help! 🥲🥲 Integrity error 0x8000002

I am Japanese. I haven't been able to play apex since season 23 started.

I don't use DS4Windows, rewasd or joy. I want you to tell me what is the cause and what the solution is.

I did a lot of research. I heard that the auto hotkey may be the cause, but I don't know how to unlock it or the app that causes it. I would also like to know the name of the file that causes the error.

I loved this game and charged tens of thousands of yen. I don't want to end like this.😭😭

  • SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!

It was DAEMON TOOL residue in my case.

Here are the steps I followed.

    1. Disable antivirus

    2. Install DaemonToolsLite

    3. Install Revo Uninstaller

    4. Uninstall DaemonToolsLite from Revo (the Daemon Tools and its logs and files, select everything and delete each time it asks)

    5. Go to Device Manager

    6. Expand each section and uninstall and delete everything containing DAEMON TOOLS <<<<

    7. Reboot, and then Apex should work.

  • @mesugaki_chapi3 Here's a few things you can try and let me know if any of these work for you:

    - Repair your game's files:

    - EA App: Go to your game library and click on Apex Legends, then click on "manage", and then "repair".

    - Steam: Go to your game library and click on Apex Legends, then click on the gear icon near the right side of the launcher, (below the game's artwork banner). Now, click on "properties", then "installed files", and then lastly, "verify integrity of game files".

    - Epic Games: Go to your game library and click on the 3 dots next to Apex Legends. Click on "manage", and then "verify".

Note: If you don't see this as an option on Epic Games and you have Apex Legends installed through the EA App, follow the steps for the EA App.

    - Reinstall the game

    - Clear Game/Launcher Cache:

    - EA App
    - Steam
    - Epic Games

Note: Steam doesn't exactly have a way to clear the game's cache, only a way to clear the download cache, but it might help.

    - Repair your system's files:

    - Open the Command Prompt in administrator mode

    - Type, "DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.

Note: DISM stands for "Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool". It often repairs Microsoft related files, such as issues with Window apps. Some problems with the next file checker can only be fixed after running this one first.

    - Now type, "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes), and wait for it to finish.

Note: sfc stands for "System File Checker". This one will repair system files, (such as important Windows drivers).

    - Lastly, restart your PC.

    - Changing your graphics settings in the system settings:

Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Change Apex Legends' graphics.

    - Other possible fixes for PC players:

    - Disabling any programs that may interfere with Apex Legends.

    - If you use AMD Software꞉ Adrenalin, try reinstalling it.

    - Update Windows, system drivers, etc.
