How to NOT build a game
I dont even know where to begin with Madden, year after year, failing to deliver the most basic of game physics. In the clip, the football bounces off the hands of 4 defenders before eventually falling to the ground. Its bad enough we have to deal with desyncs regularly, but this type of bafoonery is baffling.Feature Ideas for Madden 27
So for every year, Madden has been my go to game. I play it a lot with friends, and it is a challenging fun experience. But when it comes to adding new features for next year, I have something I have wanted in the game for a long time. My idea comes from the section where you create a player in the "Players and Uniforms file." Adding to that, when you select a face, even on Superstar mode, there is only so many faces and it is uncommon to have an alike face close enough. It is not that EA should add more faces, but they should add a feature like NBA 2K has, where if you download the App on mobile or Google Play you can add a face scan. But it is not the face scan I am looking forward to, I hope to see EA add a feature where you can take a picture of your face and download it on the game. Then after that, when you click manage players and look at the rosters, you should be able to scroll until you find the "Create A Player" in the Roster Section and you should see your face. It would definitely give a better realistic vibe, and it would be perfect for Superstar mode even. It is totally fine if you add this Idea to the next Madden, and it starts out unrealistic, but even then. That would be a major update. lastly, try adding it to be available on console too. When you press L1/LB during a passing play, it shows you exactly how your O-line will be blocking the defense, and make adjustments (half/full-slide). This is extremely useful because it also highlights unblocked defenders that can blitz in and create pressure. Why is this view not available for running plays? O-line blocking assignments are just as important, if not moreso, on running plays to gauge gaps and identify blitzes that will blow the play up. What's more, is that this option is available within College Football, so I'm curious if this was intentionally omitted, or if it's a glitch.H2H Online Suggestion
Hey Devs, I’m sitting here watching videos of 2000’s to 2010’s classic defenses like legion of boom and the Ray Lewis Ravens. Then I thought, why can’t I play as those defenses in an exhibition online or local game? I thought of 2k where they have the “classic” teams with the lineups from those years. I think it would be great if you guys added some form of classic teams in head to head play it could make for a super fun experience playing with your old favorite players apart from ultimate team.Madden 27 Wish List
Gameplay SS vs FS Right now, if a player is SS or FS, it doesn’t change their roles gameplay wise. I’d like for SS to be the player who plays the hole area or the seam flat. Basically, just make it where the SS is the safety most likely in the box, and the FS safety is the one who plays deep Designated mug LB in depth chart The mug formations are very helpful, but we should have a way to designate which LB is on the line of scrimmage. Right now, it’s whoever is first on the SUBLB, but that player might not be the best equipped to play on the line of scrimmage. More defensive formation/front and coverage options Corner blitzes Because of the new full-slide and half-slide mechanics, which work well, corner blitzes and blitzes in general should be more effective on their own. If a player isn’t adjusting protection, then the blitzes should get home more often. I’m tired of seeing my slot corner taking an awful angle, running into, or waiting on an OL to block them. Defensive front shifts If you come out in an odd front or a 3 DL formation, there should be designated plays that automatically shift into a four-man front by walking one of the Lbs to the edge. I understand this is more of a college thing rn, but I imagine it will be in the NFL in a few years Weight differences My offensive linemen should not lose run blocking reps against DBs who are 100lbs lighter than they are. It’s ridiculous and has to stop. If I line up in 13 personnel and they are in dime, I should be able to run the ball. My offensive linemen should throw them three yards out of the play and continue on to the most important threat. The same logic should be applied to off-ball LBs when the defense is in a 3-3 front, so my OGs have a clean four-yard running head start to block them. Only a few LBs are winning consistently against blocks by going through the linemen. The majority have to rip around or just hold their block and redirect the RB. Franchise Position coaches Love the addition of coordinators. I’d like to take that a step further by adding position coaches who have an effect on that position's overall development. If a certain position on your team has a really good year, that coach can be hired by other teams as a coordinator. Also, if your coordinator is hired