New Stuff Packs Won't Download?

Today I purchased three Stuff Packs during EA's Halloween sale. (Dine Out, Laundry Day, & Home Chef Hustle) They're listed in my library as downloadable add-ons. But when I try to download them, the "preparing" process is longer than usual. An error message will pop up stating "You don't have access. We've paused the download because you don't own this title. You can cancel the download, keep it paused, or visit the Game Hub for more options." I've even tried to repair my game, reopen the EA app, and cleared my cache. Nothing is really working. I can't repurchase them because again my library states that I own them. Please let me know if anyone else has had this issue.

  • Soufs1de  Did you specifically clear the EA App's cache?  (I'm not sure from the way you worded your post.)  If not, that's the first step.

    If that doesn't or didn't help, please do it again and restart your computer just in case there was a delay in processing your purchase.

    If you still have the same issue, please go to ea.com, sign in, open Account Settings > Order History, and find the purchase on the llist.  Let me know whether its status is Completed, Processing, or Failed.

    Hello! Yes, I cleared specifically my EA cache. However, I did check the status of my purchase. It says processing, which is weird. I've never had that happen before when purchasing new game packs. Is there a solution for that since that is the case? Thank you for the help as well!

    I have the same problem, I have tried everything and nothing helps. The DLC (grow together) is not in my library, but it does say in my sims itself that I have the DLC but that it is not installed.

    The order is on completed so I do not understand why it does not come in my library. ( i bought it today with the halloween sale)

    In this specific scenario your best bet would be reaching out to our chat advisors at help.ea.com so they can take a look at what step the purchase is getting hung at. 

    They should be able to resolve this for you pretty quickly.
