Sudden glitch, Game will not launch

Hello, I'll try making this as less complicated as possible and I'll try to include every detail possible of what happened. 

So earlier this morning I was playing sims 4 on one of my fav households, saved the game and changed worlds to another household that's been giving me issues a downloaded sim went to live with them. The game converted her into the aunt of her boyfriend instead of his girlfriend and I tried downloading a mod that would fix this. Prior to this, she was pregnant, but I had 8 sims already in that lot so before I added a baby to the lot I did shift click on the sim I wanted to delete and removed it but it didn't go away, it got grayed out. I must've hit save during that because I thought it was fine, I can't remember. But then it dawned on me that I could've done enablecheats true>CAS.fulleditmode to do this. When I went to do that, the sin that I intended to delete was there, and my fav sin got deleted :(. I panicked haha and I tried to exit game without save and go back to that household to check if the sim was still there and, while glitchy, it was somehow still there. I managed to fix it and installed the mod I mentioned before and finally I could get the lineage tree thing fixed. I played for a while after that, hitting save every now and then.

Then closed the game, opened it back again after an hour or two, and played a little more on my fav household and closed again. After about 3hrs I found some cc content that I wanted to add to the game, and while I got an error about the installed cc being corrupted and I should delete it or repair game (I ended up removing all the files I added today) The sims 4 program wouldn't launch. At all. I deleted all the files, ran a diagnosis through avast, but it was still bad.

I took off all the mods I had installed and tried the game again. Nothing. No launch. 

I un installed the app through steam and installed again. Nothing. No launch. 

I signed out of EA app and signed back in. Nothing. Instead of launching it would pop up EA's Sims 4 screen. 

I saw a reddit post about needing to update drivers, I went into DEVICE MANAGER and downloaded the NVIDIA app to keep my graphics card updated, but even with the newest version... Nothing. No launch.

It occurred to me that maybe the saves were corrupted so I deleted localthumcache and took out 3 of the saves that had like minutes or around an hour of separation (there were only 4 saves) and left one. I kept the CC content out. 

The game was able to launch to the main screen, very glitchy and laggy. But it didn't have my households :( I'd have preferred anything but that. Not my precious households. 

I tried the other saves I had in that same file in electronic arts, but still. "New Game" and no Load Game :(

Now my households are gone and Idk what else to do. 

If anyone knows what to do or have experienced anything like this please let me know. I'm not tech savvy but I'll do my best to follow your advice.
