GAME IS TRASH!!
I hope no one buys NHL27 and this terrible game company goes under. The goalies are so bad on this game. This company has not made a good NHL in over 10 years. They added more features and didn't fix the problems... Shame on this company. So many glitch goals and yet they don't get fixed. Horrible game wish I could this game on a disc just to burn it.Why
Okay so nowadays you can line a NPC for a hit and bounce off. Why I don’t know? In the other side you are flying down a wing your speed is faster than the defender is skating backwards and as they move to hit you, you think no I should be able to sneak by just like the NPC do to you. Does that happen no they somehow get just a peice of you and there goes the puck. Can you recover the puck? No not usually because you got hit you stagger the NPC recovers the puck. The other scenario is somehow they get a huge hit and you lose 40 points of durability. So my question is why does the BAP not get the same benefits as a regular NPC player( yes they are actually NHL players) but the BAP is also.Active Players.
I remember back in the day, you used to be able to see all the active players in whatever online game mode you were playing? Why did EA take that out? I woooonder when they and going to bring it back as a revamped feature? 🤣. Sitting wait 20mins to play a match of chel. Sometimes hours just to play a few. So annoying 😑
Boss teams once a week!
a mode i like to see is some type of boss mode where it is a weekly challenge and it will cost you coins to play it and every time you lose it will cost you more coins to try again and you will only get so many tries! if the boss team wins the person who put it in gets a reward or coins or something! and if you beat it first try you get a great reward but the more you lose and have to retry your reward goes down each try! have EA make the team or have people put there team in and ea takes the best team for that week or something like that? i think it would be a fun mode and something extra to play besides the same old boring modes especially for single players! maybe have people have to put a card on there team up to lose if they lose or if they win they can pick a card off the boss team? have some type of quick fun mode besides cup champs or wildcard or moments!NHL27 Cup Chase!
things in cup chase i like to see, more options for how long a season is, maybe something like 15, 25, 50? option for continue ot or shootouts! have the announcers act different from regular season and playoffs, also for the moments with like last second goals or important goals, fights, injuries, great saves, have streaks matter, like how many wins in a row, shutouts, power play goals and penalty kills, fights won, how many times you won the cup, maybe show a banner with the cup wins! get extra bonus for scoring 10 plus goals, knocking out starting goalie and putting back up in, bonus for last second goals for a win or tie a game up especially for a playoff game! have the computer act differently for a playoff or regular season game! have options to scout teams, show scores of other games going on, give a bonus for not changing your team during season sticking with the same players through the entire season! hopefully there have been some tweaks to make it more fun!

Sick and tired of glitches and computers not doing anything. | EA Forums - 13399328 Hopefully this is resolved in NHL 27. It is why I barely bothered to score post cross creasers or one timers. My computers would be in awful positions. This is purely just for examples as I've been asked to provide video in the past. So, I took the time to compile plenty of footage to back up my claims.
Same old same old lag cheats
Nothing changes in this game , you call your way back to take a 4 to 3 lead, suddenly my players becomes absolutely bogged down and sluggish. The other team player score 5 goals on seven shots and I lose the game then 9 to 5 with five goals being scored in about three minutes…. This is what I expect in every game now. and I’ll give you a guess of what province they’re fromNhl 27 disapointment
I was happy for the new trailer. Bother me. Watch theres still going to be more LT spamming. I kinda dont care about online. But I guarantee there not very much development put into the offline modes I thought be a pro was a disaster. And my favorite mode, Franchise mode is horrible. And I seen the price tag of 130$ with bunch of useless add ons. Wtf i thought deluxe edition was only going to be like 100$. Not worth the much. Its over priced. People are right about that, game is over priced. Still gonna buy 😞. EA knows people are gonna buy. But what a waste.
