What can we store in the "Classic Apothecary Cabinet?"

Hello there!

I recently tried to store items in the "Classic Apothecary Cabinet" from the Realm of Magic pack, but only a few objects actually go inside.
At first, I thought it might be limited to potion ingredients, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, apples don't go in, yet lemons do. Some herbs and flowers work, but not all: parsley doesn’t go in, daisies do, but not begonias?

I also assumed we’d be able to store potions in it, but apparently not?

So, what exactly can we store in the Classic Apothecary Cabinet from Realm of Magic?
Is this a design choice or possibly a bug?

I tested this with no mods installed. Here's what I currently have:

FP: 01, 15, 29, 35, 36, 37, 43, 46, 49, 61, 63, 67
GP: 04, 08

Thanks in advance for any insights!
Much appreciated

  • Thank you for your answer !

Oh, so you mean it's actually meant to be used with the ingredients from the treatments for ailments? When I mentioned apples, I was thinking of the Realm of Magic potions.

Before Enchanted by Nature came out, I had just tried putting potions in it without really looking into it too much.

It just feels a bit surprising that the object doesn't really work with the features of the pack it came with, but rather with a newer one released much later. Is that something that happens often

  • Since it's an apothecary cabinet, it's most likely only the items used in apothecary recipes. Lemons are called for in some, but I don't think apples ever are.

A small but interesting little piece of cross-pack compatibility. Could you put anything in it before Enchanted by Nature came out? I never tried.
