Dear EA SPORTS/FC MOBILE team, First, I would like to sincerely thank you for your continuous efforts in developing FC Mobile, which provides us with an enjoyable and unique football experience on mobile devices. In this thread, I am sharing a set of feedback and suggestions that I hope will help improve the game, whether in gameplay, challenges, or in-game events. My goal is to provide constructive feedback that reflects the players needs and passion for the game, and I hope you find these ideas useful for future updates: 1. Career Mode /Game Updates /Events /Home screen and Songs. 🎮 • We want a Career Mode (if possible). • More Game updates, organized updates. • Change home screen, with good effects, colors and decorations. • Bring back the old nostalgia songs. • More big events, designed like the previous user-favorite events from past years, not repetitive events, and also more heroes/icons Events. • Perfectly organized big events with rewards and excitement (VSA/H2H). • RESETS (VERY IMPORTANT⚠️) 2. Packs, Rewards & Economy. 🎁 • Better and longer star pass • More packs for all players. • More redeem codes. Free packs sometimes on the webstore. • More free packs and free gifts. • Increase luck in packs, so players have a fair chance of getting high OVR cards (division rivals rewards also). • Easier exchanges and more quests. • More icons and heroes. • Add coaches (if possible). • Free high OVR players for active users in events. • More gems packs to balance the game economy. • Better gifts in Kick Off. • More free gems, and coins sources. • Free cards of Messi and Ronaldo in some events [like ballon d'or event]. • Better Division Rivals rewards to motivate players. • The referee must not whistle during an attack or counter attack until the ball goes out of play. 3. Player & Gameplay Improvements. 📲 • Better stats for Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi's cards should be 5 stars in stamina, his dribbling and passing should be the highest in the game because he is The best dribbler and the best passer in the history of football, while Cristiano Ronaldo cards should be high in shooting and speed because he is one of the fastest players ever with high shoot abilities and also physicality. • More cards for Messi and Ronaldo. • Better/New skill games. • Add penaltys shootouts mode in division rivals. • Improve goalkeeper movements (FAST REFLEXES). • New skill moves. • Add training zone to try free kicks, penaltys, corners... • Add real wall (real players) in skill games and the new training zone: instead of the plastic wall, make players instead. • When the opponent is disconnected, instead of playing against the AI or the bot, it is better to count a 3-0 win in my favor without wasting time. • Make the game Play-to-Win, not Pay-to-Win. • Try to reduce prices of high OVR players in the Market. 4. Graphics, Stadiums, Commentary & Realism. 🕹 • We want a training area where players can practice penalties, free kicks, corner kicks and more... (Necessary⚠️) • Improve graphics. • Replay goals, attempts, tackles, etc., new replay cameras in new and different angles, with goal Technology like (HypermotionV technology) but simple with a good slow-motion. • Raining 🌧 and snowing Stadiums. (The rain is Necessary). • More stadiums and add stadium personalization. • More realistic crowds, better fan chants, and loud crowds. • Try to prevent playing a weak team against a strong team unfairly. • Better and more realistic commentary during matches. • New celebrations, including bench players celebrating (Team celebrations), comeback goal and last minute winning goal celebrations, not celebrating when losing, increase extra time (+...) and show the minutes of extra time like 95:00, coach celebrations, choosing celebrations... • Better players reactions and movements after the end of the match (sad,happy..), Better end, and change the referees whistle. • Realistic/Better/ high quality outside the field. • Better effects after the goal like fire or stadium songs..., better looking/different score. • Better stadium sounds, announcements... • Add player emotions to increase realism. • Add referee mouvements and his conversation with the players (realistic and better graphics). • Add extra time 15min/15min and penaltys in H2H and manager mode (No draws). • a Time Between the first half and the second Half to change players (substitutions) and formations maybe... • Add in VSA: Opportunities to defend. • You Need to add the man of the match and the players stats and ratings. And the match's all stats. • In the details of each player card I own, it would be better if it included additional information, ideally: number of goals, assists, matches, and more. For example, I bought a player from the market and he scored a goal and made an assist in his first match. When I go to view the player's stats, I see: Matches: 1 Goals: 1 Assists: 1 • More profile kits/Logos/Stickers/Balls/Shoes... (locker room), better league rewards. • I would love to see Legend/Throwback/flashback player cards like Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United 2008 or Lionel Messi from Barcelona 2014/2015. It would be awesome if their hairstyles, kits, stats and other details were updated to match that time in the game! 5. Community Engagement. 