Desired Things To Add In NHL 27
I think many players, people who play NHL series regularly, are disappointed with the NHL in terms of changes. So, speaking as a major part of the player base, there are a few things that would make the game better and fulfill our desires. Be A Pro international tournaments - EA did one step ahead to make the NHL better, and that's they added the Junior World Championship. But it's just one step to make the NHL better. As I read some forums or discussions, everyone wants, and I am not an exception. WE want IIHF and Olympic Games in Be a Pro mode. You know, GM or Coach calling you if you want to be a part of the national team at the World Championship or Olympic Games. BUT of course, you need to do something for it, so you get challenges to get in there. Winter Games - Everyone wants it back, and I agree with this. I think this makes the NHL look good and makes it look alive. Rookie Laps - I think this is just a detail to add, to be more realistic. I think this is the least EA can do. More realistic fans and crowds at the game - I would LOVE to see fans act more realistically. You know, they really do something, not just sit, move with head, and when I shoot goal, they just stand, sit, or jump from their seats and clap their hands. You know, this seems so unrealistically and it destroys the atmosphere in the arena. More joy from the goals. Make Be a Pro more realistic - Yes, I know. EA did something in Be a Pro mode, but you know, it's good. But we would love to see more things, you know, do you know what BAP is about? Play two games at WJC, a few games in the league, get drafted, and get the same challenges over and over again. That's just boring. Active Social Media - I think this feature is in FIFA, too. Fans posting opinions on the last game, or photos, your team publishing your photos or clips of your greatest moments in the game. More Animations - More animations. Before your first game, or at the start of the play-offs, clip from the changing room, capturing you getting ready for the match, or your teammates. Off-ice animations, and more animations on the bench, after you score a goal, your players on the bench just stand up and begin to wave, the animation is on loop. Better Presentation - Okay, this is the most desired and disappointing thing in the NHL. Look at NHL 19. This was maybe the last good NHL game, no, actually the last GREAT AND MOST REALISTIC NHL game. The presentation is exceptional. Compared to the current presentation, it's gross, really, sorry, but it is true. New Commentators - Listening to the same commentator over and over again, it's boring, repeating everything every single match. James Cibulski is boring in the NHL now, really. More Goal Celebrations - This is just a detail. But it's not great to watch every single game, the boring celebration, it looks like the players don't enjoy the moments. Everyone just lifts their hands in the air and skates slowly after the player that shot the goal. Why can't they celebrate the goal more properly, more simulated, so it looks like they really enjoy the moment and show the joy from it? Just a quick sentence about all of this. Why is EA spending more and more money on the FIFA series, instead they could try to spend more on the NHL series? I think FIFA and the NHL are on the same page in terms of popularity, and the NHL, compared to FIFA, looks incomplete and undeveloped, like a game that existed 10 years ago when developers were too lazy to work on the game. So why not make the NHL better and make it look as good as FIFA? Thank you if you at least read it! But PLEASE EA, I beg you, and I will give you all the money if you do this. Everyone is excited to experience the new era of the NHL.