NHL 27 Trailer Player Helmet fits
HeyEA_Aljo I noticed in the reveal trailer that many players still have WAY to big of an helmet, which i have complained about for an long time. Is this something that wont be changed? Are the graphics not worth a redo once done? Just look at Bowen Byram from 26, helmet fit is so ridiculously big its insane. Also i noticed Emil Heineman not having an facescan, is that something we can expect again? Limited & low amount of players getting their face in? Back at it again, HeyEA_Aljo Please read this through and pass along the feedback, thanks! Here is a list of players I think deserve a redo, who really need it. Again, I appreciate that you’ve captured some likeness, it doesnt have to be 100% identical either. Some of these have a good scan, some dont. I just dont understand the thought process behind how these are made. It kind of resembles them, but still not really. Wouldnt it be better to just do it properly from the start? This isn’t a complaint, this is just feedback that I hope gets passed along and addressed. Many of these only have issues with hair and helmet fit, which is what my previous post was about, and how customization and more options would be the solution. That way, you could fix it yourself instead of asking for updates. Players are selected based on this season, how theyve developed, established themselves in the league, and what role they have. Many already have fairly high OVR ratings and will likely be even higher in the next game. Wyatt Johnston: Hair needs to be changed, and the helmet fit as well. The scan is okay, but considering he’s developing into a superstar, an update would be justified. Anton Lundell: Hmm, the scan is okay, you can tell it’s supposed to be him. Hair needs to be changed, as well as helmet fit. Niko Mikkola: Same as Lundell. Jamie Drysdale: I think he deserves an update. The likeness is there, but ingame he doesn’t look like himself at all,something feels off. Helmet fit is too big. Zach Benson: Scan is okay! It’s good, but the hair and helmet fit ruin it. Hampus Lindholm: Needs an update. 86 ovr, longtime fulltime NHLer, one of Bostons top defensemen. Remove the beard and it doesnt look like him at all. Dawson Mercer: Again, scan is okay. 84 ovr, a quieter year, but helmet and hair ruin it. Helmet is too big, and same goes for the hair. Brandt Clarke: 23 years old, 86 ovr. Again, scan is okay and the likeness is there, but Id still like an update. Hair and helmet fit ruin it. William Nylander: Scan is okay. Something weird is happening with the hairline on the side of his face. A man of many hairstyles, but it’s been the same since he was added years ago. Being able to change hairstyles on existing face scans would be the solution. William Karlsson: 2019 playoff hero, Stanley Cup winner, 84 ovr, A on his chest, low elite. This is not a face scan, and there’s no real likeness either,he deserves to have his real face included. Tyler Bertuzzi: This speaks for itself Again, this isn’t all of them, there are more, but these are the ones I think deserve an update. Or, as I said, giving us access to fix it ourselves with a new customization system would be ideal. I know many people don’t think this matters, but I know you pay attention to details and aim to create a realistic game, this plays a big part in that. For us offline players, this matters a lot. We want a realistic hockey experience without that arcade feel. Thanks againEA_AljoThings I miss.
The create a play feature. It was a cool idea that needed a little work. Days before total control. Bring skill back to the game. Defense stick. When it first dropped it was awesome. Now it's just useless. More control with shot blocking animations. Add in your face to your player. Was cool way back in the day now with tech should be easy to upload pics and it make a char that looks like you. Hitting sniper build, and other variations we could actually add points too. Lobbies. We miss north east 1 being able to chill and play. Match my goalie and team size. Wrap arounds. Custom music playlist. Net battles? They used to work pretty good. I have no idea what happening now. I have some ideas for the NHL 27 presentation. First and foremost, let’s make the full pressure red boards optional, a lot of us gamers don’t necessarily like it and it should be an option. Second, when a team has full pressure, I heard the home fans rooting for the away team. An example of this was when I was using the Sens in Toronto and the fans were chanting, “Go Sens Go” which is unrealistic and needs to change. The intros need to change, it would be nice if the Be a Pro intros were in the regular games. And as for the arenas, the Kings, Sens and Mammoth arenas are all outdated and the Lightning were missing their arena name last year. I spoke my piece, Thanks EA!
