I cant add my cross platform friends or my platform friends. please help

Hi EA, I cant add any of my friends that are on steam apex legends or people that are in xbox. If you know why then can you please help me! I live in the uk and all my friends are from the uk

    Yes, I have had this issue with my son's underage account. That just seems kinda ridiculous to me though. The only reason I made the account for him was so that we could play together while I am on my PC, and I am not going to buy another switch.

    Should I just make an alternate standard EA account for him to use on the switch?

    Did you figure out how to add your child as a cross platform friend? I am also trying to play with my son, he is 8. He is playing on xbox and I am playing on Playstation 4 pro. Ive sent him request and he has sent me some as well but neither one shows up on our accounts.  I sure hope you can help. Id really like to play with him otherwise I wouldnt be playing at all. 🤷‍♀️

    @EA_Atic I am not an underage xbox account, and have made my account slightly older to try and make it work. all my EA settings are set to allow cross platform but I still can't play with my PS5 friend.
