Franchise Mode isn’t ready.
There’s a lot of issues I’ve seen from franchise mode. Hope it’s fixed before full launch on August 12th. 1. Coaching Abilities (player development) some don’t work. Would advise to check on each ability again to ensure it works. I tried using my additional focus player abilities (I unlocked tier 2 of the focus player trainer thing) but it didn’t active or give me 5 player to train during weekly gameplan 2. Some rookies faces need to be fixed. Like Will Johnson’s picture is not Will Johnson from Michigan but rather a different Will Johnson. Fix those please. 3. Acceleration Clock in H2H after a no huddle needs to be back. There’s no reason why time shouldn’t be wasted when someone calls a no-huddle. They need to be penalized accordingly based on the distance of the Oline to the new acquired LOS (line of scrimmage) 4. Patch or increase the realism in Competitive and Simulation Modes. There’s too much player gliding. There’s no feel of player actually cutting on grass. There’s no weight to a user/cpu input. Playing the game should feel DIFFERENT or MORE CHALLENGING than CFB. I don’t know if what I’m saying makes sense but you can’t FEEL the game. It’s plays too arcady and instead of being more simulation football6 Minute Quarters in Superstar Mode
If you change the quarter length in Superstar mode to 15 minutes (an NFL regulation quarter), then play an actual game it reverts back to 6 minute quarters. The settings will show that you changed to 15 minute quarters but when you launch a game you can’t play anything beyond a 6 minute quarter. I can’t believe this bug got passed testing. Getting the length of a regulation game in a football simulation seems like it would be kinda basic. I’m embarrassed that I paid $140 for a football simulation that can’t get the basic length of a regulation game correct. I find it baffling nobody would catch this.All the bugs I’ve encountered on Day 1
I have 11 hours in the game so far and here’s a list of bugs I’ve encountered/small fixes • QB Lob Passing on Redzone WR drill • Game Crashes when creating a new coach in Franchise after hitting “retire” Button • Very slow loading times when clicking on player card in Franchise • 2 Way stats for Travis Hunter not recording I personally think this game has lots of potential but these are some bugs I’ve noticed on day 1.Linemen body proportion regression
We can no longer edit linemen proportions so they don’t look ridiculously fat? No matter what weight I change them to they are stupidly huge. In the past two years you could at least set them under 320 lbs to morph them into a more athletic looking build.. now that feature is gone and they stay super fat? As an offensive line coach and previous player this is such an insult to our position group and I am so frustrated that they took away the only way to edit them with more muscle mass and an athletic build. I can’t believe the games customization options literally regressed.. EA, please, add it back in. Else this unfortunately goes to show once again in a long history of not caring about player expectations. This is a hugely needed fix.
Discrepancies between stats and the Halftime and Weekly Recap - Please Fix!
Hi EA Team, I’ve noticed there are discrepancies between the highlights that are shown during halftime and in the weekly recap in Franchise mode compared to that highlighted game(s) box score. For example, a highlight of a Steelers game may show DK Metcalf catching a 40+ yard touchdown, but the box score of the game only says Metcalf caught two passes for, say 20 yards and a TD. In a different example, a highlight from a separate game may state that a RB broke off a big run for a TD, but the box score from that game only shows a handful of runs and a “longest run” of far less than what was shown. Is this a bug? I really like the shows integration this year but it doesn’t really mean much for immersion if the highlights aren’t reflective of what’s actually going on in franchise world I’m playing in. Thanks!
FRANCHISE BUGS (NO BODY DIFFERENCES)
why when I edit my player and make my QB 300 pounds is he still skinny? Did you all not include the body types like in NCAA and previous maddens? Will this be in a title update to fix this? In NCAA there are lean, standard, and skinny and heavy body types and in Madden there is nothing. I just edit the height and weight. I need to be able to at least change the arms. I paid around 70 dollars for this
Bills Home Uniform set has the wrong pants
Which platform are you playing on? PC, EA App What is your PSN ID, Xbox Gamertag, EA Account ID, Steam ID, or Nintendo Switch Online ID? DANGERGOOSE1 Which game mode were you playing when the issue happened? Quick play Did you get any error messages? No What happened in the game leading up to the issue? I went to select my uniform before the game. The Bills home uniform set has blue pants. The Bills do not wear blue pants for their regular home uniforms, they wear white. On the uniform select screen, it even says "Nike Away Pants." What was supposed to happen before the issue came up? The default Home uniform for the Bills should have "Nike Home Pants" selected which are white. Do you have any screenshots or video clips of the issue? Yes I attached a screenshot.My college football 26 player is starting in 2025 and not 2029?
Hey, a big reason I got Madden 26 was because I wanted to continue my QB storyline from College Football 26. I imported my player and ended up in the 2025 draft, even though I played four full years in college. Shouldn’t I be starting in 2029? I did some research and it might be a bug. Platform: PS5 PSN ID: Apt-jelly2 Game Mode: Superstar Error Messages: None What happened: I imported my character but didn’t start in the correct year. What was supposed to happen: I expected to start in 2029 based on four years in college. Screenshots/Video: I can provide one if needed.
