WTB EU Gamers (And NA I guess too, if you must...)
Here at The Art of Warfare we're all about teamwork and comradery. Right now, our EU side is small, so we need YOU!! dramatic finger point Join us for the most fun you've had in a BF game ever. <3 The NA side is 20+ strong, but could always use more support, so while my focus is currently on EU do not let that stop you. We welcome folks from all over the world and from all walks of life. What do we need from you? - No skill requirements. New and experienced players welcome! - Must be 16+, no exceptions. - Must be able to commit to playing on a set 2 nights a week. (We get it, life happens! Please be willing to submit excusals via our website or by contacting an officer if you can't make it.) For NA, game nights are Sundays and Thursdays @ 9pm EST. For EU, game nights are Sundays and Wednesdays @ 7:30pm BST. - A mic is not required, but highly recommended. - We use TeamSpeak for voice during events (I know, I know) but also have Discord for text-based fun. This is simply due to how our website operates and links to TeamSpeak. Feel free to reply here, DM me, or hit me up on Discord @ TogerFace. I look forward to gaming with you! :D
Players with disabilities discrimination
As a 71-year-old, I had not played Battlefield 2042 for nearly a year. After logging in for the first time, I noticed a significant update, so I left my PC on overnight to complete it. The next day, I was eager to jump back in, only to discover that my custom controller, which works with vjoy and UCR (Universal Control Remapper), was no longer functional. I was furious to learn that EA's anti-cheat update had blocked the game from launching due to these programs. I can already anticipate the dismissive comments, but one thing is clear: they are discriminating against players with disabilities. It's high time for the Americans with Disabilities Act to reconsider the lawsuit. A quick Google search for "Video Game Accessibility: A Legal Approach" will reveal the ongoing issues. Cheaters will always exploit the system, ultimately ruining the experience for genuine players. This is the reality we have always lived in and will continue to face in everything we do. Maybe the prompt should have read, “You can no longer play the game, we have refunded your payment”.
Extremely annoying pop up message
Hold on a second i dont really got the message the first 500 times what was temporal due to some changes of the server? can you please get rid of that crap? each time i want to ban or nerf some weapons we get bombarded with that pop up message each time we redeploy. no battlefield your guns are not balanced so i have to restrict or nerf them mannually no battlefield having the tv missile previously only on attack vehicles available to every single player on foot is not balanced i just want some peace, and my guests too, bitte! edit* btw i dont want it to be removed, i just want it to pop on just once, when you join said server
Secure Boot
I am glad EA has reminded me why I no longer support their company/ brand; the most recent endeavor was attempting to play one of their games. They seem to not care about their customers and have proved it by requiring software programming before playing a game with their new "secure" boot setting. I looked online and it appears to be a 50% chance to brick your PC by enabling this setting, so I just did not risk it. I was actually disappointed, which is crazy considering how little I have come to expect over the years from EA, because I now know I should not even waste my time with the newest battlefield. We all know it will release bugged and with terrible server performance... again, we have all come to expect this from EA, but the reason I won't waste my time is because I don't want a 50% chance of losing my PC. Do better EA, please just listen to us suckers who still pretend that there is a chance to enjoy a Battlefield game.Battlefield 2042 vs battlefield 6 player retention
EA should still work on 2042, there is lot of people who play 2042 and don't like the new game just because 2042 feels more natural. Why not still drop new maps and fix the Op little bird or vehicles in general so they keep newbies and hardcore players at base. I mean they never release good maps for the game and I believe it still have good potential.
Banned for what?
Just want to share this with others fyi i'm not alone. Been watching the new BF6 gameplay videos and thought wow this looks good! and i have also been invited to the 2 day early beta. So i downloaded (yesterday 1-aug)the ea app as i haven't played anything on ea for some time and then re-downloaded BF2042 joined one server in portal played abit quit and said to my self im going to sit on my butt all day tomorrow and play BF2042 ready for next weekends beta with every intention of pre ordering BF6. Its now the next day 2-aug i fired it up and i'm BANNED WTF. status is (copy paste)....."We observed Rule violation in BATTLEFIELD 2042." I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND its not even a suspension.
Add a server browser
DICE, please add a server browser. I cannot find matches in my region(India). I am just stuck on the waiting for players screen and the match never starts or there are only 20-30 players in a match. Please keep in mind this is the case even when crossplay is on. I want to play on EU servers but can’t do it unless a server browser is implemented. Please consider this request as you are already implementing some missing features from previous battlefield’s according to today’s details. Unless a server browser is implemented I cannot play BF2042.
Why can I not link to the correct Amazon account?
The amazon account connected to my EA account is from someone else who isn't alive and I don't have access to that Amazon account because it no longer exists. I went to unlink it and it gave me a warning saying that if I wish to unlink then I would need to wait until some date in 2026 to change it again, I clicked unlink. Now when I click to re-link it hoping that it would allow me to use my own Amazon account it refuses to and gives me a message stating: Linked Accounts Found Your accounts can’t be linked because the EA Account for MY EMAIL was previously linked to the Amazon account for the dead person. An EA Account can only be linked to one Amazon account in its lifetime. For more info, visit help.ea.com That help link is not very helpful so what can I do? How do I open a ticket?