Be a Pro Tweaks
Have some general feedback on be a pro, things I think would improve the mode. There needs to be an ability to select the type of career you will have, like College Football. Examples: Star player: drafted picks 1-10, will have an immediate impact Top 6/top 9: Will be picked in the mid 1st to mid 2nd, will take some development. Late round pick: Will have to carve your way through the system to prove your worth Undrafted: Get signed at 22-24 years of age out of Europe/CHL and have to make a name for yourself almost immediately. The same story line of a guy that gets drafted in the first round and has to be an immediate star is boring. Sometimes, I want to be a later round pick/undrafted player that proves my worth. It's way too easy to make the NHL squad out of pre-season, even as a later drafted player. Teams should also draft you based on positional needs. If I'm a LW'er, teams stacked down the left side shouldn't be looking at me because of their LW depth. NHL teams DO draft the best player available, but some swings are also made at drafts. Penalties for poor play also need a re-work. If I'm a winger fully covering my defenseman in the D zone, and the AI defensemen collapse for a goal against, that's not my fault. I was doing my job. Also, I think we need to scrap the current player builds for more dynamic builds. For example, NBA 2K has a system where you can directly edit your build before you start, choosing which attributes your player will have. It also shows the MAX overall that build can reach. It then shows what 3 players that build shows shades of. If I create a playmaking sniper build, I can show shades of Artemi Panarin, Nikita Kucherov, and David Pastrnak. It just gives users an idea of the build they are creating. Also allowing users to directly edit their shoot/pass bias for simulation purposes. Examples being: - Playmaking Sniper - Two-way playmaker - DFD with puck moving capabilities - Shoot-first grinder I don't want to be a DFD stuck with bad skating and offensive skills. What If I want to do prime Ryan Suter build, a DFD with good offensive capabilities good for 40-50 points a season? I hate being locked into a build, then having to spend what little skill tree points I get to make my DFD have better passing, then not being able to focus on my other attributes. Play styles should determine the role you play on the team.. Why am I, a defensive dman, getting penalized for not scoring the game tying goal? If I'm a grinder, my role should be to get pucks in deep, wreak havoc in the corners, and throw the body while playing a defensive shut down game. It'd be awesome if you were a grinder and your coach puts your 3rd line against Matthews or Eichel with the objective to shut them down. I don't always want to be the next Gretzky. This goes towards player customization in general, but there needs to be more of it. Things like dynamic and signature tape jobs relative to NHL players, different stick blade types, stick curves (strictly cosmetic), jersey sleeve roll ups, more hair styles, shin pad size, etc.Just wondering if for NHL 27

Like I've once stated before having a Salary cap and line combos in a mode called Ultimate team is a ridiculous idea ,again I work 16hr shifts every other day and the time I do get to play i just want to build my team my way that means choosing my favorite players not the players some dev is telling me to use. So my club has unlocked everything in WOC clubs.. Have every logo accept 2. Ducks and Kings new logos. Where are they EA??? Where!? whenever my club gets a "Clun bag" all we get are gold completion tokens no ducks and kings logos.. where are they?????Old hut back?
1. First the line combos. In the beginning they felt cool but now we have too many teams with same players. The line combos are forcing people to have an exact same players and it’s ruining the idea of building your dream team and making your favorite players. 2. Tots event was ruined. Many players waited and saved money and players for tots event to get best cards in the whole game. But we got players that don’t get overall and spam of elite quick releases. 3. Elite abilities are too op. I’ve seen players who are only shooting from blue line because everyone of their offensive player has a quick release. Unstoppable just to spam hits while rushing to offensive zone. Line combos is my biggest worry but I hope you can bring back old school hut and we can build our dream teams with our favorite players again! Thank you🤝NHL 26 Season is almost over, try NHL 20
BLUF - Please, get some inspiration from your previous work, I suggest NHL 20, and implement it into NHL 27. NHL26 is currently the sole decent hockey game available on any platform, and despite not having any competition or challenger on the market, the game is great, and devs are doing a great job in the incremental improvement of the game; however.... ...there were a lot of things in the previous iterations of the game that were really great and also great looking and were not included or were omitted from the current version of the game. NHL 20 was the last version running on the Ignite engine, and I think the devs have maxed out what the engine could offer, and in my opinion, it is still the best NHL (hockey) game since NHL 2004 and 2010. NHL21 - NHL26 are great games that are gradually improving; however, there were a lot of things that were almost perfect in previous versions of the game. I just recently completed one of the dozens of seasons (NHL, NL, SHL, Czech Extraliga, etc.), and somehow the game felt like it was repeating itself. Despite many animations