What happened in your game today?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. XCharlaSim25 minutes agoSeasoned Adventurer69KViews95likes9887CommentsFunny pics
Do you ever capture pictures from fun or awkward situations in your game? Often my sims will make me smile just because they did position weirdly, making a totally normal situation look funny. - Hello again, Hairdresser, I got a complaint! Your solution turned out to be unpractical. Are you sure I can't have a ponytail, without the horse?6.1KViews53likes639CommentsWhat’s your craziest storyline?
Okay I wanna hear people’s craziest storylines, and I don’t mean “my sims partner cheated on her”. I want real juicy storylines. Want to spice up my sims gameplay so hopefully some of your stories will help!Lion-In-A-Teacup7 hours agoSeasoned Scout210Views3likes14CommentsQ&A: Enchanted by Nature
#AD (just in case this counts as social media) I was invited to join the CFE (not final build) opportunity for The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature. Thank you to the EA Creator Network for this chance to answer questions for you about the pack! I will be taking and answering mainly questions about gameplay, dancing with Fairies, foraging for Apothecary Ingredients, reciting Fables, upsetting the Balance, souring the Luck, WooHooing in the Sky and seducing our new favourite Greenie Meanie, Spruce! Plus I'll give you info on Fairies, new Skills/Traits/Aspirations/Career/Lore/Systems and anything else you guys want to know about! And there's a lot. I haven't had as much time as I wanted to play with this one around work, so am still learning as I go. I can always cheat up levels if you need info I don't have yet, etc. I haven't played cross-pack yet, because I want to compare what's available with and without it, but if you do have cross-pack questions, add them in and I'll answer when I can. The embargo has already lifted at time of posting and I'll break answers down into spoilers (if they are working yet, if not, replies) in case you just want to know some things and keep the rest a mystery. Format will be similar to past Q&As where I have links to each subject and add more info to each based on questions asked and as I discover things through gameplay. If you didn't see it the first time you look, check on the subject post again later. I'll add [WIP] if there's still info to come. Index to follow. Let me know if there's something I forgot. You know the drill... May your Mischief be merry, and your Luck be good! P.S. - I also have a Creator Code now, so if you find my Q&A useful you might consider it as an option at checkout. This doesn't give you a discount, but it would give me a 5% commission on price of the pack. If you wish to use it, my code is EmmaVane. Just enter the code on the the payment screen where promo codes normally go. Thank you, EA for this opportunity. Follow the whispers on the wind and unlock new woodworking and nature-themed rewards, including the new Reclaimed Woodworking Table, just for logging in! Get ready for a free, limited-time Event that begins on June 24, 2025 at 9 a.m. PST and ends on August 5, 2025, where you’ll need to venture into the great outdoors and hone your handiness skill to discover a long-hidden secret of nature. One fateful day, you hear a faint voice as you step outside. The voice is fleeting and is soon gone, as if carried away by the wind itself. Still, you long to hear it again, and so you journey forth to discover the source of the whispers. Your adventure will be rewarded throughout the Event with new free items such as The Wooden Throne outhouse. This new off-the-grid toilet can be the perfect place for Sims to handle their business out of doors, or even a spot for a little restroom rendezvous! How Does it Work? Open Live Mode with an existing or new Household. Your Sim will soon hear barely audible whispers in the wind, encouraging them to spend time outdoors and get in touch with nature, all with the hopes of hearing the mysterious voice again. As you progress, you’ll spend more time outdoors, level up your handiness with new woodworking recipes, and uncover the mysteries of nature. The more Quests you complete, the more Event Points and rewards you’ll earn. The Event will run for six weeks in total, with two new and exciting Quests each week for the first four weeks. The final two weeks of the Event is a grace period, where Simmers can catch-up, continue completing Quests, and claiming their rewards. How to take part in the Nature’s Calling Event: Make sure you’re online. Log in to your EA account. Enter Live Mode, where you’ll see the first pair of Quests, which start with a pop-up. In Live Mode, access the Event Screen by clicking on the Event Icon! Earn Event Points by completing Quests and Goals. As you earn Event Points, you’ll be able to claim new rewards. Claim your rewards through the Event Screen in the Main Menu or Live Mode by selecting Claim. Note: You must be in Live Mode to claim Consumable rewards. Claimed rewards will be available in Build Mode, Create a Sim, your Sim’s Personal Inventory, or the Household Inventory. Filter to view Event rewards using the Event Rewards filter. Find this under the Special drop-down in both Create a Sim and Build Mode. For more help with claiming rewards, check out our EA Help article. Each week, two new Quests will be available. Complete these Quests to earn more Event Points and unlock new rewards! Nature’s Calling Optional Goals Throughout the Nature’s Calling Event, you’ll have opportunities to earn extra Event Points through Optional Goals. These Optional Goals require you to own certain The Sims 4™ Expansion Packs in order to complete them. But fret not! None of these goals are required to complete the Nature’s Calling Quests and all non-consumable rewards will be earnable by all Simmers. Completing these goals will simply award bonus Event Points, allowing you to unlock rewards slightly faster and claim additional consumable rewards. These Optional Goals