Mid-West themed pack and a shopping mall update

I feel I should narrow down my idea for that midwest vibe yeah? 

theme: midwestern gothic
environment: mainly consisting of plains with a hiking trail on a hilly area in the background (consisting of limestone sides- very common here) with woods, a lake of sorts (with functional boats to at least to get to some sort of landing like in the Cats and Dogs pack). The town square something kind of similar to Copperdale but less industrial, and the pack would feature more functional Rv's/trailer homes with like, actual wheels(??) or at the least just have a place with said trailers. Small pre-fab styled houses with the more wealthy district having 1920s-1930s styled craftsman bungalows (again, very common). The towns center I think should have some sort of souvenir shop or something to tie to a certain famous cryptid in that area and them some random statue in the towns center (I mean random. Chicago has a bean and Missouri has a fork...). 

function/career: sims can have a cryptid hunting career. I think id be similar to the ghost hunting from Paranormal but instead of séances you have recording equipment and traps to try to prove or disprove. I also like the idea of a forest ranger in the woodsy area that sims could talk to and see of there is any evidence of a cryptid making sims disappear/overall weird sightings. That could also be a legitimate career as well (which I would prefer not to be a rabbit hole and said sim could actually live IN the tower but that'd be too much a probably crash lower functioning pc's).

cross pack: i think this could easily be cross pack compatible with paranormal, life and death, and strangerville and probably a few others with specific moodlets and activities.

Those are not things I associate with the American Midwest. I would like a world that reflect the envirnment of Prairie States of the upper Midwest states.  

As a midwestern I am not sure what you mean? I have lived in it my whole life and I can assure you that outside of the obvious prairie land and limestone, we have the weirdest urban legends that sound like it came from behind a gas station (which, they most liking did lol). What do u associate with the midwest?

I associate the American Midwest currently with small family farms, oil rigs, wild game hunting, and Native American Reservations. I also associate it with the frontier, when brave people left everything and attempted to settle the area. I live near areas where Laura Ingalls Wilder would have traveled and lived. The "urban legend" crap is not something I have not heard from anyone. Especially since Hollywood made a terrible movie that was actually making fun of people with Scandinavian accents and purpentuating bad sterotypes about a fake event was made about the city I live in. BTW, that event never actually happened it was a fake made up murder story. The closest we got to what I associate with the Midwest is Cottage Living, but instead it needed flatter terrain and long very cold winters and the ability to hunt the wild animals. 

Cryptids would be good. Big Foot/Sasquatch could return to the Sims via that in someway.

What about Oasis Springs and StrangerVille and that horese ranch world...don't they emulate the southern west enough?

I live in a state that borders Canada. Those three worlds are NOT anything like the Midwest.

Not into American worlds that boarder Canada either! I don't want anymore US worlds unless they're major cities.

I'd rather have a West African world represented before more American worlds.

I DO get the hunting thing WHICH I think that in itself would be a really fun mechanic. Also, sorry, as a midwesterner I have never heard of that movie or urban legend at all. We just must've grown up with different cultures/sides of the midwest. I grew up around urban legends/ghost stories, trailer parks, camping and hunting, and where the plains meet the limestone with the main "downtown" area with those old brick shops from like, the 1900s 😅 speaking of which I think food trucks would be a fun addon too. Especially like that one that I see everywhere now and again at cons in Arkansas (mainly) with brick oven pizza 🤤

Arkansas is a southern state, at least from what I remember when learning about the regions while is school almost 30 years ago. That why I can say it didn't remind me of the American Midwest. It is interesting you have never heard of the movie Fargo. Btw, it wasn't filmed in the town it is named for.
