BAP storyline
I’ve made multiple archetypes on offense and defense and honestly all storylines are the same. Disappointing to say the least, I feel storylines should be dynamic based of position/archetype (mainly archetype) I feel coach’s / Gm’s should recognize what build we have and how we can be useful/implemented into the team and move into the line as needed. After rookie year the storyline is pretty stagnant and I would say atleast in previous years challenges forced you to play multiple season and do certain objectives. I don’t really even want to begin about the stamina/energy glitch that hasn’t been addressed that leads to X factors being in equipped due to not meeting requirements. Please for the love of god let us have more control over the archetype like in chel instead of the same names , let us max out certain attributes to achieve elite level X factors and make the game dynamic… you guys make every other career game more dynamic than nhl and its absolute **bleep** to the nhl community but hey not my game just a guy who bought it and hoped for the best .

Playing NHL since nhl 16. I’m moslty a BAP player, always had fun since right now in NHL26. It’s is awful. I’ve made 3 characters: a 6”0 174 LBS. I’ve been block at 84 acceleration and agility. Second is a 6”0 164 LBS, 84 Acceleration 86 agility. My last is a 5”11 165 LBS. I’m block at 82 acceleration and 85 agility. What is that seriously ?! I’m a sniper and I can’t even pass the D I skate for 1 sec and my player want to die and I always boost the performance after each game and he is still trash. It’s not a be a pro anymore, it’s be a mediocre. EA plz change that soon or at least in the next NHL. Till now I’ll stop playing or go back to 25..

If you could pass on to EA, to adjust their pack clock from DST to the present. Free Prototype pack should be out at 5 EST. But it has been late because of the clock being set forward 1 hour. Now its been 6. This has been daily now. Time to wake up out there in BC. And set the time right . ThanksStamina needs to be removed from WOC.
Stamina would matter in WOC if we could change lines, but we cant so take it away completely. No stamina loss is the answer to making this game fun again in WOC and its pretty evident after playing the Shamrock Slapshot Showdown. Allowing players to not lose stamina also helps to nerf the big/ogre truc builds b/c you can get back up and actually catch them. This game tries to do simulation hockey but uses arcade-like features/animations to get there. The pressure system also seems to have minimal effect here proving that it should be removed from the game as well.
WOC Threes Eliminator - 1st Game Played Bug
Been like this for MONTHS now and not fixed after many updates. For players playing on a different console, it continues to say "1st Game Played" even if you are in the third round or if they have 10 tournament championships. It says that no matter what. Please fix - I was told this would be fixed months ago.Any Acknowledgement?? Known issue!!
Holy smokes!!! 50% of the lobbies are still crashing. I'm still hearing people from other lobbies in my headset when I'm in the MAIN MENU. How has this match making not been addressed yet. Totally unacceptable for a full priced game. Has EA even acknowledged the abysmal match making and lobby crashes??? Come on! Stop coming out with garbage pay to play builds and useless content and FIX THE BASICS OF THE GAME. Totally inexcusable. People should be fired over this. Introduction Hello EA Sports Team and Community, With the recent changes regarding Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and the growing popularity of college hockey, I am formally requesting the introduction of a fully licensed NCAA Hockey suite in NHL 26. We have seen the massive success of EA Sports College Football 25, and the hockey community is ready for that same depth. The Proposal We aren't just looking for generic "collegiate" jerseys. We are asking for a dedicated NCAA experience that bridges the gap between Junior hockey and the NHL draft. Key Features Requested: "Road to the Frozen Four" Mode: A "Be a Pro" style career path where you start in Junior or High School, get recruited by major NCAA programs (e.g., Boston College, Michigan, Denver, North Dakota), and play for a National Championship before turning pro. Include the real tournament structure and the "Frozen Four" atmosphere. Franchise Mode Integration: Fix the current scouting gap. Instead of just seeing a text name for a prospect in the USA, let us scout actual NCAA stats and performance. Allow drafted players to stay in college for development (just like in real life) without signing immediately, risking them becoming free agents after 4 years (the "Jimmy Vesey" rule). Atmosphere & Presentation: NCAA hockey has arguably the best crowd atmosphere in the sport. Please include student sections, fight songs (like "The Victors" or "O Ma Baba"), and smaller, louder arenas. Why Now? Legal hurdles regarding player likenesses have largely been removed due to NIL deals. If EA can do it for College Football, the framework exists for Hockey. This would be the single biggest content update to the franchise in a decade and would bring back many lapsed fans. Thank you for considering this request!
