Crossplay with PC "magic" ruins the game.
EA needs to do something about PC advantage and the cheaters, or, even better, add a console only crossplay option. PS only, i get nothing but bots, Ps and XBox and I go 5 to 1 kd avg. Add Crossplay and we either forget how to play or the advantage is so absurd that I suddenly start missing kills from 10 meters. I'm close to level 400 and you throw in a couple of PC players and the SMG sniping starts, followed by the triple headshots while straffing, not to mention the run, jump, strafe and sniper headshot from a 10x scope while turning. PS and XBox players, let me know, would you like to see a console only crossplay option or am I the only one suffering from the "PC Magic"?Battlefield Hardline on Portal
Please add Battlefield Hardline to Portal. Hardline has some of the best infantry maps in the series, such as Downtown, Bank Job, The Block. Also, unique game modes like Heist, Blood Money. Bringing these to Portal would preserve a game that now has a very small player base while introducing them to the newer games. please bring Hardline to Portal. My friends and I would grind that everyday. That game was a childhood. Thanks for your time.
Please bring back Conquest 64
The merging of the game modes was definetly a "Controversial" change I really want to think this change was not mean to be to drive people away from Battlefield 2042, but that is definetly what actually happend. People who play 128 dont want to play 64 and vise-versa. Please bring back Conquest 64, i played battlefield 6 and i didn´t like it, please let me play on 2042 since conquest 64 was everything i played. i know that this is kind of an old man yelling at a cloud, but im very worried about this matter.

I got banned from 2402. I haven't a clue why. I went to play BF6 and of course there was a stupid slow update that's going to take hours, so I figured I'd try 2042, which I haven't played since maybe last year. After mucking about and getting by butt handed to me in the first 3-4 TDM matches because I couldn't remember my keybinds and the sensitivity was way off what I'm use to in BF6, I had a decent round and finished 3rd place (points, not kills, I was 5th in kills I think) and so I figured I'd close the game and quit while I was doing pretty decent. Closed the game and lo and behold, there's a window saying I was banned for "gameplay enhancement". What the actual eff...?! I can't believe I got banned and I don't even know what for. I don't cheat. I've played on this same computer for years so it's not like I changed something that might trigger a ban, no macros, no new controllers, nothing. My scores aren't good enough and my hit % isn't good enough to even look like I cheat, so I don't understand what I could have done to warrant this. I know nobody here can do a da** thing, and appealing to EA is likely going to be 100% worthless, but I'm just...floored. I've had 2042 since release and have over 3,400 hours in game...and today I got banned. Floored... just unbelievable. I've never been banned in my life from a game. Now I'm worried about my BF6 game. I'm afraid to start it and get a ban message for that one too, I have no clue what's triggering this.
BF2042
BF2042 offers a truly wonderful experience and fantastic content! While I do play a bit of BF6, the experience in BF2042 is far more exciting and enjoyable. Even though active development has officially ended, you can see that the player base is actually growing again recently! You can see lobbies staying full for long periods, especially in Portal mode! I believe this is proof that the game delivers a fantastic, exciting experience! That’s why I’d really appreciate it if you considered things like weapon balancing seasons, paid skins, or—if possible—even new maps! Simply put, I’d love to see updates for small maps continue in BF6, while BF2042 gets updates focused on large-scale maps! Instead of releasing a brand-new BF title, I’d prefer to see continued updates for these two games that highlight the unique characteristics of different eras! Unless there’s a massive leap in graphics technology coming, I don't think a new game is necessary! BF2042 is definitely being re-evaluated! The times have finally caught up to it! I hope development continues with community feedback in mind—like adding UI improvements to BF2042! One request: it would be great if YouTubers and others could easily host custom matches! Something a bit more detailed regarding squad composition—separate from the standard Portal settings—would be nice. Features like a Commander mode or voice chat options (similar to *Delta Force*) would also be fantastic! It would be a huge waste not to keep updating BF2042! I have a feeling the player base is going to keep growing. If possible, I’d love to see updates that add various new items! Thank you for creating BF2042! I absolutely love BF2042! ♡✌

Week after week... Friday night battlefield and weekly modes have been the worst of the worst for what feels like several months with ONE fnb being Breakthrough Mayhem that easily should be a common weekly mode if not permanent. Unlike Chaos which seems to nerf Recon Class, Mayhem has all the bells and whistles and yet we saw it for one night a month ago. Meanwhile we've seen the most boring modes in its place and even worse weekly modes. Who's responsible for choosing this stuff? Do they have a supervisor reviewing their work? Instead of an interns idea of what we want to play for a week (most def not strike team), make a weekly poll in game. not hard, AI could do it in minutes.Locked out of my account due to EA's verification code delivery issue
