My account has been banned for "cheating". Just after I've spent money on the in game currency as well. Now I wouldn't be here if I had been cheating, I would likely just take it on the chin. Now I know not everyone here maybe being honest about them not cheating but it seems that there is a real issue with people getting banned under false pretences. I've checked out the rules and I haven't broken those rules. Infact I play with my partner and friends. All of us are rather confused, after telling my partner who plays in the same room as me and them having a good laugh about it responded "could they atleast change your score to reflect that of a cheating?".
My friends asked me I have an overlay for discord or something, which I do not. It's even been suggested that playing on the controller might have made it seem like I was using aim assist. Which as much as I need all the help I can, is standard part of using the controller right? I mean I play it on P.C, sometimes I do switch mouse and keyboard.
I have emailed your support and asked what it is they think I've done to cheat. Because honestly I was at a loss. I thought maybe the guy swearing at me down the mic Russian, who I told to "stfu" had reported me and EA was very strict. Because thats about the most offense worthy thing I have done. Except my clearly amazing first person shooter skills that got someone so mad I assume they must reported me out of salt. Which I am not being funny it was one of my last games I remember playing, I totally unloading my rampage clip into someones head... Atleast next to their head, I'm not sure if I even clipped them. The gold standard of major league gaming and of course cheating!
I don't know if you rendezvous with other companies but I don't have any bans on any of my other accounts such as on Steam, Xbox, Blizzard or even Riot games for hacking/cheating. I know my EA account is connected atleast to my Steam account and Xbox.
As much as it is quite annoying to watch my partner and friends play this without me. I don't play many triple AAA games with the exception of Total War, EU4, League and hearthstone. I more of a strategy gamer. So I'd quite happily just to get my money back. Which I might not be the smartest person in the world but I'm not stupid enough to spend on a game I'm "cheating" on. If got my money back and even had my account banned, I'd deal with it. Hell I'd do you a solid, I'd do more than that. I'd not play any other EA games, from the sheer kindness of my heart. Not that I can think of off the top of my head, I mostly play indie.
I know you keep reiterating that you cannot do anything about this but lowkey if there is anything you can do, please. If I hadn't literally just spent money on it and grinded enough for my first champion and my friends/partner are currently playing this game. I'd really be less bothered. Just the feeling of frustration at the kind of absurdity of being banned for something that haven't done and is just not you. If there is someone whos just made a quick final, could you even ask them to get a second opinion on the matter?
Thank you for your time, if you are reading this. Sorry for being long winded, I'm just like that. Have a good day
