traditional use Raise the upper limit of the battle pass level to 100 Please do not forget that many players have been playing with the goal of reaching Battle Pass Level 100. I would like this to be fixed so that players can progress to Level 100 again. The Level 100 Reactive Badge is an important goal that motivates many of us to keep playing Apex Legends every day. Hadn't played the game since 2019 and came back this season, i bought the ultimate pass+ so i could try out all the heroes that came out and see who i like to start buying them out slowly after that and something seemed a bit off to me. I bought a spotlight pass for octane and ultimate + pass i also played a lot so i finished the battle pass right after the Week 3 challenges got released . Only to realize that after finishing it ,all the stars from the challenges you eventually complete while playing pretty much goes to nothing , why ? A lot of battle passes through the years have shifted to an infinite loop system for those who complete the pass, the rewards are usually quite hard to get and small like a few legend tokens and crafting metals per 50 stars maybe where you could loop over and over again. I would understand if you put coins and/or exotic shards that it would cause an issue but i don't see why there aren't in the game, they could even differ from bp tier to bp tier. tldr: once you finish the pass , you have 2-3 small rewards you can indefinitely claim with your spare stars Sorry for the not so relevant tag , couldn't find a more fitting one in this or the discussion thread.Lavahit127 hours agoRising Newcomer9Views0likes0CommentsApex is un-playable and i tell why.
First. I love Apex, IMO it's the best BR/shooting game. I don't play any other game in those categories. But. After 1000 games this season i'm not playing anymore. Why? There's nothing to play for me. Ranked: I reached Diamond IV only solo-Q quite fast. After a lot of hours I've come to conclusion i can't get any further. I have tryed and tryed, this is the limit. Usually people say to this - "keep on training and get better." I'm 37 years old 17k games played since season 0. I'm not getting any better. Quite opposite, i am getting slow. Why this is a problem? Ranked is only game-mode what means to people and there's a point playing it. Now when i'm Diamond IV player it define my matchmaking. My K/D in this season is 0.87. Still in Pubs or event game modes i am in pred/master/diamond lobbies. So you can imagine i'm easy kill to most who comes across me. I'm playing 10-15 games in evening getting 4-8 kills total in those games. No thank you. I don't know if my lifetime K/D 1.27 is affecting my matchmaking. That K/D has come stadily down from season 1 and as i said, i'm not getting any better anymore. There's a bunch people like me in Apex and in other games too. Is there solution? Maybe. Seasons are long and i don't think game makers like the situation where 1/3 of the season is worth of using time. IMO best season was season 19. I reached Master that season. That's not the season when everyone else reached Master too. Season 19 matchmaking was different in ranked. I faced only "same" level players what i am. Do i think i'm worth Master badge as a player, no. But there was something to grind whole season. There's couple options on my mind how to make seasons worth playing longer. First is making Platinum rank harder. Reduce points from kills and placements to make getting Diamond actually effort. I think too many player is reaching Diamond too soon. Second one is increase kill points in Diamond. People are playing super safe in Diamond just to get placement. Many cases there's been 15-17 teams in play after first 3 rings. That means survival is just pure luck, decision making even if making right ones won't bring success. This would allow better players to rise in Diamond faster. I know i'm making things hard to myself only solo-Q but i got no friends anymore at the Apex. All have move on to other games. What I'm trying to get at is that i don't understand which ones are available to me and why , i feel like it should be clearer. Hello, The new Bocek reactive is good, but can you put some fire/red shaders instead of the pink shaders? There's no connection between the terms "red" "fire" "hot" and "barbie pink" colors in the human brain. At all. Barbie pink shaders just don't fit there. Even the "electrified" nature of the skin does not associate with pink shaders. The overall perception of such good skin becomes worse as a result. Not only for me, but for other players as well, when I asked them about their own perception. Would you add some barbie pink like shaders to the Rev or Bloodhound heirloom? I think no, because it would completely ruin the overall look. So, why do you think adding pink shaders to the Hot Shot bocek was a good idea? Yes, some people will like it, yes, many people will equip it. They will be silent but facepalm a bit about these shaders. Somebody should tell you this, so I'm telling you - there's no need to make the reactive red-fire skin look weird. Just make it red, fire like. In the end, make a second version with fire shaders and provide a survey, asking players which one they prefer: with the pink shaders or just with red/fire shaders. I'm very curious to see the results of such a survey! I'm sure the majority of players aren't 10 years old girls playing barbies, we don't need pink shaders on the fire-red-electrified Bocek. Make wattson ult deal damage to enemy team!!! As a wattson main I find it very interesting how when I put my ult down in a building it gets demolished by one drone ult and every single fens i put down for hours inside the building. The only logical solution to make wattson balanced is to make the ult not only heal me and my team but also deal like 10 damage to enemy team because I’ve been in many situations where a crypto drone demolish everything I’ve built and getting full pushed by the enemy team and the only thing I have time too do is too put another ult down that doesn’t even help with countering the pushing team. Making her ult deal damage does not only make it fair for both teams because when crypto can destroy everything I as a wattson should be able too keep my team safe and put my ult down and it gives me time too put some fences down before gettin pushed by a team. It’s very sad how a controller legend is not being able to do what it is supposed too wattson is meant too control and making a buliding safe and she is one of the least powerful controller legends in the game I think she deserves more than just a small buff that repairs windows when she put down the ult! how is that even playable if 6 times in row players leaving lobby before they even drop from ship in pub games in apex and some of them leave instantly when they get downed even that there is a big chance of ressing them, the whole concept of BR ( battle royal ) is not being applied here which is what we signed for when we choose to play that mode instead of ( Gun Run / or / WildCard ) why respawn is not doing anything yet to prevent this it feels so horrible and a waste of time and impossible to solo in trio with all the sweats stacking in pubs and its not even enjoyable to get jumped while you solo because your teammates left for no reason what so ever my entire favorite map both E-District and Olympus has gone without me playing any normal game like every other team surviving to the last ring and enjoying a battle royal as it suppose to be12Views0likes1CommentApex Legends Heirloom!