and players' moves, the game often times feel unnatural in terms of players' movements, their inertia, and their ability to brake or accelerate, which seems very mechanical. All this said, it is meant to be in comparison to NHL 20, not a general judgment. Right after I finished the season (Swiss National League), I tried to play NHL 20, and it felt really fresh. Especially in terms of the players' movement, skating animations, and overall posture of the players, including fluttering jerseys while skating fast, hard brakes and turns, and finally, how goals are scored where AI players actually shoot the puck (blue line included) and not robotically drive it to the net (when DDA is engaged - I am ok with that in general but in NHL 20 it is better executed) Also the menus are better executed without lagging and also small details such as post game screen offers you 3 stars of the game instantly rather than animaiton in a small window where you have to wait to see the best player if you are in for some game immersion. Anyway, that's about it, just a couple of remarks. But last time, when NHL25 was released, I did notice the snow spray is not visible when players brake, and I posted a couple of comments, and the game was eventually fixed a couple of weeks later by a patch. To the EA Sports NHL Development Team, Thank you for your work and for the continuous improvements made to the NHL franchise. I would like to make a clear and specific request that would be greatly appreciated by many players: please add the ability to remove goalie helmets directly in the “Edit Player” menu, just like it is already possible for skaters. At the same time, it would also be highly appreciated to have access to “heritage” helmets and masks from the 1970s and 1980s, with styles inspired by goalies already featured in the game, such as Bernie Parent and Gerry Cheevers. Since this option already exists for skaters (removing helmets), it would simply be a matter of applying the same feature to goalies and providing access to these historical elements. While I have and will continue to value the nhl franchise playing since 15’. This is the only EA Sports game I play. The ratings and xp system needs a major overhaul. I mostly play CHEL. I like the team feel of playing with different types of players . I like to adjust to over all game play of the team. Here’s my qualm. It takes entirely too long to build xp and rank up. The problem with this equates to a snowball of problems . Let me explain…. while you have dedicated fan base and clubs I get that. However drop ins for a newbie is so hard to catch a game where it goes through. People backing out, lobbies crash, I hate starting over each year it’s way too long of a grind. XP should be at triple the pace it takes now. Your dedicated players will keep to club games and do drop ins when club games are not there. you can not have a few low rank/level on a team example…. L22, L7,L36 against a max player, rank 4 lv 15 , Rank 3 lv 2 . Ect….. you get the point. Example today I played 26’ for 7 hrs (mind you with double xp all weekend) it’s May2’ and I went up 2 levels . I had Three hat tricks - 23 g total and -17 assists- I play offense mostly but I’m positional and hold my own on defense. You see the problem here. Really ? 2 lvs with good stats and completing weekly missions and 2X XP? I recommend one of two things . Fix the xp and rating system or remove the rank all together from visibility. This way it eliminates the drop outs , servers tied up always searching for a new lobby, and the game goes back to good old hockey without judgement. Everyone wants to play to win sure. But this would get rid of cherry pickers, trolls, stat padding, and add more team play making it more enjoyable than getting whooped by a maxed out team. Last…. Penalize more for quitting a game. I haven’t thought about this one all the way but, DNF is just a number showing currently. Make a Penalized stat system where you lose stats or something. And make positional play more serious. For the love of hockey, don’t lose what the sport is really meant to be . I invite this to open discussion to see how others might feel.
3rd period lag or cheat?
I’m playing an opponent. We’re tied 2 to 2, suddenly out of nowhere. My team completely changes , they couldn’t pass, they couldn’t skate, pass, activation was nowhere near the puck, couldn’t do nothing, my player will get the puck and then tap it away!!! He proceeds then to score 4 goals in just a few few minutes and I lose this game 6 to 2 I don’t care if I lose and it’s a good game, because I’ve lost enough,, but when the game is neck and neck for the entire time, and suddenly my team completely turns into an 80s rated a team, from 95…. And my team becomes useless. This is absolutely abysmal….. scored three goals in the last minute…. Last minute from the 3 face offs and then proceeds to skate around my defense….. all which are rated 95 and above, and they can’t move!!! Absolute disgraceHut Moment Issue
So I’m trying to beat the Howe score 3 goals shorthanded which is hard enough so I get up 2 and got 1:30 and a timeout left so I’m thinking this is it, I’m finally done with this stupid challenge and then what happens? A cross check, on the Rangers! No way I’m def gonna score now hell yeahhhh 4 on 4! But wait, Howe is out of the game? How do I win when Howe is out of the **bleep** game! Because they got a penalty I get **bleep** ? So I let them score and nothing happens, no Howe in game. This needs fixed. I get it if I got the penalty but how do I stop AI opponent from getting a penalty? Tell me how!!!!Another why?