Hi everyone, I'm posting here after exhausting every support option available to me, hoping someone from EA or the community can point me in the right direction. The Problem I cannot access my EA account despite knowing my correct email and password. The issue is not on my end — EA's email system does not deliver verification codes. What I've Already Done I have spent over 6 hours across multiple support chat sessions trying to resolve this. In that time I have provided agents with: ✅ Correct account email and password ✅ Billing address registered on the account ✅ Last 4 digits of payment card on file ✅ Date of birth ✅ Origin/EA username ✅ Order numbers for recent purchases ✅ Bank slips and payment screenshots ✅ Proof of purchase for Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V Despite all of this, every session has ended with "verification failed" and a suggestion to "try again in a new chat." No agent has been able to escalate my case to Tier 2. The Catch-22 My dynamic IP (Vodafone Ireland) changes every 2-3 days, which the verification script appears to treat as suspicious. However, every login in my account history originates from the same provider — only the IP address itself changes, which is completely normal for any home broadband user. EA's own email delivery failure is what's blocking verification — this is not something I caused or can fix. What I'm Looking For Has anyone else experienced this email delivery issue? Has anyone successfully gotten manual account verification done by a Tier 2 agent? Is there any direct contact route that bypasses the standard chat script? I'm not asking for anything unreasonable — I just want access to an account I've owned for 15+ years and games I paid for. Hello EA Support, I am experiencing an issue with Battlefield 2042 entitlements on my EA account. Here are the details: - I originally purchased Battlefield 2042 Standard Edition on Epic Games. - My Epic Games account has always been linked to my EA account, and the game works normally. - Recently, I purchased Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition on Steam because it was offered at a much lower price than the Elite Upgrade. - My Steam account is linked to the same EA account as my Epic Games account. I have verified this multiple times. - When I launch the game from Steam, it opens the same EA account without asking me to log in. In the EA App, under Battlefield 2042, I can see a new add-on called Elite, and it is clearly labeled as Steam, which indicates that the entitlement has been added to my EA account. However, when I launch the game, none of the Elite Edition content is available. I do not receive any of the Elite Edition rewards or bonuses. I have already tried the following: - Launching the game directly from Steam. - Verifying the game files on Steam. - Clearing the EA App cache. - Confirming that both Steam and Epic are linked to the same EA account. - Restarting both Steam and the EA App. Despite all of this, the Elite Edition content is still missing in-game. Could you please check whether my Elite Edition entitlement has been correctly activated on my EA account and synchronize or refresh the entitlements if necessary? Thank you for your assistance.
DICE !!!! Separate 128 player and 64 player mode !!!!
Please consider separating the 64-player and 128-player Conquest playlists again in Battlefield 2042. Ever since the playlists were merged, many players have lost the ability to consistently play the experience they actually enjoy. Some players prefer the large-scale chaos and epic battles of 128 players, while others prefer the more tactical and focused gameplay of 64 players. Both experiences have their own unique identity, and forcing them into a single playlist reduces player choice and overall enjoyment. Battlefield has always been about offering different ways to play, and giving players the freedom to choose between 64 and 128-player modes would greatly improve the experience. With Battlefield 6 on the horizon, please don't forget the dedicated Battlefield 2042 community that still actively plays and supports the game. Bringing back separate playlists for 64 and 128 players would be a highly appreciated quality-of-life change. I have been trying to level up some weapons and now that lobbies are dead I was wondering if Dice would change the game play, such as allowing in solo/co-op modes to level weapons, so that faithful players like myself would be able to continue our progression in game. I bought Battlefield 6 and I played all the way to season 2 unfortunately the game play is not the same and I feel 2042 has better skins as well. But that's just my personal opinion.How to fix: The problem of bots counting in the leaderboards
Hello again, Today i am here to talk to you about the problems that brings allowing the bots to count for the leaderboard. For those who are not aware how bad it is, here is the battletracker leaderboard Leaderboard -kills The numer one player has over 6 million bot kills and that placed him in the number one position worldwide, Even though i am aware that the people who care about their position on the leaderboards are not a mayority, it is still important to have a well regulated game so people who hate fairness dont have the tools to exploit the bots to get a high position on the leaderboards So now, i am going to explain how to fix this conondrum But first i have to explain the current XP sytems employed on Battlefield 2042 Full - No restrictions in any way (Killing bots in oficial matchaking counts for T1 by example) Moderate - Progess up to 360 kills, regardless of if you