Create a Player or Prospect Body Type isn’t changing or available
When you create a player or edit a prospect in Madden 26, there is no option to change the body type, or for it to automate with weight like in past titles.This means that players can be 5 foot 5 inches and 400 lbs and look this. Players are also having issues where they cannot change prospect or drafted generated rookie bodies either. I saw a tight end with a large body type. More recently, I saw a punter with the large body type on X. So we are missing all of the key body types to select like in CFB 26 or like how it would automate the body line in old titles. I imagine this will be fixed . Skinny, lean, normal, muscular, and Large
Franchise IR Issue/Bug
TL;DR - Franchise using wrong/outdated IR system. Bug where players keep getting re-injured while on IR and can’t return. Sadly I’ve noticed that the IR “issue” that has been an annoyed stable for franchise is still in the game. The official NFL ruling being an unlimited number of players can be put on IR, with only a limit of 8 being selected to return. For some reason, Madden is still only allowing 2 players the ability to return. With a new bug not even allowing just 1 player to return, long after they healed and sat out their mandatory 4 games. Both offline and online I’ve experienced these issues. My offline Lions, Penei Sewell got injuries week 2, I am in the last week of the regular season and he is still unable to come off from IR even with his status says no longer injured/the message from my coaching staff is telling that he is good to go. He is also constantly getting “re-injured” after every training week even though he is on IR. The exact same issue is plaguing my online franchise with the Panthers. With them constantly getting re-injured somehow, it is changing what their main injury was that got them on IR to begin with.Madden 26 is in need of a MASSIVE UPDATE!
How can you release an unfinished game especially 7 days early? Superstar mode is a huge letdown! I need to be able to see season stats, contracts, awards/progress rankings, news articles etc… basically everything that’s been in the mode for years. If you add all that back and fix the buggy sphere of influence then the game would be decent. Y'all literally make this mode like we are gonna just play a couple of seasons and be done. I like to play my career until the end and it seems like over the years of Madden after you get through your 1st or 2nd season everything gets real glitchy. No more interactions and if there are it’s the same interactions every in game year. Now let’s talk about in game sights, sounds and pageantry. I’m a packers fan and let’s just say the sounds of Lambeau Field are very inaccurate. Where is the Go Pack Go chants with the packers theme music playing throughout the stadium? Where’s the fireworks and cell phone lights/light shows during pregame entrance? Also when you run out for the first snap all it shows is what round and pick you were drafted. I want to see updated season stats showing what kind of season you are having etc.. It would also be nice if we can get the Lambeau Leap put in the game as a celebration. I will not be buying another Madden, because y'all do the bare minimum and every year there are so many issues, but especially this year yall really dropped the ball.
Online H2H Errors

What is your Xbox Gamertag, PSN ID, EA Account ID, Steam ID, or Nintendo ID? What is the error message you've been seeing? Roughly when did the errors start happening for you? Are you only getting the error with Online H2H, or is it happening with other game modes? This info will be helpful for us to continue looking into these errors. I'm playing on PS4 and everytime I go to the "Favorites" play tab, the game freezes for 20 seconds or longer. I've had to completely close the game multiple times, and when I've gotten back into the game and went to the tab for the 1st time it freezes again.Madden 26 Many Bugs/Issues
I'm playing on PS5 but I've heard these issues are on other platforms as well. Sounds cut out randomly at kickoffs. Freezing and lagging while choosing or scrolling through playbooks. Raining in every single game. Crashes. Random time outs used. Bad performance in game and main menu.
