Impossible to complete the weekly event without paying?
I’ve only been playing for a couple of months so this might be normal, but the mayor’s pass points for this week’s event are only 40 per tier for each weekly assignment (versus 50 or 100 in the double-points third week). By my calculation, it’s impossible to earn enough to complete it with buying a sim cash offer bundled with extra mayor’s pass points. Am I missing something here?34Views0likes4CommentsMajor Service Bug - New Player Gameplay Hindered
I am reporting a critical bug that is halting my city's progression just a few days after starting. I am experiencing the "Major Service Bug": water and sewage icons show as missing despite having more than enough capacity. When I move an affected building, the problem moves with it. All my buildings were placed in the last three days and all are affected. As an experienced player starting a new city, this completely blocks my ability to grow and progress. I have attached two screenshots showing the service overcapacity and the persistent error icons on my buildings. I expect this issue to be fixed. If a core gameplay bug like this remains unresolved, I will request a refund for my in-game purchases or start a formal dispute of the credit card charges.German_Robby4 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer158Views1like5CommentsGTHQ wether to Advertise or not
What follows are my own thoughts on this topic, they suit me, may help some of you but are by no means perfect for all. Bear that in mind if you reply. Now there are many posts about improving GTHQ, e.g. item selectable filtering. EA realistically are not going to implement that. However we the players do control what appears in GTHQ, since it’s only advertised items. So seriously consider before you advertise. If you would buy it on GTHQ advertise if you would NOT buy it DON’T advertise Pros Cons Can be a quick way to sell factory / commercial goods rather than waiting for Daniel to buy them Even 1 advertised item opens your whole inventory when visited via GTHQ, not just the advertised items. If you have advertised items you take a risk trying to trade with players in your alliance due to the above issue. Advertise and your depot is public. Daniel will come along and buy at the price you set anything that has been in your depot for 3 days (2 in the case of disaster items) What you shouldn’t advertise (IMHO) Expansion items, even if you don’t need them. Level 23/24 is a pain as all you see in GTHQ is Mountain and beach items. The Never ever advertise storage items. The bigger your storage the easier the game. Metal and wood factory materials, as these can be quickly obtained if you manage your factories. Much better to turn them into commercial items first. Something at the end of a production chain like Burgers. Why buy something if you can’t turn it into something else and make a profit. So by all means advertise bread, beef and BBQ’s but not Burgers that I can’t profit from What you should advertise (IMHO) Commercial items useable in production chains such as Nails, Planks, Hammers are more likely to sell than metal and wood. Look at GTHQ, see what it is selling and advertise something it isn’t. Rarely advertised commercial items will be pounced on when they appear in GTHQ because they are so hard to find. The above mentioned hammers for example.29pqrnu6b99d4 hours agoRising Hotshot8Views0likes0Comments✨Service 2.0 Update - Feedback Thread✨

The game glitched I guess.
Even after providing adequate services to the Sims, the demand is lesser than the capacity but they still ask for connections and stay unhappy, I invested a lot and built surplus buildings for this, but still the issue stays this way. Result, the population and taxes fall, we don't earn money to do anything in the game. I hope someone from the technical team pays attention and resolves this ASAP.26Views1like0CommentsServices aren't working , Now the game become 🤡
am experiencing a serious bug in Simcity buldit sewage and waste are not reaching buildings even though all roads are connected and utilities are built correctly, I rebuilt the city multiple times, moved utilities, and verified all connections. The issue persists. my population dropped from over 1100,000 to about 500,000. 🥲😡04vb8te4btbr13 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer235Views6likes8CommentsSimCity BuildIt Entertainment Index System Ruins Progression
Dear EA Support Team, I am writing to express my deep frustration with the recent changes to the Entertainment specialization and index system in SimCity BuildIt. The new entertainment index requirements are honestly a very bad idea—they make no sense for progression and actively ruin the gameplay experience for loyal players.Specifically, almost none of the monthly Mayor's Pass or event entertainment buildings contribute to the entertainment index at all. This means that, after building the Entertainment HQ, it is literally impossible to unlock further entertainment buildings without spending huge amounts of SimCash—such as the 550 SimCash for the Football Stadium. The majority of other available buildings (Oktoberfest Funfair, Archery Competition, etc.) don't count for index and therefore stall any real progress. This system is extremely frustrating and punishes players who put time into collecting and building special event items. The index gates do not improve gameplay; they just slow everything down and force people to pay for progression. Please reconsider this pointless design and restore a fair, logical progression path for entertainment buildings so players—especially those who dedicate time to events—can actually enjoy building their cities.416Views5likes1CommentSeveral issues lately