So I have been playing Apex Legends since the first day of release (on and off). It is currently my favourite game and has been for a while. When I started playing during release, I was fortunate enough to have received Lifeline's heirloom. However, I have rarely ever played Lifeline, including now (I never play her). I am aware that nowadays players can receive 150 heirloom shards from an Apex pack and pick whatever heirloom they want. I am also aware that players can receive heirloom shards every 1/500 Apex packs. However, I am nowhere near the 500 Apex pack mark (might even be the 1,000 mark for me). Back then, this wasn't the case, and as a loyal fan of this game, who has also spent money on the game, I would really appreciate it if you guys can give me 150 heirloom shards in exchange for Lifeline's heirlooms, along with the accessories. I'll even take Revenant's heirloom. We had a couple bad fights because our wraith kept running away, but then the horizon left and it just showed us two. We get into a fight and die (obviously) but it shows -31 instead of 0? Somehow made it d3 this season as a 13x time master. Cant get out of d3 due to going against smurfs and preds that all have cheats. Never seem to get the cheaters on my team either. When I did they told me personally that hell yeah they are cheating. "You have to if you want to hit pred as everyone is doing it". These guys got aim bot, walls hacks, zero recoil you name it. I'll be invisible as crypto and they never laid eyes on me at all and this revenant ignores my other two teammates and goes straight for me where nobody ever see me go while his two teammates delete mine. One dude told me he knew what clone mirage was from 100 meters because he has aim bot so he laughs when he sees a mirage player. The game is unplayable with all this cheating going on. Increase the pred cap and make it so only masters and preds can play with each other. Diamonds only play with plat and diamonds. Idc if the que time is longer. Im sick of tired of this. I stopped playing for a few months and then came back and was ha ing some good fun with the boys again and started to tolerate the new ttk which I hate and then boom all these **bleep** pathetic cheaters ruining all my games. I can't believe I payed 100 bucks for the beam saber heirloom when my gameplay experience is getting ruined anyways. They need to issue permanent bans like marathon does. Increase the pred cap. Most cheaters only cheat because they want to hit pred so eventually they will hit pred so just make it where they only play with each other and masters. Who cares if they have to wait 30m for a game. Let the cheaters wait. Rainbow six siege has like 15k champs. Why not raise the pred cap to allow them to que in to their own little pathetic group of cheater only lobby. May the best cheater win. I dont mind waiting longer if that means I don't have to que in with these weirdos. I'm done with apex until next season. I can definitely see me taking another extended break. Why should I spend money and time on this game if my experience is terrible. I'm getting beamed from miles away by a hemlock or r99. People know exactly where im hiding with no recon character at all. Im getting snapped on and instantly downed in less than 6 hits. What a joke. It's like a infection that cant be cured. Who cares how bad the player base drops. Permanent bans. Don't let them play with diamond players. It ruins my day. My friends are angry. I'll just go back to marvel rivals for now or arc raiders and my single player games. Way less cheating. Way less stress. The Core Problem: Performance vs. Visible Rank Mismatch Passive climbing / Carry dependency: It is too easy to reach and stay in Diamond+ by being carried or through low-impact third-parties, without the mechanical skill, movement, or decision-making expected at that tier. MMR Friction: Matchmaking frequently pairs players with the exact same visible rank (e.g. Diamond IV) but drastically different real skill levels (some playing at a clear Gold/Platinum mechanical level). Low individual accountability: The current system heavily rewards team placement and kills/assists regardless of personal contribution. This creates inconsistent lobbies, frustration for skilled solo players, and devalues the meaning of Ranked badges. 2. Proposed Solution: “Skill-First” Ranked Formula I propose evolving the existing Season 28 RP system by shifting 55-60 % of RP progress toward verifiable individual performance, while keeping the Battle Royale identity intact. New RP Formula: RP Net = [Team Positioning RP] + [(Kills + Assists) × Value per Position × Individual Multiplier] + [Personal Damage Bonus] – [Entry Cost] Key Components: Team Positioning RP: Keep exactly as it is today (+125 for 1st place, +95 for 2nd, etc.). Survival and smart rotations must still be rewarded. Kills + Assists: Keep the current scaling values based on final squad position (higher value in top 5). Honestly Apex matchmaking feels kinda off right now because as a casual player it keeps putting me against people who barely miss shots and play like they’re in a tournament or something. I get that skill-based matchmaking is supposed to make things fair but it doesn’t really feel fair when I’m just trying to chill and improve and I’m getting lasered every fight before I can even react. Apex is pretty much the only game I take somewhat serious, but I’m not grinding 24/7 like those players, so the system should do a better job separating high-level sweats from regular players like me. It just makes the game frustrating instead of fun and thats probably pushing a lot of casual players away, which isnt good for the game long term either. The thing is, this is literally the only game I play. I dont jump between different shooters or grind multiple titles, Apex is it for me. And I actually love this game fr, like I enjoy the movement, the gunplay, the whole vibe of it (missed the lores of characters tho). That’s why it sucks even more when the matchmaking makes it feel like I don’t belong in my own lobbies. I’m trying to get better over time, not get deleted in 2 seconds every fight. I’m not saying remove skill-based matchmaking completely, but it needs to be adjusted so casual players who actually love the game can enjoy it without constantly going up against players that play like pros.