Certain Coach Abilities Not Working
The following abilities do not seem to work currently. Scouts honor and scout squad do nothing and do not allow you to hire additional coaches at that tier. after school tutor does not unlock additional focus player slots. unless I’m just not doing something correctly these abilities seem to have no effect at allCan’t Swap Character in Superstar
I was messing around with my CFB26 player in Superstar mode. Got drafted by Seattle but before I get too deep into the mode, I wanted to restart and get drafted by a different team. When I go to swap character to start that process, the game bugs out and tells me there is an error retrieving data. However, it keeps bugging out and there’s nothing I can do.Staff ability stacking
There is an issue with staff ability stacking producing wild upgrades. So if one gets each of the three camp counsellor abilities (HC, OC & DC) to level III and applies them in PS1 for training camp, completing a mini game can generate huge numbers of XP - completing the bucket drop mini game to gold rewards you with 48,000 XP plus 2 skill points! I completed it with Cam Ward to silver and I was rewarded with over 30,000 XP plus one 1 skill point and was able to increase his overall from 72 to 83 in one week! And one can do this with every training camp game. What is worse, starting from 0, it takes roughly 1-1.5 seasons to gain enough coach points to get all three to level III so from season 2/3 one is able to have multiple players making huge unrealistic leaps, creating mega teams which very much takes away from the CFM experience - anyone joining late on is severely handicapped. And the option for dictating the speed at which one accrues coach points has been taken away so one can’t even slow it down to the point that users may not bother doing so and use them elsewhere. Please can you consider adjusting the abilities for the next patch - stacking is going to cause no end of issues and in particular camp counsellor should only be allowed for HC alone at most.
Madden 26 Depth Chart Issue
Im playing in superbowl and when i start on offense all my starters in our QBs for WR and CB and OL for WR and TE. I check the sub displau where you get to make quick subs and I see that No WR or TE are starting but instead QB and OL and CB are starting. What should I Do?Madden 26 missing players from depth chart
Currently playing franchise mode and I'm in week 17 on PlayStation 5. I'm playing with the Dallas Cowboys and when I start a game my top five receivers are missing during the game. I verified that they are not on the injury report. I Auto reordered the depth chart. Then did it again manually and my receivers aren't showing up. I have wear and tear turned off so it's not that either. It's so bad it's to the point where when I start a game my back up quarterback, and 2 corner backs are lining up at WR. On top of that my Tight ends are doing the same with my RT often times replacing my top tight end In the attached images below you will see my actual depth chart but also the lined up on the field is my number four receiver, my number four tight end and my starting corner back.Long snappers all disappeared
I'm playing franchise mode season 2 week 5. I drafted a rookie TE that was a better long snapper then the long snapper on my roster. I cut my long snapper in favor of my rookie TE during preseason roster cuts. I was able to simulate the first 4 weeks without issue (no long snapper on my roster, rookie TE used at top of depth chart) Week 5 I went to play the game it wouldn't let me as I had no long snapper. The free agent list has zero long snappers. I check the NFL roster there are only 21 long snappers in total so many other teams don't have a long snapper either. There is nothing on the transaction log that shows my cut long snapper retired and he isn't on anyone's roster. He wasn't a terribly rated player (by long snapper standards) around 74/75 overall. Here is the response from support: Do not worry I will help you in all possible ways. When you simulate a game, Madden does not rigorously enforce specialist depth chart requirements. The game may use a backup tight end, offensive lineman, or simply auto-assign another rostered player in the simulated engine. However, when you play the game manually, Madden requires a player slotted specifically at the long snapper position in your depth chart, otherwise, it restricts you from starting the game. This is another artificial barrier—likely intended to ensure gameplay realism when controlling the team yourself—but it is not enforced in simulation, exposing an inconsistency in how the franchise mode treats roster rules between simulated and played games. Long snappers disappear from the free agent pool after preseason cuts due to the game's roster management logic, which automatically purges low-rated or niche-position players from the free agent pool once teams finalize their rosters for the regular season. This is commonly done to reduce the size of the free agent database and improve game performance, but unfortunately, it disproportionately affects specialists like long snappers. The game doesn't create extra long snappers to refill the pool, nor does it retain most cut ones for signing, so after final preseason cuts, many long snappers (and other specialized, low-rated players like Sam linebackers) simply vanish from the game's ecosystem, leaving teams unable to sign them during the regular season. The logic needs changing. If I can't play without a LS on the roster then it should be the same for every team. And if that is the case then there should be enough available players in case of injuries so you don't get stuck like I am. Obviously the computer AI doesn't value the LS position as they did the same thing I did during the preseason. The the roster/free agent logic doesn't value the LS players as free agent so they just disappear without a trace. There is no way to generate a player for me to sign so I'll be forced to switch a player to LS to play the game. Then I lose flexibility as this player won't be able to play the position I swapped them from. So I can't swap my TE to LS and also have him play TE. It should either make every team have a long snapper and keep enough free agents around in case of emergency or not require one at all (since it seems like the LS addition was half baked addition anyway)
