incredibly unintelligent it holds ur hand autotackle everything.

U have to play the meta way or not bother playing.

Try to start a Coop game where u control both teams and see how much the game autotackle.

No need for skills anymore its just pass, pass, play meta down wing incisive pass.

When the age limit becomes 16 then you will see a major downfall in players, cause anyone with a semi developed brain will lose theyre marbles playing this.

And why is it that if a pass goes wrong it doesnt go slightly of, but magneticly goes directly to opponent.

And your players dont try to find space. If anything they make sure to run into a position were they are covered and make it difficult to pass to them.

The AI isnt even smart enough to move out of the way if u cut in with ur winger dribbling the striker will not move out of the way. He will become a Defender and stand in the way of your winger and cover him.

Or how about the free kick i just had... I hold up to pass... UP.... But the game decides i wanted right.

Or the defenders dropping way deep creating space. Or attacker pushing up with no understanding of movement.

Oh my Adeyemi received the ball 3 meters in front of the female right Bach who turns around and catches up to him like nothing within 5 meters, almost looks like he has 99speed in walking compared to her.

And the bad touch but were the player uses 5 min to run up to the ball 1 meter in front of him. Thats been there all year. So a player 5 meters away can jog up and take it.

You are the worst game developers in history...

Players are horrible at heading, passing, bad movements, terrible first touches, feel of game is inconsistent at best.

Shockingly incompetent, its just so bad. Seriously what are you thinking.

Im going to predict that your data says 50+ percent like it so ur doing good, but thing is most of those are terrible players and only play on and off and couldnt tell you anything about real gameplay. And thats the audience you cater.

I would truly be embarased advertising this.

If this was a indie game made by 3 guys for 20 dollar i could understand, well show understanding. But this is not a AAA title worthy.

This really is the worst game i have ever spent this much time on. The AI isnt even on par with games 30 years ago. Only improvement in 30 years are the graphics but i wish u had worked on gameplay instead...Truly disappointing.

This is not a game of skill anymore. Its a game that holds the weaker players hand so that they can win as well and has been completely striped down of gameplay and lost any integrity in the chase of money.

Lesson learnt... Will not be back next year, im done...

just don;t buy the game. It will be same sh@t different day anyway

  • There are even more reasons this game is so bad but those are a lot of the most obvious.  Passes going straight to the opponent when ever you miss a pass is just so unrealistic and looks like pure sabotage.  Auto tackling and advanced defending is for babies and exploited by bad players it is beyonds shameful.  Tacklebacks  even after promoting the game under the premise of one of the main features fixed.  Shameful also.  AI defenders running parallel with attackers just to watch them score and dribble.  Disgusting.  The game is constantly attempting to keep a competitive game by nerfing who over the better players and assisting the weaker player and in over drive after the 70'th minute.

This is bad even for "soccer". Inconsistant, buggy, no customer support. Things that can be done better without any understanding of football.

I like your dream, but as long as football remains a game more than a sport, licensing will remain the biggest barrier to make a decent game. Estimations are around 1 Billion EUR that EA spends every year. This is a large entry ticket to pay. Only big money can afford that and big money is interested in making more money. Which will lead to the same problem as with EA: You don't need to be good. You need to be the best - which can be worse than good as long as you can buy exclusive rights for real football. Real names is is the main selling point. Who wants to play with Hackney FC or Borussia Grün/Rot Herne? This is why UT and lootboxing works. This is why everything else can be secondary: You need the minimal viable product.

The solution would be to ban the sales of exclusive rights for leagues, teams, players, competitions, anything. To break the EA cartel without going the Italian way to avoid a wild mix of real and fantasy names. This could lead to much lower licensing costs, more companies trying to go against EA, and more investments in the development of better games. (This would be great for TV/streaming rights, too).

Unfortunately, I don't suppose that that will happen. It would go against capitalism. And no one wants that. 😏

  • Game is a joke and EA don't care, horrible company with awful customer service, they have our money already and that is all they care about. Mistakes made nearly everyday on their end and they don't even have the dignity to apologise for it, they just don't care

They will not do anything about it. People are complaining about the same issues over and over again for years.  The only new thing for next year will probably be a new marketing campaign full of new lies. This will be my last EA football game too.

About time a european gaming company starts creating a football game, people that actually understand how it's played

I get why you're frustrated. From what you've described, the biggest issues are the heavy reliance on auto defending and auto tackling, inconsistent passing and player movement, input not always matching your commands, and gameplay that feels like it rewards a narrow meta rather than different playstyles. On top of that, inconsistent first touches, heading, defensive positioning, and attacking AI make matches feel more random than skill based. If these problems continue, it's understandable why you'd feel discouraged about returning next year. Hopefully the developers take this kind of feedback into account and make meaningful gameplay improvements in future updates.