Feature Request: Client Side Mods
Not sure how this would work out for all game mods, but what if the game started to allow client side mods? Multiple different ways this could enhance the game: Allow changing / modification to season mode Drop In: Allow change the players / team / arenas / other things Adjustments to allow full customization to gameplay Probably not possible, since the game isn't available on PC. Also limited since those wouldn't be transferrable well to console players; would require something like Halo, where you can customize the map, customize the rules, change the behavior / physics. But, would open up a complete different way of playing the game. Would allow just not the regular hockey experience, but could open up possibilities of community lead objective games. Imagine play a game with 2 goalies and 24 players big team battle style. In honest, that would be epic. Imagine having to defend against 10 people. Logged, but we are probably not close to this. But maybe something cool can be done with the idea here. We already have some pretty cool, different game modes, but something community derived, may bring in some attention and fun factor.Prospects in AHL
I been playing Franchise mode. And I see alot of good elite high potential prospects that have been in the ahl for a few seasons. Especially on cpu teams. And I dont get why cpu teams dont give they're top prospects time in the NHL. They just get stuck on the minor teams. After a few years they're overall dont change and you can trade for them. Put them on your team, and have them put up career numbers and they overall finally jumps to over 85+. Thats so unrealistic. Reason I stopped playing. Then you can then trade that player for some other rated prospect once they get too much too sign. Seems like no prospects at all develop even with having career years in the minors and going deep in the playoffs. Trying everything having really good coaches. Shouldnt only just work in the NHL. I really hope EA fixes this. Supposed too be the best EA sports game. Making minor to none improvements to this game every year. This is why I prefer to play Hockey Legacy Manager or especially Franchise Hockey Manager. I wish someone would come and challenge EA to put the best sports games out. Lots of these games are starting to feel like that. I would honestly prefer playing EA but why cant they just make improvements too the whole game as a whole. Franchise Mode is my go too. And I dont play it no more at all. FYI. This my first year buying NHL game again since 13. And kind seems very little improved since then. Adding things back into the game that was already in the game then that they took out. Even the gameplay was better then. No LT spamming. With unrealistic physics. Seems like they trying to do too much and it just being counter productive.Please let us control multiple teams in Franchise!
I have given up long ago on EA ever adding new offline customization options such as a real colour hex pallet, new logos or proper AHL jerseys. However, due to this game’s awful, terrible, garbage simming engine I only find the game fun when i’m actually playing hockey. Thus, I would still like to capitalize on my enjoyment of being creative and playing a good hockey game (gameplay wise) by making my own custom league in franchise. Sadly, I cannot do this due to the fact that I can only control one team and not every team. The whole point of what I am trying to do is to take as much of the CPU out of the experience as possible and having it control 15/16 custom teams very much ruins that point. Thus, I am forced to play “Play Now” games and manually track and record data (since custom leagues isn’t in the season mode for whatever reason and I don’t want to use another league’s schedule obviously). This whole thing, along with making draft classes out of created players, is a MASSIVE pain in the butt that does not need to be in the game. ONE simple feature would save me so many hours that i would actually play your game. Whereas in reality I did this in NHL 24 and cannot imagine doing the same thing again in a game that offers me no value to putting in so much work. NHL 26 looks and feels better than the past like 5 editions by far, if we can just give a tiny amount of care to the offline community I would greatly appreciate it and I would, without a doubt, by your game for the first time in years.Franchise mode sim engine
Going to keep this brief, started a new franchise. Made it to the playoffs, beat Montreal in 5, beat Florida in 5, and somehow lost to the islanders…. Yes the islanders, in 4 games, and somehow they scored around 5 goals a game sometimes more (yes again the islanders are going to the SCF in year one) if that doesn’t say something about the way this game reflects real life idek…Pure hockey mode
Just an old school pure simulation hockey mode. Where we can play 3s - 6s keep your xfactor nonsense. But let's is og league players have a sim mode. Show some love to the discord leagues and make it easier for them to run leagues ect. Easy stat tracking, and draft options for them. Like for frack sakes! How to sell thousands of copies for 27.
