Dear Andrew Wilson and the Electronic Arts team, I have been a longtime fan of the Need for Speed series, and I wanted to share how much Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) still means to so many players. The game had an incredible open world, exciting police pursuits, fun multiplayer, and a unique progression system that made it stand out from other racing games. Even years later, many fans continue to play it and talk about it online because it captured something special. I respectfully ask EA and Criterion Games to consider creating a remaster for modern platforms such as Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Improved graphics, higher frame rates, cross-play, and quality-of-life updates while preserving the original gameplay would be a dream come true for many fans. NFS 2015 PC - Nazi wraps closed as "opinion" - Case 250511262
Hi everyone, and hopefully some Community Manager can read this. I am writing here because the automated support loop is completely failing to handle a severe violation of EA’s Positive Play Charter. A couple of days ago, I reported two custom liveries shared in the community wrap section of Need for Speed Most Wanted 2015 on PC that feature explicit Nazi iconography (large swastikas, SS runes, 'White Power' and 'Heil **bleep**' slogans, and blatant antisemitic slurs). I provided clear screenshots of the vehicles and the creators' nicknames. Today, I received an automated email stating that EA decided not to take action because "a single comment in a conversation more broad (or an opinion sharply different from yours) might not represent a violation". Treating literal Nazi propaganda and antisemitism as a mere "different opinion" is a massive logical and ethical failure of your automated moderation system. The system closed my report (Case ID: 250511262) without an actual human ever looking at the evidence. I am not posting the screenshots here publicly to avoid violating forum rules regarding offensive content. However, I have them ready. Need for Speed: Legends (My Dream NFS Concept) Hello EA and Need for Speed developers, I have been a Need for Speed fan for many years. I believe the series doesn't need another short game. It needs one unforgettable game that brings back the spirit of Underground, Most Wanted and Carbon while creating something completely new. The Main Idea The player works for a wealthy car collector whose dream is to build the greatest collection of legendary street racing cars. Instead of buying legendary cars from a dealership, every iconic car should have its own story, challenges and unforgettable missions. Chapter 1 – Underground A modern and much larger version of the Underground 2 city. Night racing only. 10 rival racers. The final boss owns Rachel's Nissan 350Z. After defeating the final racer, he refuses to give you the car. Your crew plans a secret night operation to steal the 350Z from his garage. The mission ends with a long cinematic escape. Police are present but not very aggressive because they are busy dealing with larger crimes. Chapter 2 – Most Wanted A completely rebuilt and much larger Rockport. A new Blacklist. Sprint races. Circuit races. Speed challenges. Much harder police pursuits than Most Wanted (2005). Roadblocks, helicopters, Rhino SUVs, spike strips and destructible environments should all return. The final reward is the legendary BMW M3 GTR. Chapter 3 – Tokyo A large Tokyo-inspired map focused on drifting. Players collect legendary Fast & Furious style cars through story missions. Toyota Supra Nissan Skyline GT-R Dodge Charger Nissan Silvia Mazda RX-7 Drifting becomes the main gameplay with lighter police presence. Legends Garage After completing the story, the player unlocks a special Legends Garage. Every iconic car collected throughout the journey is displayed in its own dedicated place. Looking at the garage should remind players of every mission, every challenge and every victory. Customization More than 200 licensed cars. A huge customization system for regular cars. Iconic cars should never be sold in dealerships or the in-game market. Players should never be able to simply buy a normal BMW, Nissan or other car and turn it into a legendary vehicle. Every legendary car should be unique and obtainable only through its own story, missions and challenges. That uniqueness is what made those cars legendary in the first place. Sound Every engine and exhaust should have authentic recordings from real vehicles. Every car should have its own unique sound and personality. Police The police should feel dangerous again. Bring back: Heavy roadblocks Rhino SUVs Helicopters Spike strips Long cinematic pursuits Destructible environments like Most Wanted (2005) Escaping the police should feel like a real achievement. Final Need for Speed should bring back the feeling of earning legendary cars instead of buying them. Every iconic vehicle should be a unique reward connected to an unforgettable story. NFSMW audio stopped working
NFSMW (2012) When playing a multiplayer- friends game Player voices cannot be heard. All game sounds are Ok, just the conversations between players that cannot be heard. This started about two weeks ago. There is a setting to "unmute" players but it cannot be changed. There were no windows 11 updates at that time. Anyone else have this problem? Hello, I've been experiencing a long-standing issue with Daily Challenges in Need for Speed Payback on Xbox. For almost a month (since early June 2026), when I go to Challenges, it says "Challenges are unavailable, please try again later". I cannot access or complete any daily challenges. AllDrive and Ranked Speedlists work fine (I can play with other players). Autolog recommendations also work. The achievement "A Daily a Day" is stuck because of this. This issue has been reported by many players before, but it seems to be happening again on a large scale. Need for speed rivals have probably been the best need for speed game ever made. It’s atmosphere, the rain particles, its overall mood creates the best feeling ever when playing this game. It’s AI cops are relentless making it engaging and fun to play which requires skill. Its map is also perfect with the landscape is all perfect while the ui from the menu is also perfect. The overall looks of this game is amazing and nothing greatly unrealistic. The freedom you get in this game is incredible compared to the other NFS games as well. You get choices between