🏅 • Always listen to users suggestions and feedbacks, fix their problems, technical issues, bugs and more. The Game Is Nothing Without The Community Our goal is to make EA SPORTS FC Mobile a perfect game for all players. This game can only grow stronger when developers and players move forward together. We hope you will consider our feedback seriously and implement these changes to improve the experience for everyone, you can do all this gradually, doing the most common Subjects first. I am immensely disappointed by this update, after watching the live stream, I've noticed that there are no TOTY packs where you pay gems to get players. You have also removed the shard system which is just disappointing. You all need to think about F2P players, literally 80% percent of your game are played by F2P's, by removing these systems, you are affecting YOUR own player count of YOUR own game.. I wouldn't be surprised if the people that play your game move to EFootball or something. It would be appreciated by the entirety of the FC Mobile community if you've made some changes. Hello EA, in the latest version, the strength of the AI teams has been increased to a degree that is hard to imagine. They possess extremely powerful reaction speeds, making it very difficult for players to get through them, and all fancy moves are rendered meaningless in front of them. This has resulted in ordinary players like myself struggling to obtain rewards in missions. Dear EA SPORTS FC Mobile Team, You better read this all and undertand, don't skip this post, I’m writing to you on behalf of a large portion of the FC Mobile player base, including content creators, competitive grinders, and everyday players, to highlight major issues currently affecting the game and to request urgent improvements that would restore trust, fairness, and enjoyment in the community. 🗣️ 1. Community Backlash on TOTY (Team of the Year) Event The recent TOTY campaign has sparked a viral backlash across social media platforms and forums. Due to several serious concerns: • The new Draft system no longer guarantees TOTY items — unlike before, where 3,000 gems would always reward an event player. Now it’s random and unfriendly to most players. • High-end TOTY cards are extremely difficult or nearly impossible to obtain without heavy luck or too much spending. • The league and store reward structure is unbalanced (no diversity of rewards and not a high jumber of packs in store), with significant gaps and fewer meaningful rewards. • There is widespread frustration with the lack of tradable packs, removed gem packs, and a dead in-game market — all of which were core parts of earlier, more balanced events. This resolted in a strong social movement and using hashtags like "FixFCMobileTOTY". ⚠️ 2. Impact on Player Experience Many long-term players — including free-to-play (F2P) and pay-to-win (P2W) — feel the latest update has degraded the game’s core value and fairness. The removal of classic systems like the shard method and the shift toward a near-pure luck focus has made progression feel less rewarding and more exploitative. We believe this reduces the time and energy players invest in the game, and threatens the longevity of the FC Mobile community. 📌 3. Creator & Influencer Concerns Content creators — some reaching millions of followers — are also publicly calling for changes and solidarity among the community. Many have voiced their disappointment with the current mechanics and have requested stronger communication from your team. 🙏 4. Our Requests (What the Community Wants) To address these concerns and rebuild player confidence, we respectfully propose the following: -Return a fair system of guaranteed event items (like the old shard or gem pack system). -Re-introduce valuable gem & store packs to support market health. -Improve the balance and rewards of the Draft system so that effort and dedication are genuinely rewarded. -Enhance communication and update transparency — let players know when changes are coming and why they’re happening. -Consider re-evaluating league and token rewards so progression feels meaningful again. 🧠 Thoughts We love FC Mobile and want to continue supporting and celebrating it. The core issue is not the passion of the players — it’s about preserving the integrity of the game’s economy and reward systems, and making every player feel respected and heard. Below is a clear summary of the main problems and suggestions collected directly from FC Mobile players worldwide: 1️⃣ Leagues - League rewards and tokens are very weak compared to the effort required. - Activity points are too low, making leagues feel unrewarding and inactive. - League participation no longer feels meaningful or motivating. 