NHL 26 Feedback
Since most of my playing was on the Sega Genesis 91-97 last century, take my comments from the perspective of an old geezer who dabbled in NHL 26, and had issues just trying to find the menu item to "play with a friend" locally in the waterfall of cascading menus. This crusty gamer went ahead and bought NHL 26, because, well, he loves hockey and gaming. Coming in during the middle of Season 2, a world of hockey gaming twists was opened upon him. The game now had card collecting as part of it's structure. Smart, joining two hobbies into one, EA. Suppose it was inevitable, but EA did it. It's funny how the thrill of the pack opening resembles the thrill of gambling, but for all ages! ;) I must say, with the memories of the past game, it's amazing the amount of content, the options, and the dazzling mechanics of the game. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely, knowledge is always limited and continually needing being added to. But, let's give the developers a little credit, they read this stuff and watch social media for comments, criticisms, and, rarely, compliments. This will be leaning toward the latter. Good job guys. In between coffee breaks and the occasional shower, you have managed to create a great game in my opinion. Unfortunately, the speed and ease of commercial consumption has led to the sometimes unrealistic demands of consumers. But through all the criticism, through all the negative comments, we have to remember, we are showing that we truly love the game. Otherwise, why would we bother writing? After skating into HUT Cup Chase, I was pulled into the card collecting aspect of the game. I found real card collecting nteresting, but never got into it like others. But it hooked me. The art is cool on the cards of each set and player. They could probably do well as NFTs. Could you imagine owning a truly unique player to put on your line? Uh-oh, did I just unleash something? Then through social media, forums like this, and videos, I gave HUT Wildcard a try. "Hmm, ok, this is cool, so this is where 3v3 is. What's with this scoring moneypuck stuff? Oh that's cool, brings some leveling of the playing field and upsets into it." After more videos and forums, I tried HUT Moments. Wow, another great twist to the game. And another currency? "Man, there's a lot of different currencies in this game. But wait, they tie together with the other modes of the game. Wow, that's neat, can't really get bored with all the types of hockey modes, possibilities, and rewards." Being an offline player and playing at rookie level, I know the guys that are online are incredibly good. The equivalent of firing up an online FPS and getting hit by a headshot as soon as you spawn. Getting into HUT Moments had me playing against pros, causing me to improve my game. "Ok, I see, pass faster, be sure to have a lane, cycle the puck..." This method of leading the player up the skill ladder, is clever. We have to appreciate the developers intelligence on this one. EA wants everyone to play, and do a good job leveling the ice for all players. In hindsight, I thought it might be nice to have an overview help section in the game, not online, there's too much to sift through on the different websites. A handy in-game manual of game types, currencies, controller configurations, button assignments and combinations. (This might quiet the L2 glitch critics showing that EA is aware of it?) On the other hand, it's a fun challenge exploring all the options. It still keeps me entertained. In closing, let's give the EA team a stick salute on the ice, they are listening and trying to give us what we want. The EA team is just as alive as we players and wanting to do a good job, so we can have a good time and they can put food on their tables. I'll go back to the game now, I'm in the finals of my offline Cup Chase season, and am about to finish the HUT Moments objectives for more 89s to put into my first-ever created master set player. Think I'll get Gretzky, but I like Roy too. If ya get someone too good, the rest of the line can't keep up. It's a great feature of Wildcard that one gets to actually try new players before committing the time and effort into obtaining them. After that, I'll finish the Trade Quest event and season 3 with more than I expected and had so much fun with the game. I'd say I got more than my money's worth. When it gets aggravating that I can't complete a moment on the first try, I appreciate the opportunity to get better that EA has afforded, I'll be able to be a worthy opponent online someday. When I don't win enough to make it to the cup Chase finals, I look at all the rewards I received along the way and am glad that the game developers can demand and pull more skill from me. When I finally do get that 91 ovr player as a reward, it's a juicy, fulfilling moment. It's about having fun and when it becomes too aggravating, I know I need a break. Take a deep breath, pet the dog, and find a way to get back to having fun. That's not to say, EA, that we wouldn't mind you patching a few things up and releasing new content while you're at it. There's always room for improvement and hence, you have a little job security. Now go take a shower, have a cup of coffee, and do your best to integrate all the stuff in the comments and social media that we want into the game. Fix the stuff that's broken, and keep us