TwentyOnePockys Are you sure it's the save causing it? Usually, a bad save will crash the game when you try to load or resume the save using the options on the main menu. Since your game is crashing before you get to the main menu, that makes me think that it's something else. Like a corrupted file. It could be a game file, out of date mods that have imbedded something in your saves or simply a corrupt save.
So, you can try several things. First thing I would try is see if a folder reset will work. So, move the "The Sims 4" folder to somewhere else on your computer then start the game. If it crashes when you do that, do a game repair through the EA App or a full uninstall/reinstall. Then try again. If it works, then copy the files from the old saves folder into the new one and try again. If it crashes then, it's at least one save. So, then start again with copying saves, this time copy only one save group (the save and all its versions) and see if one of them will work. Try each group one at the time until you either go through them all or find one that works and doesn't crash the game. It could just be that it's only one save causing the problem. And then test with your mods. We've had an update so make sure everything you have is up to date.
And sad to say, if none of that works to get you back into your save, then you're probably going to have to start over.
Hope this helps.
