'Connecting to UT not possible at the moment'

After 2 entries in ultimate gauntlet 3 during my next entry where I won game 1, lost game 2 the round 3 game would not progress regardless of if I won the game or lost. During my 3rd round game I would get disconnected during the game and returned to the matchmaking screen where I could play round 3 again as if the game was never played.

However, even if I won the match and completed it / forced a quit from my opponent. The game would not count and kick me out of ultimate team completely where I would have to load back in again. This started on the 30th October. The issue remained when I attempted the same mode on the 31st. Other modes such as squad battles were working normally.

On November 1st, the issue continued so I decided to go into a gauntlet round match and quit the game by closing application. The hope was that this would end my current gauntlet entry and allow me to start a new one. As I reloaded the game I found I could not even load into Ultimate team completely. If I tried I would receive the error message 'Connecting to ultimate team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the main menu'.

This error message appeared all day on November 1st (and still as of now) even after sharing my complaints to EA through an online chat and forums (where I found others with the same issue) EA have given no response or solution about this case. An online EA agent suggested it to be my system software or ISP issue. However, I cleared my PS5 console cache, rebuilt the database and attempted to load into UT using my phones hotspot. None of these steps solved the issue. I have also deleted and reinstalled the FC 26 game on my PS5 which also did not solve anything.

I used my second account and loaded UT on FC 26 and this was successful. The second account had no team created until today. Also the second account is on the same console as the account I can’t load UT on. This confirms the problem to be an EA account issue and not an internet or software issue of the console. Another thing to note is that after the failed login to UT. I am unable to open the companion or web app as both claim I am signed in on another device even though this is not the case. After 3 hours the companion app does allow me to log back in which I discovered late evening of November 1st after just waiting.

This bug has caused me to miss key SBC’s for the Lewis Skelly objective and also meant I was unable to continue playing the gauntlet or squad battles modes over Saturday. This is no fault of my own and EA must make an effort to compensate players who could not do SBC’s or earn rewards in gauntlet, squad battles, champions, rivals games due to being locked out of UT mode.

Guys if you see this post please like it and comment to make sure EA are aware of this issue. This is happening to multiple players on multiple platforms and EA claim to have made note of it but have not yet even addressed this issue or any player concerns despite the numerous posts about this issue.

    EA support just tells me to update this post let alone because of this bug i have lost Money due to a paid Evo unable to be complete because of this bug.

    Mass amounts of people all having the same issue and we cannot get a response anywhere not even an "were looking in to it"

    Am FUT founder and over last 16 years probably spent Thousands on the game never complained, never raised support cases and over a reward bug not being given on a Benzema card and an evo that amounts to £2 this will be it for me and this game i expect to get what i paid for and be rewarded for what i earned.

     

  • Apparently they are doing "maintenance" for another 2 1/2 hours before the servers will "work" again.

    How they will work is another issue.

    I have the same issue i already try another account same console same internet before this happen i face the opponent from PC and i loss but at the end of the match  he disconnect and the results turn out ,  I won so how to fix this i can't complete GAUNTLET 4

    the issue seems to be connected to only the gauntlet mode. When gauntlet mode ends your account can log back in. EA have not fixed it.

    I have this issue and have battle it now like 2 days. Good to now that i have to wait for days that my account start to work again. Nice going EA! And the time that i spend trying every fix from web. I think i quit playing this.  😵
