Can't even play a game

Hi, I've been playing the sims for a long time, I've recently just took a break and now when I finally get back into the sim of things, I can't load into a game. I got on after it said 'All up to date' to start a brand-new game. spending at least a long time in the CAS, I finally go to pick my location, press 'move in' and I'm immediately hit with an error code. No big deal, right? So, I go check and update all mods I had and delete the cache, update my computer, make sure it's all good to go- even the game updated again so after repairing the game from the EA app, I get back on the game to be met with the same thing even if I went to other saved games. Regardless, I still continued on and turned off mods and still it did not work as I've tried everything I have in my power to do. Seeing that I looked it up and others have had the same issue as well- some did not even have mods in the first place and they had the issue.
