Intention
Would truly like to find reason for the change over regarding line combos. You build up your team under a cap or AP, and at the end of a season, a new captain is awarded, and your team resorts back to a new make over. Cannot see any logic in this format. Except for EA trying to garner revenue from purchases. Have no problem with a cap. Brings more realism to the game. But the salaries of players are fictional. Rookies dont make millions. If they kept the salary base more in tune to reality, the format would be more viable. As it stands now. Its just another arcade style of game.
Chel store stuff missing
Once again (like previous versions) chel store has missing REAL JERSEYS! Game said that i got Carolina Hurricanes away jersey (this season) but i did not. It was season 24-25 seasons jersey. So the game lied to me. Non of the current seasons jersey ain't in the store and i wonder why... As a Rangers fan i cannot buy and wear centennial jersey in any WoC mode and our season is going horrible (wich i cannot blame EA) so give me and also everyone else on going seasons jerseys to store (many would like to wear favorites current jersey) like we should have been since the start of the game. Now that the Winter Classic uniform has been added, the Centennial uniform should be updated to match the same Helmet color, Glove color, and Pants design. The current incorrect centennial uniform in game has all 3 wrong (pants are just a plain red without the beige and light blue stripe design).EA SPORTS roster free agent
hello They still haven't fixed one mistake and it's a mistake in the free agent rosters. Do anyone ever think that EA will ever combine every good part of Be a Pro ( from 2014- now ) so you can have an actual player experience? Or do you think they just keep hoping that Hut will be the money maker? Play as you go? Please the actual hockey fans or just be an online game that they could put on a phone?Xp season.
Besides the collectables and the xp player choice pack. Why are there UT cards in the rewards. Specifically in the early levels, 86 ovr Ut and 87 ovr UT. Is it not enough that we have 55 days of going through this venue, that we are rewarded with untradeable cards. The sad part of this is. Come May. These same cards will still be there. EA never adjusts as the time goes on. I truly hate this format. Repititious. Same rewards. No incentive. Why the game is becoming more boring with each new year.New WoC
It's clear that despite defining the term, and using general logic EA will never admit to the game being P2W. Fine. Perhaps we can at least discuss a change to the system that could still bring in money for EA while also making players happy. Imagine this.. we open world of chel and get "pricy pond hockey" after a quick video Guy Flaming is interviewing you and says "so tell me a little bit about yourself where are you from" from here you create your base player. Your height and weight can effect speed thresholds but not to the extent we see in WoC now, we no longer have to be sub 6' to have 99 speed (by season's end) but it will be advantageous to be smaller if that's the goal. We also choose our archetype and our first xfactor. After this we actually play in this pond hockey game. You are then asked if you would like to make any changes to your build/ play another game. After you advance you are met by a scout (he will be from the favorite team you selected) you are an unknown prospect (Mystery Alaska type of backstory) eventually you are signed by the team. Now to get you ready for the NHL you unlock the ability to play drills on the farm. These can help boost your attributes/ x-factors. You can also choose to play your career journey at anytime which more slowly builds your character, as you're the only human so it would be 16.6% and be locked on pro difficulty or something to prevent someone boosting. The real boost is gonna be actual online play. You get more points the more full your team is. If you play 6's and get a full 6 you get 100% of the points. Same with 3's and threes. There is a year long progression ladder. As you move up in level you unlock more points to use. Each season can have progression caps (or allow a free ladder all the way, caps would allow for more balance and control) How EA makes money, because obviously if we are compromising they gotta make the same or more than they are with these builds they're selling. Firstly you can buy *some* progression, either up to a cap or X amount to start. Secondly, you can buy additional builds, maybe we start with a couple free? Then decide if those additional builds all progress together or if you need to progress each one? If you have to progress each one then maybe we can buy the ability to have them up to specific caps or something as the year goes. For those of you who hate these changes, I understand but I think it's better than these current builds, and they need their money so it has to be semi predatory. If we do have level caps then throughout the year the meta would likely change, which would be cool. The first season when everyone is level 50-70 would look much different than year's end when everyone is 99 ish. Also, maybe there are ways such as specific achievements (winning the cup with your club) and that allows you to get to 99. Maybe if you don't hit some achievements you can only get to 90-95 or something? Balancing attributes would likely be the hardest thing to implement. Speed would need to be FAR more expensive than anything else. I think we would need to look at how people are making current builds and how much more important we all view speed over any other attribute.. then obviously all other attributes would need to be balanced after that. I think after every year the cost of attributes could be adjusted based on what