will be clearly denoted in the Quest panel. Note: Simmers who own the featured Expansion Packs will not be required to complete Option Goals in order to complete Quests. However, if all of the Required Goals for a Quest are completed prior to the completion of an Optional Goal, the Quest will be completed, and the Optional Goal will be lost, along with its associated Event Points. We recommend that Simmers prioritize the Optional Goals first before moving on to the Required Goals for a Quest. Expansion Packs featured in the Nature’s Calling Event Optional Goals include: The Sims™ 4 Cats & Dogs The Sims™ 4 Snowy Escape The Sims™ 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack The Sims™ 4 Lovestruck Week 1 Do-it-yourself with the Reclaimed Woodworking Table! My apologies for starting a new spammers thread, but the old one is not very user-friendly on the new forums. Plus, it's in the sims franchise discussion section--not sure what that's about. Anyways, for those that are new to this thread, the rules are simple; post as many screenshots as you want, while limiting the dialogue to what's going on in the shot, or the reason for the shot New forum, new screenshot spammers thread--let's rock it 😃NateWhiplash17 hours agoSeasoned Ace5.2KViews15likes758CommentsPositive Thoughts Thread: Enchanted By Nature

Hi everyone! In one of my Legacy Challenges (the Follow the Whim Legacy) I’m wrapping up generation 4, and it’s time to pick the heir for generation 5. The catch? According to my challenge rules, I’m not allowed to choose the heir myself! That’s where you come in. 😊 I’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to read the introductions below and leave a vote in the comments for your favorite. Your input means a lot! Thanks in advance! 💕 --- Kane Hampton Kane is the oldest one of the three eligible heirs. Kane's mother is Hannah Hampton, the current heir, and his father is Russell, Hannah's first boyfriend with whom things sadly didn't turn out, but at the same time they couldn't quite let each other go either. Long story short, Kane came into the world because of them. Kane is a mermaid, which he inherited from his mom, who turned herself into one. His traits are Green Fiend and Evil, but honestly he's not even evil, I always forget he has this trait cause he doesn't act like it xD If he happens to become the next heir, I'm thinking he's feeling like he missed so much time with his dad that he moves in with him in Strangerville. From there on, I'll see what happens :P Abel Hampton Abel is the middle child who was conceived through science. After Russell, Hannah got together with a woman named Maritza and they wanted kids together too. Abel is a normal Sim and has the traits Proper and Loves Outdoors. Let me tell you, he's like the perfect son in law, I tell you that. If he happens to become the next heir, we'll probably move out to Mt. Komorebi. This world sounds very fitting for him in my mind. Aubrie Hampton Aubrie is the youngest child who was conceived through science, just like Abel. Sadly her bond with Maritza wasn't good for a really long time and that definitely left scars. She's pretty quiet and likes to be left alone, or with pets. She seems to be content with her current life on Sulani, surrounded by the beautiful islands. Aubrie is a normal Sim and has the traits Child of the Islands and Dog Lover. When she becomes the next heir, it feels like I should stay in Sulani because of her traits. I don't know if this will limit me or not.SkeilahTS422 hours agoSeasoned Ace85Views2likes8CommentsLegacy storylines?
Hey everyone! I’m about to kick off the start of my generation 4 of my sims legacy (I’m not really playing a legacy challenge but I do set myself little challenges to complete while I’m playing with certain households (e.g. one of my sims owns a restaurant and we’re trying to get it to 5 stars). I have so many sims in my generation 4, I’ve been playing rotationally between my gen 1 sims children (most are elders now 😭). But, I wanna spice up my gameplay for my gen 4 sims! Most of my other generations I haven’t been ready to start until they’re YA’s but am very excited to hop back into playing teens. so my question is do you have any ideas for side characters I can create to fit into this world? My boyfriend recommended making football teams (which I’ve already done, 2 rival 5-a-side teams), but any other ideas? I haven’t been making over my townies while I’ve been playing because I focused on the vampire side of my legacy family for most of generation 2 and 3 (I’ve learnt my lesson now tho 😂). Any advice, tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏15Views0likes1Comment- LRightJA2 days agoRising Newcomer44Views0likes1Comment

I started a limited pack save to explore the new pack. With so many DLC the game is becoming so complex. Taking out a bunch of content helped me to focus on what actually comes with the pack. Here is my current set up get together: clubs are essential to get groups of friends together cottage living: complements the build/buy items, new options for farming Life and Death: the spooky vibe goes well with the magic of the new pack Businesses and Hobbies: not really needed but I like the tattoo options an a few other things. Realm of Magic: build/buy goes well with the new items. unforturnaly spellcasters do not werewolves: great for foraging sims living in nature. I also want to explore fairy/werewolf friendship crystal creations: supports the magical vibe The main conclusionsso far is that seasons really transformed the game.WWithout seasons the world suddenly looks so bright and cheerful. No gloomy clouds. Growing plants is so easy without seasons. All plants in all worlds are ready to be harvested. No messages that they are out of season. And no messing with greenhouses. What packs do you think are good combinations with the new pack? Do you sometimes turn off certain packs to explore new content?atreya332 days agoLegend186Views7likes11Comments- 30KViews42likes3630Comments
