Sims is totally bugged

My characters do not follow through with actions, cancelling them as I try to initiate them. As well, when I open the Sims 4 application, it asks me to delete 700 items off my pc.
As for the character tasks problem (The most prominent issue) my game isn't modded, only having paid 16 dollars to EA themselves for the weather add on. I tried resetSim <F/N> <L/N>, shift and clicking on the sim to reset them, I even turned automation off. I worked hard for this game and for this to happen is really making me upset.