Cop and Racer, clean open world compared to NFS hot pursuit remastered and has a designated Cop mode with specialized tech like EMP’s compared to all other need for speed games. So my overall feedback is to update the game a little, although servers have been shut down, there has been a great, loyal fan based specifically for this game, with many such as myself asking for a remastered version (such as NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered) with better gameplay while keeping its great atmosphere intact. Its overall gameplay and atmosphere should be studied and placed into newer NFS games especially its unique features and designs ranging from the ui and atmosphere of its dark tone to its overall aesthetic gameplay from dynamic weather and great graphics for a very old game, better than most NFS games as newer games don’t have dynamic weather like NFS most wanted. Each game has its drawbacks in my opinion, from my eyes, every new NFS game should look up towards rivals and take inspiration from it. It has gotten play station hits, great awards like the 15 best of awards and more. It’s a great game see being slowly destroyed despite its great success and achievements. Below I will list some bad things about the newer NFS games and compare them to Rivals and finish with a way to help this fan base. NFS hot pursuit: Career is event based rather than open world progression. Free driving is available but more focused on selecting events. Older graphics and less advanced weather. Less exploration as it has more polished pursuit mechanics. NFS heat: Cannot play as police No pursuit gadgets like EMPs More focused on street racing and car customization. Day and night system rather than Rivals dynamic weather/atmosphere. NFS Unbound: No playable police Anime style visual effects rather than Rivals clean effects Brighter urban setting Overly focused on customization and style NFS most wanted: No police as usual No weather system like rivals Older graphics No pursuit technology NFS payback: Police limited to story missions rather than constantly roaming. Desert environment rather than forest and coastline. More story focused NFS: No playable police. Police less threatening Focus on tuning cars rather then exotic cars. Entirely at night. Now I know there are more NFS games out there to talk about but writing this much was enough. Now for the big reason why I’m writing this: I have been playing the game since it came out and it was a big part of my life during the ages 5-10. I used to play this game constantly and consistently on my ps4 during this time but after getting newer games like Minecraft during that time I stopped playing for a bit. But of course I started playing again. But I was shocked to see such a good game being cut off from online services like multiplayer. Although I understand it has a large cost to people playing ratio, that isn’t my point. My point is that my Disc is very damaged so I was looking into other NFS games to play similar to rivals but they each have their differences. Each doesn’t give the same vibe as rivals no matter how similar there is a difference but I understand Ea can’t create the exact same game again and again but it has been years. My idea was to ask for either newer NFS games to be way more similar to rivals (like very very similar) or to release a remastered version. There is still a Rivals community out there with a loyal fan base as stated before but such a perfect game shouldn’t be left unnoticed. The game in my eyes is the holy grail of NFS. Each game should look up to it and take inspiration from its unique design and gameplay. Overall, I suggest a remastered version of NFS rivals coming back into production and sold world wide. Its awards demonstrate its greatness and perfectionism in its craft. By updating newer console features such as on the ps5 by adding ray-tracing, 4k graphics, 120hz gameplay or anything else would make the game vastly better. By updating car controls to a more realistic level or legacy versions also would be even better with even more freedom to the game with AI aggression control which can be changed by the user in the settings or by making it even more focused on its great atmosphere. Another suggestion is to create newer NFS games to a more similar approach and format to Rivals. Its graphics are better than most modern games and just perfect overall. It has the best atmosphere I have ever seen and the best map of course. I will soon be buying a new disc for rivals so I can play again on either my ps5 or ps4 I will have to choose but I really hope such a great game doesn’t go unnoticed and is taken into account for future production of newer NFS projects, and of course I hope for a remastered version 😉.NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered - fails to launch

Game Freezing in Multiplayer
Everytime I join an online game; My game freezes. It does not kick me out. The screen just freezes for 5-20 seconds, unfreezes and the game tried to catch up by speeding up the game to catch up with the other players. This has been going on ever since I downloaded the game off of Steam. This doesn't happen in the career mode so I want to know if it is possible to fix this issue without having to contact support.Idea of NFS game
Dear EA and Need for Speed team, As a longtime fan, I think the next Need for Speed should combine the best parts of the franchise instead of copying just one game. Underground 2 for deep customization, street culture, night cruising, shops, and car identity. Most Wanted 2005 for a Blacklist-style boss ladder, memorable rivals, intense police chases, bounty, and risk. Heat for the day/night system where daytime earns money and nighttime earns reputation. Carbon for crew battles, territory control, canyon races, and district takeovers. Hot Pursuit for aggressive police tactics, roadblocks, spike strips, helicopters, and high-speed danger. Unbound for style and self-expression, but with visual effects as an option so players can choose realistic or animated effects. The next game should focus on street racing, customization, crew identity, dangerous cops, pink slip races, boss cars, and a city that feels alive. Fans want a game where every car feels personal and every race feels like it matters. Please bring back the soul of classic Need for Speed while keeping modern handling, graphics, online features, and customization. Thank you for keeping the franchise alive.
