Steam account permanently locked to hacked EA account (email changed, no access)
Hello everyone, I’m posting here to seek guidance, not an unban. My EA account was compromised some time ago. The attacker changed the email address and I completely lost access to the EA account. I later managed to recover my Steam account, but unfortunately my Steam account is still linked to the compromised EA account. When I try to link my Steam account to a new EA account, I get a message saying that my Steam account is already linked to an EA account with an unfamiliar email address (@radyeramail.ru, see screenshot). This is clearly not my email. The EA account that my Steam is linked to is now banned, and I am not requesting an unban. I am only asking how to get my Steam account unlinked from an EA account that I no longer control due to hacking. I have already contacted EA Support, but I’m posting here to ask if anyone has experienced a similar situation and what worked for them (case type, wording, or escalation path). Any constructive guidance would be appreciated.
Unable to Appeal Ban or Change Email, No Help from Live Support
In December 13th at approximately 2:30 PM (local time), my Battlefield 6 account was wrongfully banned. I want to clearly state that I have never used any cheats, hacks, or unauthorized third-party software. The only reason I use a network accelerator (commonly referred to as a VPN) is due to severe network connectivity issues in my region—this is solely to achieve a playable and stable online experience, not to gain any unfair advantage. When I tried to submit an appeal, the EA support system told me I couldn’t create a support case. After discussing this with other players, I learned that this issue might be related to my email address ending in @163.com. It appears that EA may have flagged or even blocked accounts using such email domains as “high-risk,” which prevents users from opening support tickets. I immediately tried to change my account’s email address to a @gmail.com address, but the website wouldn’t allow me to do so. Over the past few days, I’ve contacted EA Live Chat support multiple times using a secondary account, but every agent has refused to assist me, citing only “security reasons” without offering any further explanation or solution. I want to emphasize that I fully own and control this account. I have complete access to the registered @163.com email inbox and can provide any reasonable verification requested—such as purchase receipts, account creation details, or login history—to prove my identity and legitimate ownership. This is the first time I’ve ever pre-ordered a Battlefield game—and in fact, the first EA title I’ve ever pre-ordered. As a student, I’ve invested all of my limited weekend time and what little allowance I have into this game. Now, EA is telling me that my account—originally registered back in 2023—has no right to appeal a ban, simply because of the email provider I used when signing up. In summary: To appeal, I need to switch to an email domain that EA doesn’t block—but I can’t change it through the website, and live support refuses to help, hiding behind vague “security
Compromised Email
Okay, so I made an email about 24 years ago, and used that email for my EA account back in 2012. That email was compromised by scammers demanding I send them money. Unfortunately the email password is the same as the EA account password since I usually do things in pairs. One email for one thing. I tried to change the email for my EA account but they want to send an email to the guy that took my email account and changed it all. So I tried to change my password at least and yep. EA wants to email the guy that has my account. So I went to add a phone number so I can try protect my EA account that way and wouldn't you know it? They want to email the hacker. So what do I do if I can't change any information on my EA account? Do I just give it up and lose all my games to the other guy? I want a complete wipe. New email, new password, my phone number added for protection, and everything else I can do to protect my account. The EA help page was completely useless as they find it mandatory I fill in every space even if it's not applicable. I want an email or some sort of direct contact with EA guys to help protect what I'll probably lose anyway. I took a list of all the games I own(ed) and all the information currently so I'm ready with it. I can't even un-link my other accounts from my EA account without EA trying to email the hacker. I'm really frustrated.
Account issue
My account has been banned for several months, and I have been appealing but it has not been approved. I am a green player, and my record shows that my skills are ordinary. But my account was permanently banned without a reasonable explanation. This account has many achievements of my hard work, so I cherish it very much and also enjoy the fun of fighting with my account. But you deprived me of my account without giving me a reasonable explanation. I keep sending you emails explaining my requests, but you keep ignoring me. I saw in my APEX battle record today that I used Undead login five days ago and achieved 97 kills When the victory of the event was 10 and the damage was 69.4K, I knew that I was indeed wrongly accused because this damage was the total amount of damage I had caused during my years of playing. And I haven't been able to log in to my game account for the past few months. Now I just want my account back to continue accompanying me, and I hope you can catch the real culprit and eliminate the harm for the people!
EA live chat bad service
i went onto the live chat to report that i paid for sims 4 deluxe upgrade with 3 add ons not only were they un helpfull after me sending 12 screen shots as proof they keeped transfering me through to diffrent people after 23 chats in 4 hours still not resolved they couldnt care less is the point i have paid and dont have the game ps you wont find any uk workers on live chat all non uk people who couldnt care less