2️⃣ Exchanges - Exchange rewards are unfair and unbalanced. - Exchanging a 113-115 player card for a 5 phase token is unfair. - Exchanges do not respect the time and grind players invest. 3️⃣ Extra-Time Section - Very limited number of packs. - Lack of meaningful free rewards. - Extra-Time feels empty and underdeveloped. 4️⃣ Redeem Codes - Too few redeem codes overall. - Community expects more frequent and valuable codes, especially during big events like TOTY. 5️⃣ Star Pass - Rewards quality is poor compared to previous seasons. - Star Pass duration is too short. - Progression feels rushed and not worth the effort. 6️⃣ Quests & Tasks - Not enough daily or event quests. - Kick-Off tasks are missing, which removes an important gameplay loop. - Rewards are extremely low (for example: only 6 TOTY tokens in daily tasks). - Quests do not feel exciting or rewarding. 7️⃣ Store - Very limited gem packs. - Lack of free packs. - No diversity in pack options. -Very few “A Nation’s Story” Japan tokens packs available. -No option to exchange previous event tokens into current event tokens. - Not Good April Fool packs. - No sources of gems and coins. 8️⃣ Web Store - Very few free packs. - Overall lack of packs and offers compared to expectations. - Web Store feels underutilized. 9️⃣ Daily Login Rewards - Rewards are not helpful or impactful. -Daily login should feel exciting, but currently feels useless some people say that the game better remove daily login rewards, because of useless rewards. 🔟 Draft System -Very limited number of player cards available most importantly is Pool A players and unfair number of drafts to get a garenteed Poll A player. - Extremely low chances of getting good players. - Overall system feels unrewarding and based on bad luck. - No free Kick-Off drafts for old players. 1️⃣1️⃣ Challenge Mode - No diversity in challenges. - Same repetitive content with no innovation or creativity. 1️⃣2️⃣ Events System - TOTY26 event is widely considered one of the worst events ever released. - UEFA Primetime event also lacks depth and good rewards. - Event structure feels empty, repetitive, and unrewarding. 1️⃣3️⃣ Gameplay - Gameplay feels unfair and inconsistent. - No noticeable gameplay improvements. - Missing immersion features such as: More realistic crowds. Hello EA FC Mobile Team, Evil Larry is here, The Team of the Year (TOTY) event is, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, and I would like to explain why. ⚠️This letter focuses only on the Draft System in both TOTY26 Draft and Kick-Off Draft. 1) Almost all draft player cards are untradable. Solution: Make all draft players tradable, or introduce a mixed system with a high chance of obtaining a tradable player. 2) Spending 3,000 gems for one draft is too expensive considering that most 108+ players have weak traits, stats, work rates, and occasionally poor weak foot. Solution: One draft should cost 1,500–2,250 gems max, with improved stats (e.g., passing for ST), position-appropriate workrates (high attack for forwards and CAM, CM, LM, RM and also RB and LB, high defense for defenders and CDMs), more traits (5+), and better weak foot stars. 3) While 10 drafts for a guaranteed untradable Pool B card is acceptable, Pool A is terrible—spending 300,000 gems or 20,000 FC points for 100 drafts to get a 116–117 OVR card is unreasonable. Additionally, Pool A and B have very few 115+ cards, lack positional diversity, and offer fewer high-ranking players compared to other events. Solution: Include even more tradable players as suggested earlier, increase the total number of cards, reduce the number of drafts needed for a Pool A card, raise the number of high OVR cards (115+), and ensure better diversity of positions. 4) I think the refresh system for Pool A and Pool B drafts is poorly designed, especially when players obtain non-guaranteed Pool A or B cards. Solution: No draft refresh until a guaranteed card is obtained. 5) The probability of obtaining a high OVR card is extremely low (e.g., 0.33% for a Pool A card in TOTY26 Draft and 0.25% in Welcome Draft). Additionally, the number of guaranteed coins in the draft is very low. Solution: Slightly increase the probability of obtaining high OVR cards and provide a medium to high number of guaranteed coins. 6) Long-time players cannot receive Kick-Off free rewards or free drafts. Why is this the case? Solution: Old users must always be allowed to claim the new Kick-Off rewards for free. 7) There are no high OVR goalkeepers available in the draft. Solution: Include high OVR goalkeepers in the draft. 