Formal Request for Review of Regional Restrictions – Syria

Dear EA Legal & Compliance Team,

I am writing to formally request a review of the regional restrictions currently applied to EA games and services in Syria.

In light of recent official developments regarding the lifting and modification of international sanctions on Syria by relevant authorities, I respectfully ask Electronic Arts to reassess the legal and compliance basis for the continued unavailability of EA services in the Syrian region.

I fully understand EA’s obligation to comply with applicable U.S., EU, and international trade, export control, and sanctions regulations. However, given the updated legal landscape, I kindly request clarification on whether EA has initiated, or plans to initiate, an internal legal review to determine if regional availability for Syria can be updated accordingly.

Should your legal or compliance teams require official documentation, legal texts, government notices, or regulatory references concerning the current sanctions status, I am prepared to provide such materials upon request.