Why does a a NPC like( yes i know they are supposed to be NHL players) Jonathan Huberdeau get 244 hits when I barely get any hits nowadays as a Power Forward like 144. Plus I see NPC’s shy away from my PC as soon as a make a motion to hit. It seems to have taken any anticipation out of the game for a guy that has played the game of hockey in his life out of the actually being good at a video game based on the game he played. I seem to have to hold the hit button longer to make a hit nowadays. Why?Uncompetitive features in WOC
In a competitive game mode, you should be trying to limit RNG features as much as possible. Instead you guys seem to try and put as many in as possible. There should NOT be random grudge match perks(yeah great they got Red Truculence and we got Red Quick Pick that's fair), broken sticks, broken glass on hits, broken glass on shots, inconsistent penalties. The beautiful thing about a programmed video game is you can remove the infuriating random luck that ruins the flow of the sport. There doesn't need to be missed penalty calls, broken sticks, broken glass(which almost doesnt even happen in real hockey). What's next, are you guys going to add in offside reviews? I just had a game that in one period we broke 3 sticks. Its just awful and kills the game, its stuff like that which makes me and my friends want to simply go play something else. We fight and scratch for a PRIME SCORING CHANCE, bam broken stick, the opposing team comes up the other way and scores on a saucer pass. All own AI players sucks, slow and stupids and opponents AI players are always better! In playoff mode you get only supergood teams against [80-95 win%] This game is for only making money when you look all shop areas... Little kids buying stuff and game sucks... We wanna realistic icehockey game not ice hockey game with bear, moose whale or alien players with silly hat! I hate those because if you look Fifa there isnt those things... playing this game has become a nightmare and I don’t know why I continue… guess because WOC is absolute garbage and offline is bland… so I have to suffer with this 1 v 1 gameplay. This guy literally hadn’t lost a game on his record. Knew how to exploit the game to its full advantage. As you see I was defending well for awhile and I had some good chances on net but his 79th overall goalie was unstoppable… I had a 96 overall that couldn’t even save a weak shot on net… just squeaks right by… The LT trash is annoying! At least fix the poke checking, and stick lifts… I couldn’t hit him because I just get bumped off. Also majority of the game he was just charging at me without the puck at 16mph!!! That is usually a penalty in real hockey! But guess the devs want arcade hockey so their top friends in the game can exploit it more!!! When there is no pressure I have my winger far side and once the puck gets to him his pressure meter goes right down? This happens often and I have no idea why. The lack of care from EA Developers is just mind boggling! You have a team of 200 plus now so why do we keep getting this? Unfortunately Microsoft won’t give a refund for this trash of a game that is full priced for a half finished product! really High scores and high GAA and low save percentages in be a pro goalie mode
I know I had been away, but lately scores are really high and 11 GAA and terrible save percentages in goalie mode be a pro offline, when AI CPU wants to score they score, I have seen default scores now is 5-3 or 3-3 or 4-3 and 12-7 and 8-6 and 8-5, everything is good, but game play of CPU vs CPU is bad and what happened to pass interceptions I can't use any 95-98 seem like they are not defending and I saw several times i had puck and puck still seems to leak through like magic, i also saw where puck seems to magically go down wards and into net which would never happen, everything seems pre-determined with scors going 6-6, so please raise pass interceptions and lower scores, tell me why does Aim-assist not score as much, we must've flung like 30-7 shots and not score o.o😧 I also had my gall bladder out in november-december, now i got plantersfanstis, am 36 years old now 😁A long time gamer board game or Computer games in all platforms.
Why do I have to go through the same beginning in 26 as I did I in 2018 but with less Junior play time? Why can’t all the good parts of passed game be incorporated in the newer games. Be a Pro should be Build A Pro. It should be start at 16 chose a Junior Team or College Team. Okay keep it easy a Junior Team but play 1 year maybe make the National Junior Team then play another year building more skills then maybe a Junior Championship plaid the maybe 2 Memorial Cups. Then get Drafted..Like I said incorporate both old and new games