8) There are very few sources to obtain drafts in the game (Not enough ways to get drafts). Solution: Increase the number of draft sources, and make drafts easier to obtain (rewards, gifts, and daily rewards...). “Draft System – Evil Larry Rating: 5/10 (Poor performance, needs major improvements, not good for F2P users). It’s becoming increasingly disappointing to see the direction EA and FC Mobile are taking. Recent updates—starting with Drafts and now locking top players behind another system like Boxes—don’t feel like meaningful improvements to gameplay. Instead, they feel like additional paywalls layered onto the experience. What’s most frustrating is that this direction seems disconnected from the reality of your own community. A large portion of the player base is free-to-play. Not everyone can afford to spend money every time a new system is introduced. When progression and competitiveness are repeatedly tied to purchases, it slowly pushes loyal players away. Most of us understand that monetization is necessary to keep the game running and evolving. But right now, the balance feels off. Accessible rewards are becoming fewer, gems are limited, and the options to compete or progress without spending are shrinking. This makes the game feel less rewarding and more discouraging over time. As a player who genuinely enjoys FC Mobile and wants it to succeed long term, this is concerning. The current approach risks damaging trust and creating the impression that revenue is being prioritized over player experience. This new system in FC Mobile is trash. You keep saying you “hear the players,” but your actions say otherwise. Why was the shard system replaced with the draft system? The shard system was fair. Everyone had to grind hard to earn rewards. Effort mattered. Progress made sense. The new draft system feels like a fat-cat idea designed purely to drain every possible resource from players. Let’s be honest you want more money. Fine. You’ve already been doing that, and everyone knows it. But this draft system crosses the line. At first, I tolerated it. I adapted. Now it just feels like you’re spitting in the face of players who simply want to enjoy the game. It’s not cool. It’s not fair. And it’s killing what made the game fun in the first place. Players are getting tired. I’m tired. And the worst part? You probably don’t even realize the damage you’re doing. When players see nonsense, they talk. They tell their friends. Their friends tell others. That’s how games die. Just yesterday, a friend saw me playing before he deleted the game. He asked to try it. He played for a few minutes, couldn’t find any authenticity or enjoyment, handed my phone back, and lost interest instantly. That’s a potential player gone, just like that. Don’t fool yourselves into thinking download numbers guarantee success or recommendations. That’s a lie. If this were my first time trying the game, I would lose interest quickly and delete it. The current experience is simply stupid. I’ve already deleted FC Mobile from my phone and I’m moving on to eFootball. And one more thing, I saw your recent “high OVR without rank-up” event meant to attract players. I was almost fooled. Almost. That tactic is pathetic. Bring back fairness or at least the sheer-respect of your customers, bring back fun. Hi EA Team, I really enjoy the game so far, but there’s one thing that feels quite unbalanced for new players... The only consistent way to get rank-up points right now is by playing Scouting Camp. It’s only H2H — no VSA or Manager Mode — and I’ve only been playing for a month. This means I have to play H2H manually against much more experienced players. This seems unfair for new players. I’m still learning how to dribble manually. Even with great players like Iniesta or Hazard, I’m still struggling — and I have to play against those guys who make Maguire look like prime Messi when dribbling. Another way to get rank-up points is by exchanging players, which only gives us 200 per week. That’s literally it. Please add more ways to earn rank-up points. Zlatan and Beckham Chronicles are great examples — those events gave plenty of rank-up points. But even those two are old events. Maybe match rewards should include rank-up points or club challenge, or something. Because right now, as a new player, it’s really hard to earn rank-up points. Hi, Not sure whether EA will actually comment on this, but I am getting very, very frustrated with the draft system. I'll try to elaborate my thoughts clearly, hoping for a serious reply. I'll explain on my luck, why this is quite extreme, and how this impacts my in-game experience, and then I'll go into the 26 Phase 2 token system and the ability to grind for players I actually like or want. I appreciate my post is very lengthy, but I've been thorough - so please bear with me. My luck: I have by now spent 250 draft tokens; 100 for attacker, 100 for midfielder, 50 for defender. My total score: the 100th draft token gave me 117 Zico, the 200th draft token gave me 116 Rice. I have some 113-115 players, but that's it. It is extremely frustrating that I only get the pack A on the 100th attempt, while in my league I hear and observe plenty of cases of people getting far more 116-117. It just feels very unfair, and it also means that opponents I face in Division Rivals benefit from having players that I simply cannot obtain. And I have to admit that getting a 116 on the 200th attempt also really did not help. To spend 250 draft tokens, I have used a large amount of gems I had saved up, plus FP (no hate please - EA must have some income - surely I am not the