Flickering in apex

Yesterday got a new laptop with ryzen 5 5000 series and rtx 3060 but when I open apex legends I am having some strange flickers. Does anybody know how to fix it? Here is a short video of the flicker. https://youtu.be/h8FFuVU3tCI

I tried that but it didn't work. I just returned the laptop and asked for a new one. Today I got it and everything is working so techincally the fix for this laptop is to just exchange it for a new one XD

  • @BetaPhotonMaybe gpu memory overheating? Can you check temps of your vram (hwinfo or gpu-z)? Also, what's the nvidia driver version? Any vram overclock?

  • Gpu isn't overheating it's at 40 degrees celsius. GeForce Game Ready Driver version is 471.96 (newest). No overclocking cuz this is a brand new laptop don't want to ruin it XD. Edit: Also started playing splitgate and the flicker is there too but minimal so it's probably a driver fault.

  • @BetaPhoton Can you please remove gpu driver by DDU on Windows Safe Mode (You can see many instructions on yt.) and download-install it back? 471.96 is newest and me & my friends do not have any issue while playing any game including Apex. Please do a double-check if it is notebook driver or not while downloading it from Nvidia website.
