Still on NHL26…
Is there a way to edit rosters/player movement/the draft once you start a new franchise? I downloaded a recent custom roster, but guys like McKenna/Stenberg/Bjork are still in junior/international, and it says they are too young to be added to an NHL/AHL team in the roster customization.Chel Lobbies
Dear EA , it has been Years with constant bugs in Chel lobbies. And apparently each years just adds new bugs. me and friends play 6s almost every day for years and we have gotten so used to lobbies being broken -“invite failed” when inviting friends lobby glitching out during search and not finding anything, then we have to reset it with private game search or leave the lobby and come back. as of late we get constant issues with error “lost connection to Ea servers” right before game starts. If opponent Goalie leaves the game and we go back to lobby its high chance that we would need to reset lobby becouse its not finding oponent during peak hours, once we reset it then opponent appears almost instantly. but year by year- month by month it really gets tiresome that theese things arent adressed. those who play 6s know about theese issues and it not fun to organise 6people and play lobby simulator for better part of the evening just trying to get it to work.Idea
Hey, my just rlly desperate atp. I don't know why it's so appealing to me but for the past 3 NHL's I've been trying to get mascots to fight not knowing it's not a feature and it's not possible. I wanted to suggest they add it as a feature to NHL 26 and 27. It gives more appeal to younger fans, and it's a fun tweak that I think people will really like. It's a little silly but it sounds cool to me for some reason. And it would benefit the younger fanbase a lot. It's a goofy request but I've been trying for so long. Another thing is editing mascots. You should be able to edit mascots in threes circuit like you can edit players in franchise mode. Just a couple suggestions for threes. Thank yaCPU Strategies and Poor Logic
I’m going to throw this in here since I’m still playing ‘26. I’ve noticed a lot of good discussion regarding cpu teammates being too aggressive offensively on the pk while being too passive on the pp. Essentially, the strategy is reversed. Well, I’d like to add that this applies to the strategy late in games as well, even five on five. We’ll be up by a couple and my forward linemates are super aggressive. That’s not the bad part because I’ll play as F3 and make sure I stay back. What is frustrating is when we’re down by a goal or two and I’m the only guy forechecking. I’ll separate the man from the puck but I don’t have a teammate anywhere around to pick it up and help. They invariably pull back to the blue line and watch. That’s honestly one of the most frustrating aspects and I have a feeling that ‘27 hasn’t addressed this. In addition, when the goalie is pulled, your defense will back in and back in and let the opponent get within ten feet of the net for an empty netter. Stuff like this is why I’m on blood pressure meds. Lol. Yes, I’m old.Player changes.
Fix line changes where players stay tired on the ice. It’s like you’re hacking to keep my players tired on the ice when they should be able to get on the bench by hopping over the boards when I say it’s time to change. Why can I click to the next line and players don’t do anything about it. I shouldn’t need to press the button twice for it to say I’m going from line 1 to 2– And then nobody changes unless I press it 6 times!! And sometimes, the game will be like nah that was 5 so you end up on the same line trying to press it another 6 times for the game to say nah that was 7 now. I shouldn’t have to look to make sure it’s right because it’s not consistent. I’m probably being hacked by the ea content team that’s trying to look like they’re better at the game than they really are.I have no words
I have asked before why the Be A Pro ( and actually spell it out as BAP doesn’t seem to be understood) stick does not do anything it is supposed to. I can’t actually control a poke check as my stick always go to the puck. Even when I do the hold and redirect it. Nowadays that slows me down and even if I block a pass the puck still makes it. I guess I am saying why doesn’t the stick of a Be A Pro actually be more effective than a NPC?Energy?
