BSOD or full system freeze when game launched via Steam on W10 Home

Hello, Just yesterday, my Windows 10 Home machine started BSOD for no simple reason any time I try to launch Apex Legends, and it often gives me security warnings when launching VRChat for various system32 files that aren't native to Windows 10. Both have Easy Anti-Cheat. All other apps work fine; it's just this one game that is bricking my entire system, but I cannot understand why. The only notable things I've done in the last few days are downloading a game called The Finals on Steam, and a few mp4 files from Google Drive. No shady apps, no questionable websites.

UPDATE: Sometimes, instead of a BSOD, my desktop stutters for a few minutes and becomes a static image, requiring a forced restart.

The error codes in the BSOD are:

  • CORE_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
  • DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
  • KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE

Computer Specs:

  • Windows 10 Home 22H2
  • Ryzen 7 3700X
  • Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite version 1
  • 64GB 3200MHz RAM (XMP profile enabled)
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR
  • 970 EVO Plus C drive

Things I've tried:

  • Updated BIOS from v16 to v19
  • Updated GPU drivers to Geforce 580.97
  • Deleting GPU DX cache folder contents
  • Updated chipset drivers
  • Restarted system multiple times
  • Re-installed Apex Legends
  • Verified game file integrity (Steam)
  • Reinstalled GPU drivers using DDU
  • Attempted to boot Easy AntiCheat Setup exe file for repair, does not do anything
  • Ran all command console system health check commands (corrupt files found and fixed, issue not resolved) sfc /scannow and dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Please see attached .zip file for minidump crash files.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I want to continue playing the game and prevent future problems. Please let me know if you require any additional information.