[Bug] Need for Speed: Heat - Extremely Loud Dialog Volume
tl;dr: the volume level for player and NPC dialog lines are extremely loud and distorted. It seems to happen randomly, about every 4 out of 5 game starts. What causes this? How do I stop this from happening? Linked below is a video recording someone uploaded back in March 2022. A caption in the video says that the uploader lowered the volume of the recording, but it's still an accurate depiction of how loud and distorted the dialog becomes. Right after loading into the garage, Lucas makes a comment to the player character, and the bugged volume is immediately noticeable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au2QFFC5Hd8 Someone in the comments section of that video also uploaded footage of the same bug after the player exits the garage, but the uploader didn't lower the volume. I've added it below, as this is how it sounds in my game (loud volume warning): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk6mov1DJuM In my game, in the garage, the bugged audio sounds like there's been heavy reverb applied to all the dialog lines. It eventually becomes quieter, but it seems to last indefinitely. Leaving the garage through the menus, or even going to character selection gets rid of the reverb/echo, but not the loud voice audio. I've played NFS Heat, with and without mods, in a number of configurations (low, medium, and high settings), online and solo play, for at least 250 hours since 2022. I've only experienced this issue once before, about 2-3 months ago, but thought it was just a one-off glitch at the time. It didn't happen again until a few days ago, and it's now become a frequent problem. I don't know what triggers it, nor how to bypass it, other than muting "Sound Effects" in the game settings. Lowering the "Dialog Volume" to 0 doesn't do anything. I have to lower the master "Sound Effects" slider. That's far from an ideal solution, because it mutes most other sounds as well, leaving only the soundtrack audible. I've tried: Verifying game files through Steam Uninstalling, clearing out any residual files, then reinstalling the game (i.e. clean install) Clearing the EA app cache Deleting my old save from My Documents Disabling audio inputs (I didn't have any recording devices plugged in to begin with, but did so to rule it out) Disabling any audio enhancements (I didn't have any enabled in the first place, but double checked) Disabling "Exclusive Mode" in Settings > Sound > Speakers Properties (Playback tab) > (Advanced tab) (sound enhancements and spatial sound have always been disabled) I monitor my GPU/CPU usage and system temps. The game runs at the same levels as usual. I haven't made any changes to my system since before the bug (Windows 10). I did move my old save elsewhere to start over, and it was fine for several launches. I've also been playing the game without mods since before the bug started happening consistently. There have been others who have posted about this issue on various social media platforms and YouTube. But no one seems to have a solution to this problem, let alone an explanation for why this happens in the first place. Any insight on this issue would hopefully help future players experiencing this problem as well.Ideas in hopes for new nfs
I hope this reaches out to the creators of need for speed. I wanted to give some ideas to y'all for the next game. I think it would be really nice to see a lot more older cars, and trucks. Not like a few but a lot like 1930 to 2000 and make it where you can race for pink slips. Players can play as cops give both sides a story that twists together. Add spike trips for racers and cops. Give the car selection some theme music and some cool background lights. Like off of nfs high stakes. Make characters including the player have a storyline background. If I need to sign something to give these ideas to y'all I will. I don't have the equipment money or time to make my own. But I have a strong creative imagination.We need a village!

Hello NFS Community and Developers! I want to share an idea for a future Need for Speed game or a true remake/sequel to the original Most Wanted. What if the main protagonist of the next game is Mia Townsend? In the finale of Most Wanted (2005), we found out that she was an undercover cop. It would be amazing to build the entire gameplay and story around her double life. It would also be awesome if EA could bring back Josie Maran to voice and portray Mia again! Key Gameplay Concepts: Two Sides of the Law: During the day, you play as a police officer, coordinating busts, using high-tech pursuits gear (like spikes and EMPs from Hot Pursuit), and driving official interceptors. At night, you put on your street racer gear, tune your personal car, and infiltrate a new Blacklist. Deep Story: Instead of a generic nameless racer, we get a beloved character with a personal motivation. We can see how the events of the original Most Wanted affected her and what happened to the Blacklist cars. The Perfect Balance: This concept perfectly combines the gritty illegal street racing atmosphere of Most Wanted/Undercover with the thrilling cop gameplay of Hot Pursuit. The Return of the Legendary BMW M3 GTR: We can't have a true Most Wanted spirit without the iconic silver-and-blue BMW M3 GTR E46. In this concept, the car could play a major role in the story. Since it became the most wanted car in the country after the events of 2005, Mia’s main undercover task force mission could be to track down its current location and confiscate it from the new street racing syndicate. Impounding the legendary BMW mid-game and finally getting behind its wheel for the ultimate night races would be the ultimate reward for the fans! About the Soundtrack: It would be amazing to feature a soundtrack with songs from the same era (the mid-2000s) instead of modern generic music. Bringing back that classic 2005 vibe with heavy rock, metal, and electronic breakbeat tracks would make the pursuits feel incredibly intense and nostalgic! I think fans would absolutely love to see Mia return and experience the NFS world from this unique undercover perspective. What do you think?