Okay I have been paying attention to my health bar. In 2 day it barely goes up a single bar! Are you telling me I now have to spend energy point because a NHL player doesn’t recover in 2 days? That is total **bleep**. I can see back to back games. Can we go back to just division of our own experience depending on how many games we play?More frustration with the AI in BAP
Apparently, we lost Debrincat and Bedard to free agency and I’m on the first line with two middle six guys. Whatever. I’m a 98 so I’m carrying the best that I can. But what really ticked me off this morning was 3 on 3 OT. My linemate kept dumping it in which caused us to lose possession more than once. Obviously, I’m going to have to adjust and call for it every time so I can carry it into the zone. But I hate the fact that I have to do that. Game Mode: Franchise Mode Platform: Xbox Series X|S Issue Description There is a fundamental logic and math error in how Modified No-Trade Clauses (M-NTC) calculate tradeable teams in Franchise Mode. Instead of applying the clause exclusively to the 31 other teams in the league, the game uses a flat backend subtraction based on total league size (32 - Clause Count = Tradeable Pool. Because of this, the player's own current team is automatically forced to occupy one of their No-Trade restriction slots. This creates a faulty calculation that artificially inflates the tradeable teams pool: • With an 8-team NTC, the game calculates 32 - 8 = 24 tradeable teams. • However, because a player's current team cannot be traded to anyway, having it occupy one of the 8 NTC slots means only 7 actual external teams are being blocked. • Out of the 31 other teams in the league, blocking 7 results in 31 - 7 = 24 tradeable teams. The Core Problem: Players are being shortchanged out of a true 8-team external restriction because their home team is stealing one of their block slots, artificially inflating their tradeable pool to 24 instead of the correct 23 (31 - 8 = 23). Steps to Reproduce 1. Start or load any Franchise Mode save. 2. Inspect any player card belonging to a skater with an M-NTC (e.g., an 8-team No-Trade clause). 3. Observe the Tradeable Teams List counter, which incorrectly displays 24 tradeable teams. 4. Note that because the player's current team is silently taking up one of the 8 NTC slots, only 7 external teams are actually restricted out of the 31 available trade partners (31 - 7 = 24), rather than properly enforcing a full 8-team block against the rest of the league (31 - 8 = 23) Supporting Evidence • Screenshot of Jokiharju with the 32-8=24 bug • Video of trading away Jokiharju and unable to trade back for him and Zacha who if also traded earlier PS Posting this here because it seems to get ignored in the bugs forum.Hockey ultimate team
PlayStation account username is: Dcity_smith And I wanted to start this conversation because on NHL 26 hockey ultimate team I did not know that the 99X sets for players required 10 tokens and a collectables and I sold like half my team for the collectables and I was just wondering if I can get that back because now I don’t have the desire to play because half of my team is gone and I wanted to get the 99X CharaI think this should be a third period only game...
4 minute periods really fudges the clock , screws up PPs and PKs or you make them realistic and people use them to troll and extend game times... At least if we play third period hockey , the clock gets screwed less. And we still have overtime. And you can have the gam face up/down still if youre playing a buddy on the couch. What nhl game do you see almost 2 minutes of game time go by for someone to skate to the bench and line change ... a quarter of the clock can be spent line changing every period. Which is why I suggested no animations for line changes, just a blip and change. There isn't enough time for the animations. Or the goalie takes wayyy too long to get to the bench for an extra skater . 3, 4 minute periods are bad.
please bring back the way sets were in the past
one thing i like to see ea bring back is the bronze, silver or gold sets for miscellaneous cards! i hope there is still time for this years game? when it comes to sets, please have and option for older collectables that you have missed that you can put in a set and get something for? like a miscellaneous set so you can at least get some kind of pack, a mini pack or one player pack or coins even, something at least? also when it comes to arena, jersey, logo's goalie masks and captains cards let us get something more then just another of the same card that we cannot even auction? please bring back the old sets so we can get some kind of player or pack, bring back the bronze, silver or gold packs depending how many cards you had for the sets that was way better then the way ea has it set up now its not fun or exciting when you have all these cards you worked hard getting and cannot even use i know ea wants us to spend money on packs but they need to change it back to the way they use to have it! make every card you earn be worth something even if we missed the deadline!Active Players.
I remember back in the day, you used to be able to see all the active players in whatever online game mode you were playing? Why did EA take that out? I woooonder when they and going to bring it back as a revamped feature? 🤣. Sitting wait 20mins to play a match of chel. Sometimes hours just to play a few. So annoying 😑