biggest spender, but most definitely I am not the smallest one either). Previously I could decide to use my gems on a pack that would guarantee shards, such as the festive fixtures 113-115 pack that guarantees 120 shards, and alternatively might even give me the highest OVR player at that time. This pack would cost 22.5k gems. For 30k gems I now get 10 draft tokens, which typically gives me 1 or 2 113-115 players while the max OVR now is 117. This feels quite a bit worse off. Now to confirm that my luck is in fact horrible, I've ran a simulation using the probabilities of 2% for pack A, 18% for pack B, and 80% for pack C for a normal pull. Then whenever I would reach the 10th pull without getting B or A, I have used 98% probability for B and 2% for A. I would expect this to be 90%-10%, as it is guaranteed pack B or higher which has a split of 18%-2% for a normal pull, so 90%-10% is the same ratio. But let me assume 98%-2% in an attempt to make my luck seem less extreme. Every 100th pull gives me A. Just on gut feel: as every pull has a 2% probability of A, I would expect that in 250 pulls you should get about 5 packs A as an expected value, and 2 is the absolute minimum. I've simulated using 250 draft tokens 500,000 times. The result I get is that the likelihood of getting exactly 2 packs A is 2.3%. The expected number is (the total number of times I get A over 500,000 * 250 pulls divided by 500,000) 5.56 packs A. The probability of getting exactly 5 packs A is 21.4%, just as comparison. If I change the probability for getting pack A on a 10th pull without at least pack B to 10% rather than 2%, the numbers become 1.2% probability for exactly 2 times pack A, 6.12 for the expected number of packs A, and getting 5 and getting 6 packs A now both have a probability of over 19%, to give a comparison against the 2 packs at 1.2%. So yeah, I do feel I am quite extremely unlucky here. And it's just plain unfair that some people joyfully tell me that in 3 pulls they get 2 117s, while I just have to keep spending. It's such a joy killer. The game is far less fun thanks to this. That also brings me to my next point. 26 Phase 2 token system vs. shards What you can do with the players that are basically useless for building your team, has been incredibly affected in this 26 Phase 2 token system compared to shards. You need 900 tokens for a 117 (current max OVR). For a player in the 113-115 OVR range, that's 2 to 4 OVR points lower than maximum, I can get 5 tokens. This means I will need 180 113-115 tokens for 1 117. With shards, a player 2 lower than the maximum OVR gave me 120 shards, and a maximum OVR player cost 800-2,000 shards (except the Captains event with its 4,000 shards). Out of me griding the game and using my 250 draft tokens, I can convert 59 113-115 players, including the Star Pass Eto'o. That's 295 tokens, while 900 are required. With the shard system, my play has always been to only go for maximum OVR players. A max OVR-1 player felt like a waste of rank up tokens, because once the OVRs increase by 2, they are the first you need to kick out to boost the team OVR. Additionally, I could decide which players I would really like to have, and I could typically pick 3 to 5 max OVR players using shards. Getting a 117 is just far too costly in this system. You can still choose them like with the shards (pick the right exchange, and then choose the player you want from the options - so in fact this is the exact same principle as with shards using a more confusing GUI), but it's near impossible to do an exchange within this event without excessive spending of money (which is also very much a theme with those boxes that come every week - but that aside). Conclusion I am not saying we have to revert to shards, but I feel that in this new system the element of 'luck' has become even far more important, moderate spending of real money is not sufficiently rewarded, and the option to really enjoy building your team as a consequence is severely hampered. I'm keen to get some feedback on my thoughts from EA, and sincerely hope to be getting some. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts. In the meantime, I am seriously considering to just stop playing, as the fun is basically over for me and the level of frustration (also because of the gameplay, but maybe more on that another time) is just far too high. Dear Ea, I would humbly request a change in the ultimate captain armband cost from 4k shards to 2k shards, this is for most of the users because we can mostly grind up to 2,000 shards. This can be proven in the TOTS Ragnarok events and more. Personally, I feel like 2,000 shards to 4,000 shards is a massive jump, don't forget that those players aren't available in the market nor in packs in the store. If you are going to keep the cost, please make increase in cost when we exchange the player into shards and add them to packs. If you don't do at least 1 or 2 of these options, you could lose potentially lots of players, due to them deleting the game. I hope this comes to your attention.