people are doing with their builds. If too many people are still priortizing speed, it would be more expensive the next year until we start to see those people declining, same with any other attribute. People start prioritizing hitting over anything or hitting far more than poking.. we obviously have a balancing issue either in the game or with attribute pricing. "This is still p2w due to the different things you can buy and the xp boosts" Yeah, I think it's less P2W or more pay for convenience. Just like the McDavid build, at least its earnable. I can respect that more that the JS build that is locked behind a paywall.. and at least this will be fun and it will be our OWN build. I think everyone is tired of making their club, unlocking the same stuff on that, buying/ unlocking the same things on their builds just to get back to where they were the year prior.. this would actually feel like a journey.. and when its over, yes we do it again but the meta will start over.. it will evolve through the year and that makes it fun. Currently it doesn't change much at all. There are small boosts and now some broken builds but none of them feel TOTALLY different.. but if we start out with junior level attributes and get to star NHL attributes.. things will change.. and playoffs will look different every year. Then after we have a 99 I would almost look forward to starting back over at a 50 ovr or w/e and the meta starting over. I do NOT look forward to unlocking/ buying the same equipment.The only way EA will listen
Stop playing the game simple as that. For years I played every night or at least I tried to but I haven't loaded the game up in almost a month and I'm better off for it. Stop playing and you will enjoy an overall better mood and have more free time to do something worthwhile. Then when next fall rolls around and EA's puts out their next broken offering don't buy it. Then and only then will they learn otherwise they have no reason to. Just some friendly advice. Don't keep handing them good money after bad and expect them to change.Crossplay friendly matches in HUT
Hello, has anyone actually managed to play a crossplay friendly match in HUT with a friend on another platform? Is this feature really working? According to EA, crossplay HUT friendlies should be possible and I bought the game mostly because of this feature. However, after trying absolutely everything, it still doesn’t work for us. We are on Xbox Series S and PS5, crossplay is enabled and we are already EA Friends. We have played EASHL, so EA Connect is clearly working. We also tried inviting from the main menu first, and then going into HUT to invite there but that also does not work. The problem is that in HUT Play a Friend there is no EA Connect or EA Friends option at all. When trying to invite a friend using the left bumper, only the Xbox friends list appears and there is no way to invite an EA friend from another platform inside HUT. Active Franchise player, Hopefully you take tge feedback. I will actively add to this as I play. Scouting - please put something into the game to sort and select multiple players at once. Having to go into each is time consuming and inefficient. Would like to be able to select from 1 to 100 without entering each one to choose what I want to scout for. Uncovering prospects is pretty useless. Once I see potential would like to be able to choose the type of potential I want to scout further. Need the ability when looking at the draft board. Do scatter player from the giraffe board in automatically assigned in the scout screen. Scout should get better the longer they work for you.People will stay a "B" forever.Play online thinks after 20 years
Hi! Thanks for the quick reply. I use a wired internet connection in Switzerland. That can't be the reason, as the player left in the middle of the game because of the loss. Anyway, I would like to make one big request for the next NHL 27. Could you please make it so that in online games, if a player selects a team from the SM League, National League, or World Championship, they will always be matched with a corresponding team? I have been playing NHL for 20 years now, and this issue has still not been addressed. I, and surely many other players, would like to play with a team from the same league, rather than having Kuopio KalPa or the Finnish national team play against an NHL team. I strongly request that this feature be added to NHL 27 to make games in other leagues more fun and balanced. Thank you very much! Have a great weekend! So we most likely will not get anymore gameplay updates now so what we got is it. I play franchise mode only and this game is a shocker nothing like the real game, it's a hit fest with opposition just hitting to get the puck, opposition cpu takes no stick penalties, perhaps 5 in 80 hours of play, no hooking and no slashing and no high sticking which have all been in past years. So this is a major step backwards for the nhl series and for me the last time I'll ever buy it at full price or even at all, absolutely shocking from the biggest sports game developer, doesn't matter how small the team is because you still charge full price for the game.Where is Bedard?
I get wanting to make the video game be like real life, but if that’s the goal, please figure out a way to have rosters updated daily. Bedard was injured, then came back, then got sick, then played 1/9, 1/10, and 1/15/2026. I think he’s back in the lineup in real life, but the video game doesn’t reflect that. All I have to so say is...Wow, I forgot how fun World of Chel was when it wasn't based around a poorly implemented hockey simulator. The feel of this mode is worlds better than anything I've played in standard WOC modes. If this becomes permanent me and my buddies might actually play every day again.
