What are Clubs? Clubs are asynchronous, custom multiplayer events with no limit on how many players can compete. Instead of driving in real-time against your friends, you take on events whenever you please, and at the end of each event your times are placed on the Club Leaderboard. Players only get a single attempt at each stage in an event, and have to choose between a safe and cautious approach to stages, or a fast and risky one. If you played DiRT Rally or DiRT Rally 2.0 you may be familiar with Clubs already, and F1® 23 players may have used a similar feature called Leagues. Clubs are a great way to compete against friends in different timezones, or to take part in and organise competitive events with your communities. https://www.ea.com/games/ea-sports-wrc/wrc/news/ea-anticheat "EA anticheat is a kernel-mode anti-cheat and anti-tamper solution developed in-house at Electronic Arts." In normal person terms, kernel level means giving the game the right to do whatever it wants to do to your computer at any time, without requiring your confirmation or consent. This was not something that PC players agreed to on the games launch and should not be tolerated as an acceptable solution to some leaderboard issues that don't affect the core gameplay. EDIT: Original thread title was "Warning: PC players about to be forced to install a kernel-level program". The change has been made to reflect a bug reports thread now being part of this one.OTT29 months agoRising Scout7.4KViews25likes58CommentsEA SPORTS™ WRC - Patch 1.4.0 Discussion Thread
