Urgent Complaint: Gameplay, Fairness, and Ongoing Issues in EA Sports FC 26

I am writing to express my strong frustration and disappointment with the current state of EA Sports FC 26. The game has significantly declined in quality over time and, in its current state, does not feel worth even a single dollar.

The gameplay has lost its enjoyment, creativity, and, most importantly, its fairness. There are clear issues with hackers in the game, yet there are no effective bans or any form of compensation for players who suffer losses because of them. On top of that, the gameplay feels repetitive and heavily scripted — as if outcomes are pre-decided, with little to no impact from actual player skill. It genuinely feels like the game determines who wins and who loses.

There are also long-standing technical problems that have been ignored for far too long. One major example is the inability to adjust the squad during gameplay, especially in FUT Champions — an issue that has existed for a very long time without any proper fix. Instead of addressing core gameplay problems, the focus seems to be on releasing more challenges and evolutions while the gameplay itself continues to deteriorate.

Additionally, there is a clear and disappointing gap between the quality of the game at launch and its current condition. Many players feel they were drawn in by promises that were never fulfilled. Once those targets were achieved, it seems the level of care and support dropped significantly. Updates often fix one issue but break another, leaving the game unstable and unbalanced.

The experience has become extremely repetitive, frustrating, and, frankly, boring. This is clearly reflected in the decline of the player base. Even the initial popularity of the game was not due to its excellence, but rather the lack of real competition in football gaming.

The “pay-to-win” model is another serious problem. Even for players like myself who have never spent money on points, the reward system feels unrewarding and discouraging. I have never packed a high-value player such as Gold Mbappé or any meaningful promo card, which removes any motivation to keep playing.

Connection and ping issues are also a major concern. While some of these problems may be related to external conditions, there has been no clear communication or transparency from the company, nor any visible effort to properly address them.

At this point, I sincerely hope that future titles are not developed with the same mindset. Personally, I will not consider purchasing the next release unless real improvements are proven over time.

Overall, the lack of listening to the community is extremely disappointing. In some cases, feedback seems to lead to worse outcomes — when players ask for small adjustments (such as balancing mechanics or goalkeeper performance), the changes are often excessive and end up damaging the gameplay even further.

I urge you to take this feedback seriously and start prioritizing gameplay quality, fairness, and player experience over short-term content updates.