as a head coach at another team, it is more likely that the position coaches will follow that coordinator. Contract salary by years Please allow us to designate how much money a player earns per year. If it’s a 100 mil contract for four years, I should be able to offer 30 mil the first year, 35 mil the second, 30 mil the third, and 5 mil the fourth. A player should be able to reject the contract if they don’t like the structures. Younger players probably want a more even or backloaded contract, and ownership probably wants a frontloaded contract so they can move on earlier if they want to. Guaranteed vs unguaranteed money I’m not saying give us the option to offer incentives like an extra 10k for 10 TDs, but let us designate certain funds as guaranteed or unguaranteed throughout the life of the contract. Obviously, the better players get more guaranteed, while the worse players get less. If you move onto a player without any guaranteed money, then obviously you save salary cap space. Awarness/Intelligence rating There should be an IQ rating in the franchise; maybe it can be a part of the awareness rating. Players who have low awareness/IQ should have more blown assignments in games. Coaches can help mitigate this by their own abilities/stats. There should be more blown assignments/miscommunication at the beginning of the year, along with whether the team has a new coordinator on that side of the ball. Another cool wrinkle could be players who are signed during the middle of the year also have an accumulation period (2-3weeks) where they are more likely to have a blown assignment if they are playing a lot Salary cap visualization Trying to figure out where money is located throughout multiple years in relation to the amount of cap space you have that year can be a little complicated. I think it would be much easier if there were a pie chart showing how the salary cap is allocated for the current year and future years. The pie chart can be divided by the amount of money each position group is making. So if I have a high-paid DT room, I can click the DT section to see all the DT salaries. Then I click an individual player to get his contract details so I can decide whether to move off him. Contract extensions Allow us to offer contract extensions whenever we want. If an organization is constantly losing, or if the player just got an extension, the player is less likely to accept it. If the player is older or nearing the end of their contract, they are more likely to accept the extension Free agents in the middle of the year Allow us to negotiate full contracts with free agents in the middle of the year. It’s crazy that we can’t. I think it’s totally fine if the players are more likely to want one-year deals, but we should be able to offer multi-year contracts. Active vs Inactives In real football, the Roosters only have 48 players active on gameday. Each week, you should choose who is inactive. You should also get the three player elevations from the practice squad, as they have in the NFLWrongfully suspened
I got suspended because I was doing sets for the new totw 94 over Harrison smith and selling home for a profit. I made maybe a million coins and was sitting at 1.7 million coins when I got on the next day I had been suspended from the auctions hub and had all my coins taken which were not all from selling Harrison smiths. First off it’s 2026 & we haven’t had audio commentary outside the lines since 2013! How are you called Electronic Arts when you’re so far behind in sports game development & artistic authenticity! It’s been the same copy & paste garbage. I literally refuse to buy the game anymore haven’t in 4 years the only reason I unfortunately know how 0.0 star it is due to my middle brother whose been loyal to buying the brand since we started playing Madden ‘99. We love sports in all its glorious form reality, virtual etc but this is ludacris even the rapper would agree! We praise the TE position & we can’t even pick it as a career position option #Gronk, J. Wit, Tony G, Kelce should all be offended by this. Other player roles as well the O. Line etc for god sake change your name to “Extra Asinine = It’s not in the game” cause it’s literally not everything you think would be put into the most & only hyped version of the #NFL video game more common sense items like audio! This is why y’all were so pressed when #2K had briefly NFL licensing cause they were killing your sales for doing what your brand name didn’t do anymore make a legit game with audio commentary & some stylish art. Y’all act like we don’t see the interviews etc on tv how the hell y’all put in after game interviews with no audio commentary. Y’all lazy & when you start dogging the AI defense in ALL MADDEN the game likes to kick you out of the servers at the end & not give you your accomplishment credits for the W, no turnovers etc. just stop making the game y’all even took out transferring your college players into Madden 26 pathetic EXTRA ASININE ITS NOT GONNA BE IN THIS YEAR OR NEXT YEARS GAME.