kill players or bots, ribbons on. Restricted- Up to 300 xp per minute. no ribbons or gun progression at all. That whole thing, kind of sucks, and dont go around thinking "Oh well just put restricted so people wont exploit bots to get into the leaderboards", and well, that does work, but people still exploited restricted XP servers, as seen on the report that me, myself exposed it nine months ago Restricted xp is used for xp exploiting Bots giving any kind of progession has to go, i know this could sound as an extremely hot or wrong take but let me explain what im trying to suggest. Instead of having the previous xp systems; Full, Moderate and Restricted, i offer: For the official matchmaking (What it was Full): Bots dont give xp or weapon progress but people can get T1 killing actual players and Recieve ribbons, kills count for the leaderboards. For portal games, Implement a detection system that triggers once the portal server reach half its capacity for the ribbons to be activated, this check could be made on the pre-game lobby, But, players can still get T1 gun progression as long they kill players, For Portal games that use the custom setting, yeah, that is restricted, not even like the previous Restricted that gives you 300 xp per minute, this one will not give you any xp nor progression, Servers with a custom logic are only for the love of the game, since, it was exploited in the past. If EA implement this, The leaderboars will restore their integrity, the current one just put in the number one the person who get the best method to exploit the sytem. Having the option to have weapons and vehicles from different eras would be a breeding ground for creative experiences (Especially because vehicles from different eras are fun, but they end up feeling off when people are used to the core mechanics from BF2042) Thanks for the update and the new additions But portal and hazard zone are also part of the game and need to have some kind of support. i know you guys are planing on releasing a new battlefield each year from now on but you have to take care of your fan-base. happy players are more likely going to spend money on a product that they feel is good. please let us look at portal and say "damm thats cool". xoxoPlease fix your game
Since day one the game has been a disapointment, Starting with the introduction of the recicled operators from the abandoned battle royale development (The whole project should have been scratched and started from zero), to the endless bugs plaging not only the oficial modes, but the portal experiences as well. At least I am not expecting you to deliver what you promissed with the trailers and the overall expectations of a (in-brand) battlefield game, what i am expecting is the bare minimum, Make efforts to make sure that the content you deliver has the least ammount of bugs as possible, the whole admin tools on portal are depending on if the game feels like working at that time. i like this game (Thats probably the stockholm syndrom talking) and i will probably keep playing it, so please, do not abandon the people that does not abandon you.Worst Game Ever Made
Wow EA, could your standards be any lower? I went way over what I normally play this week just to collect some numbers. I played 70 matches this week. I won 2 of those matches. If it isn't other players who either cheat or putting level 500+ with level 90, which seems completely fair, I am losing or can't play because on console this game is nothing but glitches. The AI regularly spawns 5-7 enemies on top of me. When I put my crosshairs on an enemy and unload 7-10 rounds into him I seemingly hit nothing. EA is one of the most corrupt companies that has ever existed and I have half a mind to file a fraud report with the FBI for this. I paid money to play a game casually and I am thrown in with people who have done nothing but play BF6 24/7 since it was released. EA did that intentionally which defrauded me of my money. Then there are the glitches. Half of the matches I try to enter I don't know which class or weapon to pick because instead of showing me the map I get an entire screen of background camouflage. The AI characters regularly spawn right on top of me, throw tons of smoke grenades and then proceed to pick off me and my team through the smoke. The AI can see me through the smoke, but I can't see them. If I do get away the AI just shoots me through a wall. I will try to pick the proper weapon for the game I am joining and the game just won't give me the gun or load out I pick. It chooses one of my previous load outs to randomly give me. If all this wasn't bad enough I play every match with people who have wall hacks and aim bots and EA could not care less. Then, I try to post on forums about my problems and every one of my posts has been removed because apparently we are not allowed to speak poorly of EA. The EA company and its workers are our gods if you all were not aware. When I am in matches I see many players with racist character names and once again, EA does nothing. EA doesn't care. EA is a company that wants to fleece all of us for as much money as it can get. Sadly I bought this game, but I will never buy another EA title again. If all of you are smart you will never purchase from EA again either. This is the first game I have ever played that is so impossible and has taken enough time from me that I can never get back that I actually, for the first time in my life, want to delete myself. Good job EA. You are a company of real winners. I am going to go and actually do something with my time that is worth while because playing an EA game is certainly not.