Hello, I'd like to address several issues that have been bothering me recently. I don't know if it's all related to the update, but you probably know better. Town Album: I'm trying to complete the weekly Town Album. Since you started requiring an attraction to be upgraded, this goal has become almost impossible. I need 45,000 coins by tomorrow to upgrade Santa's Airport to level 6. I'm collecting all the coins that can be earned in the Mayor's Competition. I even bought the Mayor's Pass to get those coins as well. I'm also watching ads to get more coins. However, all of this is nowhere near enough to reach the goal. For me, completing the Town Album is no longer feasible, so I won't be investing any more in it. I've spent all my special coins on it and have nothing left to exchange for other buildings. Ads: For some time now, it's been happening quite often that when I click on "Show Ads," no ad appears. So I won't receive the reward either. That's a real shame. Illegal Advertising: One of your advertising partners is not reputable. They are displaying ads with illegal content. Well-known brands are being misused, such as LIDL, DM, or the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen" (Shark Tank Germany) to sell dubious products. You're treading on very thin ice here. Furthermore, it's not possible to report the content as inappropriate to this advertising partner. Wheel of Fortune: When I use the Wheel of Fortune and click on an ad, I often see a commercial, but the wheel doesn't spin. It often takes two commercials to get a tiny reward. This is uninteresting to me. It's a shame, because the idea behind it is good. I hope you can use my feedback and that these points will be reviewed and addressed. Mayoral Competition: In the fourth week of the competition, I failed to reach the building the last two times, even though I completed all the tasks I could. This task was simply impossible for me. I always managed it before. Again, the task was made too difficult. Merry Christmas!miseidl5102 days agoRising Novice83Views0likes0CommentsGame

Recently I have not been able to collect my daily $15 Sim Cash! When I click on the link to the sight it is grey out and I can't obtain my bonus. Any suggestion or idea how to get the link to work. I have logged out of my EA account and signed back in to the game. i do not have Facebook. Thankst92rp0ixvsvf2 days agoNew Traveler27Views0likes1CommentMayors Pass Points Weekly Cap
I understand EA are trying to make our Golden Tickets useful, but putting a weekly cap doesn't help solve the problem it makes it worse why not keep the daily task the same put like 20 golden tickets, at neighbourhood and go up by like 5 or 10 for each league. It makes no sense having a weekly cap that max out that quick. The old Com didn't handle the used of Golden Tickets because there was 15 but you add over 90 assignments that require Golden why not 30 instead, we should have majority of the task as regular not lock behind Golden Tickets come on EA.SolvedReal23bro1233 days agoRising Novice238Views1like7CommentsWorst CoM season
this season is the worst for bonuses. This week cannot be accomplished without purchasing the 50,000+ snowflakes at the beginning of the week for $7.99. It takes like 100+ residential upgrades (25 Cozy Houses to full upgrade) to earn enough snowflakes to get anything beyond what you get in the weekly bonus and CoM bonuses, which is a huge resource drain. You can only earn 600-700 snowflakes to fully upgrade one cozy house. I’m 30,000 snowflakes short of Level 5 and still have to build Level 6, which I have no idea how many snowflakes that is. And the balue of the items is completely ridiculous. I tried building the seasonal items to earn snowflakes but what they give you for the effort is minuscule. 250 snowflakes for 2 sleighs? That take about 4-5 hours of item building for each one?? Then you have to wait another 1.5 hours to sell more??? That is crazy. I hope next month is better or I will have to start looking for a better game to spend my time and money on.6b953361148a6a0f3 days agoSeasoned Novice48Views0likes0CommentsHow do I get rid of stars
I just manufactured 108 stars to fulfill a CoM task, and now I can't do anything with them. They show on the material storage, but not at the trade depot. Net result- I've flooded my material storage with no way to get rid of them. Also I just started to build 3 "cozy homes" and can't find what shop is supposed to be making a sleigh, wreath, or present. Santa's Workshop is not open. What the heck have you guys done???? I'm running the latest version available at the App Store- 1.72.0.1486555a448135aa2740c53 days agoRising Traveler550Views5likes14Comments- iLoVeBiLdiNG73 days agoRising Novice178Views1like8Comments
