I went to edit my family in CAS after the July 1st update and it will not load! I left it for 3 hours! I've tried repairing my game and even removing all my mods and even at base game with nothing added it still wont load! it also crashed and quit responding at one point! I even tried to create a new family and still got nothing! now I also cant drag and drop objects to my trash cans, dishwasher, ect. EA FIX IT!!
StayFristy Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
I took everything out. even took my saved game out and completely started over and cas still wouldn't load. when the game booted up and I clicked new game, it froze then my whole game crashed. I even uninstalled sims and reinstalled and didn't put nothing back and it still happened
Are you unable to load CAS in a new save game in a new sims 4 folder without any of your user data in it?
iv done all that already. it still wont load.

With your other issue, try resetting your sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue occurs when opening CAS in a new save game.