happy in hockey-land, mmm-kay? Oh, and we're gonna need you to come in on Sunday too, mmm-kay?.....thaaanks! Hey. This is seriously one of the thing that needs to get possible. Deleting current and creating totally new IS NOT an option cause team level is so high than it would take forever to get is back. Cannot understand that we still haven't possibility to change it. Why cannot we have option for change? I would even pay little bit for that option. First time for free and if there is need to change it again it would pay like 5-10€. My team has almost similar name with team what plays same serie than mine so it is kinda stupid so possibility for change would be good to have. I don't think that people would change their teams name just for fun if it would pay little amount of money. One time for free and if needed then it would pay so can also keep all the stuff team got cause it is seriously annoying to grind team again and one time this has been done at previous version... It was not fun. Ofc if there is some secret option please tell it so can make the change and keep everything my team has.Presentation and athmosphere wishlist

Is there something special you need to do to get stadium upgrades such as the glow sticks for fans, the on ice pregame spotlights, etc? I have a club with a couple buddies of mine, we played over 60 games in club finals, won 2 elite cup banners, got to division 3 playing quite a few games, yet we got horrible/useless drops from the bags. Are there like challenges you need to complete to get the actual cool stadium drops/upgrades? Can we just buy them somewhere? I'm really hoping the answer is not "keep opening and bags and pray" because that will be one way to just continue to kill an already struggling player baseCap change
Ea. You have to seriously look at the mess you have created. You have a cap of 180 mil, while doling out new players with salaries in the 12 to 15 mil area. The line combinations are nothing more than a scavenger hunt. Trying to find combinations that fit. However. The cap reduction is so small, that building a line with a total salary of 18 mil (6 mil a player), at best only reduces the cap by 8 mil. Leaving you with 10 in the red, added to your salary base. Players have acquired higher rated cards over the past season, to now see. They have to drop certain higher rated cards to remain cap complient. This whole process is a total joke, releasing higher rated players that now become redundant under this senseless cap. Either increase the total cap. Or create a much larger, sensible line combination. Looking at the Overall. Its strickly a base lineup of players. Its March. Players are far past using base players in their lineups. The question then remains. Why bring out higher salaried players if because of the low cap and useless line combos, you cant use. This total concept i truly hope, is not in your plans for the 27 version. Because its a failure in 26.Elim unplayable in chel
The elim mode In chel is unplayable this year and there’s a few reasons why Firstly red truculence is so overpowered In eliminator you’ll get hit once and spend the rest of the game lying on the floor no matter the size of your player, it seems like you get past them and then still get put on the ice Secondly and more importantly the rank system is horrendous I can win 5-6 games in a row against similar ranks and only get about 150 rank points per game but if I loose 1 game against a team of lower ranks I’ll loose about 800 rank points it’s the same if the team are all higher ranks but one player is lower you’ll loose so much rank points if you loose but won’t get any if you winRidiculous gameplay
This game really needs a new ai engine. After all these years it keeps getting worse. Im not great but I am way better than half these other players and yet I get smoked half the time. These guys go undefeated for multiple game on end and I barely win 2. I do EXACTLY the same things the do and clearly doing work the same, I poke check just like them at the right time and I get a penalty. Like seriously how in the world are people saying its great cause its not.WOC Store
The World of CHEL store in NHL 26 has been pretty disappointing this year. There’s barely any jersey variety, and it feels like the same stuff keeps coming back on the same days every week. After a while, it just gets repetitive and makes customization way less fun. For me, the biggest thing is the Habs Winter Classic jersey. I had it in past years, but this year it’s gone and still hasn’t come back. One of my buddies had a jersey disappear, too, and that’s what really made me notice how repetitive the store cycle is. Once we saw that certain jerseys were just gone, it became obvious the store was mostly rotating the same kinds of items. It’s also annoying that the part of the store that seems to change the most is the NHL Points section, where you have to spend real money. Meanwhile, the stuff you can get with CHEL coins you actually earn in the game doesn’t seem to get updated nearly as much. I just think they need to add more jerseys, bring back icon jerseys, and stop making the store feel so repetitive. Customizing your character is one of the best parts of World of CHEL, and right now, it just feels way more limited than it should. Do you guys agree, or is there any jersey or other item you’ve been waiting to see come back too?
