All sorts of 'Game Option' selectors should be created - to allow us to turn on/off ANY added game play or the pack entirely. Since you can't really try out the pack until you buy it, and once you buy it you're stuck with it, we should have more control over every aspect of what was in the pack. Not saying an on/off setting for each build/buy item or each piece of clothing, but an all or nothing option to allow all the pack's build/buy items, all the packs clothing, and all the pack's added gameplay like Vampires, Werewolves, etc. (grouped logically by pack). Should also allow us to turn off things that were added that have (in my opinion) ruined some aspects of game play - like making babies more trouble than they're worth. Being able to select the components I want to use and leave off the garbage I don't want would be a nice feature.
It would also be nice if EA made every DLC free for 30 days so we can try it out. If we like it, we buy it, if we don't it goes away. Especially as it relates to items that are not included in the 'Great Game Guarantee' since most of what's coming out any more seems more lackluster than anything 'Great.' How many times has one of us purchased a Sims add-on only to discover that it's really not even close to as good as we thought it was going to be once the download ended? A 30-day "try before you buy" option will also force improved quality of product and service when new packs are released - if it's buggy, broken, or just sucks, people won't buy it.

What's the point of playing a game if you want to turn off half the features?
Barbies are great for those that don't want to play a simulation game...but that's just my opinion. We love the barbie doll.

That is just the point!!! Everyone has different likes and dislikes in the game. They give us the option to set our sim's likes and dislikes. And really, we players are kind of like EA's living sims. So all we want is the same thing so to speak. I am sure there are many things we like in common but there are also probably many things that we don't. You don't need to understand me nor I you. We just respect the fact that we are different and if I want the ability to turn certain things off in my game, why not. It doesn't affect you badly. I just want to be supported in this, not told how I should do things differently. Because then I'm playing someone else's game, not mine. 🤩

First name basis...i prefer you keep my name out of any post you make.
It's okay to disagree.

I don't think it's so hard to understand why people want to turn off occults. Some people find them ugly, scary, or a vampire doesn't make sense in a realistic gameplay... There are many reasons. I love old vampire movies and books but not the sims vampires. They are like a joke version. I love everything else in that pack though, the world, CAS, build items.

Yep, campy vampys can be fun, but don't always have a place in certain to most gameplays/storylines.

Miataplay Well obviously some ppl like packs for build items and not just gameplay, or maybe for select game play, which is why so many settings for other packs can be turned off to customize game play..
you do realize people can like simulation games but want to turn off features sometimes, right? Both of those things can exist at once. I’m hoping the ridiculousness of your comment means you’re being sarcastically redundant, but the ignorant tone really makes me wonder.

You should not be worried about my opinion.
It's not going to get you any closer to your goal.
I'm sorry you feel that I'm ignorant and I really don't care. I put my feedback in this thread and I'm straight forward with my responses.
It's better to disagree than to call someone ignorant.
You don't get anywhere with name calling in feedback.

Kantar66 that is a fantastic idea, I think many people would enjoy that option. and for me I just wish it was clear I could not turn off vampires or confine them to their world, since I can do that with werewolves! It just seems silly. Even a mini trial like a few days of a pack would be so nice!
